Used this music for a battle against some troll-blood infused stirges in D&D. It was so fitting, one of my players even said “oh my god, is that MOSQUITOS!?” when we rolled initiative! Thanks!

Hey I'm fighting stirges too! That was a really close one, two of us almost died including me. Who know mosquito-bats would be so deadly?
I think this track would even fit a "siege" battle where the party is on the side of the defenders.

Courtyard quests are considered EPIC quests, and are so large that you are not expected to finish them in one sitting. Instead, you may regroup at any time. Regrouping will abandon the quest, but your heroes do not get any additional stress, and when attempting the quest again, you will pick right back up where you last left off. Scouting works like the darkest dungeon, so the path will be revealed as you go along, but you can still normally scout, which reveals any encounters, and if you get a critical scout, any secret rooms.

Want to know how to beat the Crimson Court? Have your party look like this:
Vestal-Jester-Flagellant-Leper
Vestal can heal allies and stun enemies, Jester can keep stress manageable and bleed enemies, Flagellant can shred the enemy frontline and help the party manage health and stress alike, and Leper can smash annoying enemies quickly while also healing himself in both ways and being able to tank a lot of hits.
Adjust strategy as desired and bring good weapons, armor, and equipment, and you should be able to cut your way through entire legions of those bloodsuckers! This strategy makes the Crimson Court so much easier for me.
(The Hellion is an acceptable substitute for the Leper if you want to be less defensive. She is also better when fighting the Countess. But don't use either party composition for the Viscount or he will eat them up for breakfast.)
@@warrioroflight6872 Or if you use Mod classes, this is the line-up I used....(and I didn't even need to regroup with that team either):
Heir - Overlord - Ruler - Ruler
Though, the Overlord mod class can be a bit OP, since one of their skills (Grasp Heart) has a *low* chance to insta-kill, and it can even work on *Bosses* (this happened for me against the Fanatic, he showed up, Overlord moved first and used Grasp Heart, and the Fanatic just died instantly), and the Overlord class also has 200% resistance to both Bleed & Blight. And with 2 Rulers, Stress Management & protecting your back line is rather easy (and the Rulers can self-heal themselves just from the normal "rotation" of skills I use with them), and the Heir (the female "cultist" version of the Heir) was able to keep the party healed, and also apply some Bleed damage whenever she didn't need to use her heals.
Real men do Courtyard IN ONE SITTING AND NOBODY ON TEAM DIES!
@@warrioroflight6872 HWM-Crus-Flag-Hel is my go-to. Stress can be an issue even with Crusader, so I think there's a case to replace HWM with Jester or even Houndmaster, who has a stress heal, bleeds, and a mark to knock off prot from those damn chevaliers

Yeah, mosquitoes are the real bloodsuckers at least to humans, and they are far deadlier than bats, throughout the history of mankind a large part of humans actually died to mosquitoes even to this day.

Actually this may sound funny but it’s true,there was one time when I was 13 and got transmitted a disease by a mosquito,I thought it just sucked blood,just so I then start vomiting a lot,feeling weakness and bleeding a lot from my nose,it may sound confusing but in Puerto back in like 2014 if I remember that’s when there was the whole Dungue disease that was deadly and only mosquitoes can transmit it and the doctors told my mom back at intensive care without hearing (My mother told me after the fact) that I wasn’t going to survive,sure enough by some miracle I don’t even know to this day I survived because i drank from a water canteen my dad gave me, my mother said that water was from some holy site and that it had healing properties that I want to believe it was the case but I just don’t understand how since I see things through Science and logic,still that day scares me and when playing DD with the Crimson court DLC and I hear “Bloodletting” with the violin sounding like buzzing I feel dread,And strangely...I like it cause Stuart Chatwood knows how to invoke human fear with only a violin
Damn God be really looking out for you. It's surprising how miracles can just appear to some people who aren't even religious. Maybe you still have a purpose in this world that needs to be done. Maybe you just got lucky. Who knows, but it is really interesting how God works. Also, mosquitos do transmit diseases, and are in fact the most deadly creature in the world, due to it having the ability to transmit stuff like Malaria and Yellow Fever. They kill around 700'000 every year, which is why I am terrified of them.
Unoriginal Umbrella Yeah, like when a mosquito uses its needle(which is in the front of the head) you feel like it just itches and nothing else but you don’t know if it sucked your blood or actually transmitted a deadly disease which is scary,also from what I heard the can also well let just say “poop” and if that “poop” touches a wound or scratch and it gets infected all while you probably got a disease from that mosquito then that will make itworse
But would you in another life preffer such an experience, or learn all the terrible truths in the world?

There’s probably a program you can use to do so like Audacity. I’m planning to use this in combat scenes as well, but I want to loop the individual parts in particular. I don’t know any other way to do that besides an external program.
Hey I don't know if you're still even remotely interested, but there are audio files of the game available online on a Google Drive somewhere where most of the combat pieces in the game are neatly broken up into loops, which you can choreograph with a soundscape program like Softrope.
@@yinny9952 Gonna point towards the google drive, it's on a reddit post named "Here's All Of The DD Sounds Extracted As Wav Files!" The music files are somewhere in the Soundtrack folder I believe.
For campaign purposes there's also a lot of really good sound effects in that google drive
