Wow, some of those stones looked so weathered on the back. But by the entrance it was still a nice colour. I wonder if that structure is thousands of years older than some other polygonal walls 🤔 🤔
Very interesting, love your channel 👍 👌

Thank you for your excellent effort in bringing this to us. It is likely some of the missing stones were repurposed over the millennia as this temple fell into disuse or ruin from earthquake, invasion, cultural erasure etc. See Keith Hamiltons work on the Giza pyramids and then there are 3D reconstructions done by Robin Morgan youtube channel.

Amazing! This is the first time I've seen information on this site, 4500 years old also? In Italy. Kind of a big deal, like re-writing history.

This is the first video of this pyramid I have seen. I only recently had become aware of it in the last couple of years. I didn't know it wasn't solid like the Egyptian pyramids. Thank you Mirko and Debora for making this video for us. Safe travels.

There are many wonderful megaliths of similar style however this design is unique I’m not aware of another structure with that angle it would be a very durable structure so it is intriguing that it is disassembled or destroyed or whatever I would love to see a 3d model

The speculated age is equal to that of the great pyramids of Egypt, but the size and angle are very different. With such an angle, we are wise to not assume that it was ever a pyramid, along with the fact that it was a square hollow space surrounded by inclined walls. Such a style, seen elsewhere in the region, was, as you speculated, probably the work of a common culture... one which spread out to colonize new areas... following their wanderlust and desire to create something new and everlasting as inspired by a passion to build something for the ages... as a testament to their prowess.

isn´t it amazing that more and more ancient pyramids are being discovered around the world - besides those famous ones in egypt?
i remember that back in the 70ties erich von däniken was one of the first to point out pyramids in france (nizza, carnak).
later it became known that there are also some on the azore islands, along the coast of the crimean peninsula, in china, north and south america, australia etc. etc.
one of the main aspects - imo - is the fact that these are anti-seismic structures, no matter what was done or put inside over the centuries/millenia, combined with polygonal walls being extra-safe ... .

I appreciate your efforts in making these presentations as due to a busted spine I don't think I would be able to access these places now. I only wish I had known about them when I was in Greece for a winter about 40 years ago.
Also, stand aside Lara Croft. Debora has taken up your position.

Oh okay, thanks for the precisation my English is terrible and I thought you were telling Mirko that he should film me less (in the past someone wrote that I was too much around).
Thank you so much for the compliment, I'm flattered 🤭

@@deboramarcal4380 Whoever said Mirko was filming you too much obviously has no taste. I think you two would enjoy visiting some of the prehistoric sites here in Ireland. They are not on the same scale in size as the Greek and Italian sites, but they are still quite impressive.

One day someone will do a 3D scan of every stone and a computer will figure out how the stones fit together originally and maybe the puzzle will be reconstituted.
Dumb question -- sooo... cyclopes were about 2.5 meters tall?

Not a bad site. .........perhaps has coorlations to construction, projects.

Think it would have a wood/thatch roof. Would a habitation of that era haveva central fire pit? The entryway seems designed defensively, only one person at a time can go through.

Could You please start to focus upon the displaced joining faces of the stones, this will reveal how they TAMPED the softened edges to create the flat surface foe the next stone to fit to, it is not all the way across the faces.

Brien Foerster s Elongated Skulls on UA-cam. Those were found in Cuzco, Peru and in Crimeea, at the Black Sea; these skulls lack the parietal suture...these folks were carried by marine currents after getting through the Red Sea, says Foerster...

This pyramid did not "collapse" outward. It was purposely destroyed in antiquity, and looted. It would have been quite an undertaking to dismantle this structure. All of that, seems obvious to me. What did I miss here?

Why destroy such a Polygonal Megolithic Masterpiece? More likely these sites were hit with a disaster of Tidal, Volcanic, Metorific, or Plate Techtonic activity. I.M.O.
