She described the whole problem of fear and TMS brilliantly, better than anyone else I've ever heard describe it.

So true, started reading Dr.Sarno 20 yrs ago and it worked. You wake up and feel great, but as the day goes on you start feeling the pain. Depression, worry's and stress are big triggers. Be honest have faith and really learn to relax.

Nicole, back in 2013 I was hobbled by pain - sciatic like pain.
My daughter recommended “Healing Back Pain,” and I embraced the ideas.
The pain eased considerably and took about five months to totally disappear.
Last July I had a “hitch” in my hip. I was afraid it was some kind of degenerative hip problem and I put up with it.
One day, it simply moved to my lower back and I recalled reading that in Dr. Sarno’s book. It gave me real hope and within hours a lot of the pain disappeared.
I went to UA-cam to hear testimonials and came across your work. Thank you for everything you do.

So true. I have made great strides in my chronic pain in the past year by treating them as TMS. I have eliminated some chronic pains and issues, and greatly reduced the rest! I am still a work in progress. I thank you for the analogy of the emotions being a predator, another way to gain more insight into tackling this mind-body issue. Keep doing the good work in spreading this message!

Nicole could you define fear? Maybe do an entire podcast on it? At the beginning I never thought that fear applied to me, and now I've learned that fear can take many forms including hypervigilence. I was listening to your podcast on soothing and you said that the desire to change can be interpreted as fear and that is why we need radical acceptance. I don't think I am scared or frightened on a daily basis but I would like more information on this expanded definition of fear.

Can pain from a chronic anal fissure be considered chronic pain? The fear of it not healing properly or your bowels not moving properly because of an overuse of laxatives is crippling and keeps me in a chokehold

Hello, so I have been experiencing tms, and am 99.999 percent sure it's the cause of my pain and pain equivalents. My chronic back pain and plantar fasciitis have all but gone away, only resurfacing rarely now, these are my proof. I'm having difficulty deconditioning myself from frequent urination and urethritis. These aren't mentioned much in any tms books and I'm hoping someone can explain how they beat this. I'm working with my emotions and lowering tension levels as much as possible but these syptoms had caused alot of fear. .. that's likely why they are taking so long to go away. Hoping to find someone with a similar experience thanks!!!!

The frequent urination can be caused by the Teflon coating on your cooking pans. Also Diet Coke does the same.

As a Christian I'm sorry to hear that (eventhough this might not make ur situation better), but I agree with you there are ppl who pervert the bible and abuse it in order to gain their personal desires. Thank God you were strong and smart enough to be aware of these. May God give you peace and perseverance

You can make much more income by selling access to your videos THAT come with dry erase board facilitated lessons. $10 for a 30 minute lesson should work. You can do this. You've already almost given the lesson away for free. Make a deluxe version. I graduated cum laude in secondary ed. I've also read buckets of Zig Ziglar and Og Mandino etc. I'll help you for free!
