yea, just saying 'it took a lot of labor' doesn't solve the problem - that surplus still needs to be created somewhere, you are just shifting the need for technology to the infrastructure that supported those laborers. in fact, it actually takes a much smaller surplus to develop sophisticated tools and then use them to build things, than it does to just throw insane amounts of labor at a problem with bad tools. you don't saw for hours with a dull blade, you spend a few minutes sharpening it and then make the cut in a few more. it's very obvious that these people were using excellent tools to produce such excellent work.
Amazing. The site has obviously been altered over time from the locals. It would be nice if it could be designated as historical with further investigations. Looks like a lot of the structure was re-quarried and rebuilt, especially after you showed the larger, more intact and precise wall around 6:50. Nice video
You see this in places around the world... look at the pillars in frame 1:32 the pillars are carved where as they do not relate to the way it is assembled, these parts are stacked up from previous ruins... the rocks stacked to the left are just rubble... where other areas its perfection... what is there is not original .
The slave labour theory does not hold water. There were a lot less people on the planet back then. To build any megalith would take thousands of slaves to quarry the stone, carve it, and transport it. They would all need feeding and clothing so an army of farmers and weavers, cooks and people to manufacture knives and plates, cooking utensils etc. Add to that farmers and builders for sleeping. They would still all need training, architects, drawing, and precise communications. The whole army of people and all of the infrastructure would need to be moved to the next project, the logistics would be huge. All of this done by people with no paper, phones, toolmakers, foundries etc etc. None of it makes any sense at all.
great video..I love this stuff! ..I have a few ideas or "theories" about the nubs found on megalithic stonework all over the world. I think they could be explained as a signature or calling card of the architect/builders. They may possibly be purposely left on the face of the stone to communicate a message..I wouldn't be surprised if there may be information encoded in these stones, with other attributes of ancient architecture combining to help solve the mystery. The "nubs" can also have a more practical use.. when the stone is laying "nub side down", they could be used to balance, spin, position or counter-weight? I have other ideas, but I love that we have these very specific features found nearly all over the world in time and places where it does not currently fit our narrative of humanity's history.
Hugh, great find! The polygonal wall building is so much like you see in Peru. And the nubs. It was great briefly meeting you at the summit, I was with Chuck at your booth. Still checking out your tours for next year.
My basic explanation would be the ancients hadn't discovered how to make bricks yet and just got really good at doing construction with stone. Either way the workmanship is excellent and shows us the determination and skill or these workers at the time.
I can imagine how these stone blocks are put together in a random way in order to withstand natural disasters. Minimise the amount of continuous wall joints
Wow, Thank You Hugh Newman for opening our eyes (like a doorway to our ancient ancestors) to this megalithic wall in India! Once again, this is additional evidence of a Great Megalithic Civilization that lived & thrived on all continents of our globe. They were all amazing stone masons, like a great Global Civilizations of Stone Masons that we can only ENVY! Skilled Masonry was their language! They did not need writing or hieroglyphics, as they understood Earth as no one else and worked in harmony with Earth's magnetic fields and its earthen stone treasures. They felt & knew Earth's powers like no one else and how to work in harmony with the Earth. They understood elemental stone structure like no one else. It spoke to them and they coaxed it to their masonry needs. The Earth was much more volatile back then, with earthquakes and volcanoes much more common, with tectonic plates still on the move, possibly. Their Megalithic walls were earthquake and shatter-proof! These GREAT MEGALITHIC MASONRY SOCIETIES FLOURISHED WELL BEFORE THE YOUNGER DRYAS CATACLYSM 12,900 years ago, and very possibly even earlier. (The Incas and Aztecs of S. America recorded that these megalithic structures were there long before they arrived. They came upon them and settled around these megaliths, incorporating them into their settlements).
How many places have to look the same for people to start seeing that it's not an accident or result of natural human progression in architecture. They all learned this from the same place, or the same people had a role in ALL of them. I hope I'm still alive when they REALLY figure this all out
This stuff boggles the mind, what an amazing experience it must be to see it in person. And you have it nearly all to yourself! I don't know how people can deny the possibility of an ancient global civilization that influenced the groups responsible for polygonal masonry. Its a real conundrum for our current understanding of human history.
This was amazing. Yes please, more like this. New places, amazing stones. It is also amazing that through out the centuries the locals did not take it apart to build their own houses... well done. PS I would like those elephants in my garden. PS2 nubs or knobs?
With so many details cut out with high precision in hard granit, it feels like the tool used must have been something fast, making the work easy going. Like shaping ice sculptures. Just considering that any failure is irreversible with granit.
Wow, that is impressive... on one side you can clearly see chisel work marks and how the stone got broke out of the rock. Typical marks we can see in a modern quarry and on the other side the blocks fits perfectly together, almost even. Partwise more than 4 corners. The blocks fit perfect together even they are curvy or ending smaller than they started... that is astonishing.
When you draw that red line on the Globe, 0:21 sec, you cross four megalithic cities. Aseria and Varvaria in Croatia, Daorson in BiH and Medun in Montenegro.
Those are some amazing walls! It would be great to compare them with the walls of the other forts in the region that were said to have been built in the same period. Thanks so much for your work!
Nice presentation - thanks! The great ancient World civilization spread out from one place - that place is India - various hordes of invaders dismantled thousands of temples in an attempt to destroy this culture which has an unbroken history of 100,000 years
Thanks for this document, have you thought to take thé mesurement of this temple ??? It could be interested to make a link with mesurement of Irak temple... 😉
Wow! Thanks Hugh! It strikes me that the nubs could have been made to allow the builders footholds while they were constructing these beauties, and possibly were destined to be removed once complete. Thanks again for the tour 🙏🇦🇺
you should visit Warangal India, near to this place. You will be blown away by the extraordinary and advanced techniques used to cut ancient rocks there
Strange mishmash of stonework 🤔. Some blocks look as if they could slide out from their surroundings. Like a practice run for other places on the World. And then of course, the mountain in the background looks like a pyramid 🤫
That little temple is built from broken pieces of stone. Even the top carving does not fit! This is fascinating. I thank you so much for going here to show us.
This is an incredible find, Hugh. The elephants & the circular object look like they have been made from a moulding rather than being carved. This is definitely up their with machupichu
it's crazy that they had such a precision and ability at that time. I recently tried to chisel a square corner onto a granite rock and it was really painful and hard. I cannot imagine how much time and effort it would've taken to do such amazing constructions back in time.
You dont half get around Hugh. Met you in London origins 2015. We had dinner with Andrew Collins and I showed you my original copy of Fingerprints of the Gods which Graham signed. You must love your life !
Best if you first estimate type of stone. Carry a simple tape measure to show us rough dimensions. Closeups of tool marks. Estimate distance to quarry. Investigate quarry.
The Lingam was (as the Greek Omphalos and the Egyptian Dsched pillar) a symbol of the earth axis, according to the Veda located on mount Kailas in Tretayuga. The Bull obviously doesn't mean the white bull Nandi but probably the constellation Taurus and especially the first age of Taurus (which began about 30.000 BC). This was the time of the first eight ruling gods of the Egyptians which are called Netheru. This is a Sanscrit word meaning Guardians, Watchers. In the Veda these eight gods were called "Vasus". Tey are: Ptah = Agni, Amun-Re = Surya, Shu = Vayu, Geb = Bali, Osiris = Prithu (an Incarnation of Vishnu), Seth = Vrtra, Isis = Durga (she replaced Khem = Kama), and Horus = Pushan. All of them also were constellations: Ptah/Agni = Aries Amun-Re/Surya = Taurus Shu/Vayu = Aquila Geb/Bali = ? Osiris/Prithu = Orion (like Vishnu), Seth/Vrtra = Ophiuchus Isis/Durha = Virgo (Khem/Kama = Sagitta) Horus/Pushan = Corvus
And the wall doesn't really look as polygonal. It looks more like the second phase buildings in Sacsayhuanan and the valley temple in Gizeh or the Osireion, which would fit my first posting.
This is the place where you can easily get some core samples through nubs and examine quartz crystal orientation. I'm not an expert but in steel melting and cooling produce unique structure with in steel itself that can be easy seen under microscope maybe something similar can be observe in granite. Nubs could be some surplus material after softening-melting and pressing.
India is a treasure of ancient history incredible. What blew my mind the most are the temple stonecrafting and gold infused water from these ligham fountains.

PS I would like those elephants in my garden.
PS2 nubs or knobs?
The zig Zag pattern shaped object half buried on the ground appeared like a miniature model of sasacyuman
One of the best vidéo i ave ever Seen.seriousely..tanks
With so many details cut out with high precision in hard granit, it feels like the tool used must have been something fast, making the work easy going. Like shaping ice sculptures. Just considering that any failure is irreversible with granit.
Wow, that is impressive... on one side you can clearly see chisel work marks and how the stone got broke out of the rock. Typical marks we can see in a modern quarry and on the other side the blocks fits perfectly together, almost even. Partwise more than 4 corners. The blocks fit perfect together even they are curvy or ending smaller than they started... that is astonishing.
I just want to say Thank you for Going on this journey And filming it and sharing it So that we may see the beauty and the history Again thank you
NEVER SEEN THIS PLACE BEFORE. TOTALLY AMAZING. ❤😊
Wowww...amazing😮 Thanks Hugh
I think this side was destroyed in the course of the war of the gods when Sambara's 99 fortresses were destroyed according to the Rigveda.
Awesome! Looks like building style from around the world 🌎
Wow! Thanks Hugh! It strikes me that the nubs could have been made to allow the builders footholds while they were constructing these beauties, and possibly were destined to be removed once complete. Thanks again for the tour 🙏🇦🇺
Maybe the nubs are a mark of the builders showing us all they were a worldwide civilization.
17:54 the mountain that looks like a pyramid
Good see you discoverying ancient India 🙏
Thank you for your travels. Just fascinating...
What were they trying to keep out with those hugh wall's !
I think it was the dinosaurs ie thunder lizards.
The Elephants
Un grandissimo grazie per aver mostrato questi luoghi nascosti dal tempo.
you should visit Warangal India, near to this place.
In India too!!! The forgoten history of Polygonal & Cyclopean Walls on this earth must be mind blowing.
Part of The ancient worldwide culture :)
This is an incredible find, Hugh. The elephants & the circular object look like they have been made from a moulding rather than being carved. This is definitely up their with machupichu
The farming here is almost impossible. I imagine at the time of building it was different, like in Egypt . Those bulls were made a lot later I think.
Amazing!❤ Thank s from Brazil!
it's crazy that they had such a precision and ability at that time. I recently tried to chisel a square corner onto a granite rock and it was really painful and hard. I cannot imagine how much time and effort it would've taken to do such amazing constructions back in time.
Mindblowing...
You dont half get around Hugh. Met you in London origins 2015. We had dinner with Andrew Collins and I showed you my original copy of Fingerprints of the Gods which Graham signed. You must love your life !
almost a loss of words is so awesome n cool n intense ty for showing this wall area
Tey are:
Ptah = Agni,
Amun-Re = Surya,
Shu = Vayu,
Geb = Bali,
Osiris = Prithu (an Incarnation of Vishnu),
Seth = Vrtra,
Isis = Durga (she replaced Khem = Kama),
and Horus = Pushan.
All of them also were constellations:
Ptah/Agni = Aries
Amun-Re/Surya = Taurus
Shu/Vayu = Aquila
Geb/Bali = ?
Osiris/Prithu = Orion (like Vishnu),
Seth/Vrtra = Ophiuchus
Isis/Durha = Virgo
(Khem/Kama = Sagitta)
Horus/Pushan = Corvus
Nice to see Hugh not wearing capris.... 😁
And the wall doesn't really look as polygonal. It looks more like the second phase buildings in Sacsayhuanan and the valley temple in Gizeh or the Osireion, which would fit my first posting.
Do we all see the shiva ligham and the key shapes all over the world as well! So similar
The stuff around Shiva Temple has been restacked from older pieces around the bull they found..
It would be great to see this same site be visited and explained by someone who actually knows what he's talking about.
