Great explanation , so simple and easy to follow , not those gaggy mouths need to be paid and you get nothing but blablabla and making things even more complicated , God bless , thanks' for the video
Hi! New to Zbrush and just bought your course on Udemy. Quick question! What is the overall point of Repotopoly? Is it for animation and posing? I just finished my base mesh character and don’t know where to go next as far as coloring/posing etc.
Hi, Tony from the past, this is Tony from the future-and I’ll answer your question. (or our question, get it? lol) Okay! so the point of Retopology is to create a smooth and consistent edge flow to the wireframe of your model. This will better prepare your project for the next production phase. Without Retopology, you won’t be able to properly set up your character for rigging and animation and you’ll be sculpting on an uneven surface. If all you want to do is sculpt a design and not animate it, (like the project your working on now) Then you won’t necessarily need it. But you will eventually learn it, and make incredible projects using it. You’ll see. Oh BTW-even though we never finished that course on UDEMY, our Goliath sculpt still turned out to be pretty awesome. 😉😎#GreetingsfromtheFuturE
Im waiting for a zbrush twin program that has an industry compatible and comprehensible UI where you can easily get used to and find what you are looking for in no time. Zbrush is a hell of a program but it's like somebody has put a camouflage on it. It's so confusing even someone who worked in the industry for years but is new to it struggles with it's alien UI.
What is the name of this instructor? I've never heard or read about that tip about adding more geometry and it makes me more curious on what other tips they can offer.
Thanks so much lady , One question soo if I subdivide this many times isnt the polycount gonna be too high? (I'm on my first job so i really dont know)
I haven't tried what's in the video yet but as always seems straightforward. Would this be the best method for characters for a game, and could I use this method for the whole body? Thxs
Yoo' hoo Hey down here lol please answer my original post. I've got a character for a fighting game I plan to animate. Could I use this method for my character to then go into a games engine? Thanks
can we use it with game characters? How bad will the animation look with zremesher topology and not the manual topology, i have heard everywhere always do manual topology for game characters but no one shows what exactly happens if you use zremeshed character and animate that
Hi there, yes you can for objects such as rocks, but for characters that are to be animated, I suggest you take it in 3ds Max or Maya after using Zremesher to further edit and create more animatable-friendly topology.
This has been a lifeline!! My gosh, THE most easy to understand tutorial. Cannot thank you enough!!!
i've watched about a dozen videos on how to do this but yours is the only one that covered polypaint and i finally got mine working!!!! thank you!!!!
Wow! It worked like magic!!! Am soo happy... God bless you for this awesome tutorial... Am subscribing to your channel straightaway
Finally a thorough guide, thank you so much!

Hey Muhammed, I can totally relate. In victory3d.com/, we make videos that are pretty much straight to the point, no time wasting. :)
Thank you thank you thank you! This was a clear and concise tutorial that really helped understood on how to use the zremesher

You earned a subscribe for solving my problems. 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for this, really informative
Glad you found this informative. Thanks for watching!
Thanks so much lady , One question soo if I subdivide this many times isnt the polycount gonna be too high? (I'm on my first job so i really dont know)
Im trying to stay below 4k polys so I can make an animatable Unity character .
I haven't tried what's in the video yet but as always seems straightforward. Would this be the best method for characters for a game, and could I use this method for the whole body? Thxs

Awesome video, thanks alot!
I'm totally new to z brush 🙈 is the zremesh topology immediately animation friendly?
thanks! this was very helpfull!
merci Victoire!
can we animate with this low res
good tutorial, but im grossed out at the sculpt
THANK YOU!!!
great help
Why do you project your polypaint on your zremeshed head ?
To control the amount of polys distributed throughout the mesh 👌
UsePolypaint is active, but its do not work for me. ZB 2018.1
can we use it with game characters? How bad will the animation look with zremesher topology and not the manual topology, i have heard everywhere always do manual topology for game characters but no one shows what exactly happens if you use zremeshed character and animate that
You can use this method with game characters, however, you will need to make modifications using 3d programs such as 3ds Max or Maya
Corazon Bryant thanks
Can i use this retopologized model into a game engine?

@@Victory3D Thank you so much for the attention! 😊 I will try it out. 😉
