Having to know plays, schemer, and techniques in depth isn't strictly limited to the NFL. Its known in high school in some places and definitely in college. Which I know from personal experience. Also, is anyone gonna give credit to Malcolm Smith who made the actual INT and went on to win SB 48 MVP LOL?!
And crabtree was a good receiver in the NFL. It's just Sherman at this point was on another level and didn't like their names being in the same conversation. Sherman's definitely faced many receivers much worse than Crabtree and he never calls them bums so it's just personal
@@Tellaz The Seahawks easily built those two SuperBowl teams because Pete Carroll came from Pac12 country so he knew that many Pac12 players were better than what the National Media & Fans were giving credit -- Richard Sherman & Doug Baldwin from Stanford were 2 guys Pete Carroll got because national scouts overlooked them. Similar to how Green Bay was able to get Aaron Rodgers from Cal. People assumed Aaron Rodgers was overrated because he was a QB in the Pac12.
@Tellaz I could be wrong, my memory isn't good but I could swear something happened between those two in that paeticular game. Something like Sherman tried to shake Crabtree's hand or give him a pound. Idk. Crabtree wasn't having it and Sherman felt some type of way. Definitely not 100% on that. He didn't seem heated until something happened and let it out in a postgame interview.

That rant is really what made it a rivalry, I hated this man until he helped in a big way send us to the SB. I forgave him there. But his verbal defense of the Niners everywhere on all the shows, love this guy.

Wrong lol playoff game against greenbay below 0.. crab had a all timer in the snow
@@TzUuupSo true! It's like people just completely forget who he had throwing him the ball too. I mean TBH if you absolutely NEED to call someone a bum for some reason then it would make a lot more sense to talk about Kaepernick. Btw this is a bit of a tangent but Just to be clear I think what the league did to Kaepernick was absolutely ridiculous/terrible. I find it so insane that their response to such a peaceful/nonviolent --and imo VALID-- protest about an important issue was so unjustifiably extreme and undeniably disproportionate, especially when you consider how many absolute scumbags there are in the NFL/sports constantly getting second, third, fourth, and fifth chances.. So I fully recognize that his protesting very clearly played a huge role in him never being signed but I also recognize that it wasn't the only one and his subpar abilities as a QB (accuracy, football IQ, ect ect) were a significant factor as well. Don't get me wrong though, he was obviously a great athlete, just not a good QB. Knowing that now just look at what Crabtree was able to do in Oakland and while Derek Carr is certainly better than Kaepernick he still wasn't by any means playing with a GREAT QB even then. So ya, while I've never been a fan of Crabtree (Sherman neither for that matter lol) but he certainly wasn't a bum IMO.
I’m a 49ers fan and I actually agree with what Sherm said Crabtree was a bum. He has no real highlights for anyone to speak of. I can talk more about Brandon Lloyd and Delanie Walker more than Crabtree
