- R Madhavan's Rocketry highlights the story of ISRO scientist and aerospace Engineer, Nambi Narayanan who was falsely accused of leaking confidential information about India's space development. He was convicted as a spy and arrested in 1994.The charges were later dismissed by the Supreme court.

We have lost a lot of time of isro due to him being framed, gaganyan would have been already completed and we would be launching tourists in space by now like Elon Musk, its commendable that he didn't fly off to work for Nasa before or after being framed

Well i get it that India is taking time to make a move on world space run but it has been always said that ISRO is not in competition with anyone, we do these experiments to show the world that we do this for research and with cost effectively
Getting into ISRO is extremely hard, you're having to compete with 50,000 other applicants. But the average pay is only 50,000 to 70,000 INR monthly. An average garbage collector or janitor in UK earns more than this, they get around 170,000 INR per month. So with the peanuts that you get in India, it's amazing you'd refuse to work for NASA that pays over 10,000,000 INR per year I think Sir Nambi rejected a pay of 9 Lakhs per month. It's crazy. It would be prestigious to work for ISRO, but I have no talent and I still earn more.

The cost effective when build any machine if is of rocket or other things which is of very high functionality as rocket more complicated than airplane. The parts which constitute of whole rocket were under keen consideration in form of flexibly making it in to a robust shape. The physic which competing with natural forces was the big question. But cost effective was of tottaly depends on work involved and material used but saving rocket was time saving part from material.
It's a shame if national conspirators destroyed Nambi Narayan's career. It's an even bigger shame if International conspirators destroyed Nambi's career and caused a patriot su much harm. Blame in either case goes to the head of state at that time, and that was Sonia Maino. Sonia could have done this in exchange of donation into the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation from CIA. This matter must be investigated thoroughly at all costs, to find out from the Police officers and Intelligence Officers, about who was giving them instructions to torture Nambi Ji. In a country like India, only politicians can cover or instruct such pathetic deeds. If so, Sonia Maino is responsible, and she must be held accountable to uplift the Indian spirit.

Other scientists who were colleagues of him in ISRO have spoken against him. He is saying he single handedly created the vikas engine. Which is not true, according thise other scientists.

I went ISRO for internship. Scientists there says that Nambi was the main hand behind the Vikas Engine.

In 1994 December, when I joined L&T, fabrication of PSLV was going on. I was on the shop floor. Nambinarayan claims that he has solved welding problems. It is not true.. My colleagues who worked earlier in welding department have solved it.
