“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” ~ Joshua 1:9
I have lived in Portland for most of my life. I love trees and have planted many, but policy in the city preventing people from cutting down healthy trees on their own property leads to damage and persoanl injury. The tall Douglas fir trees, which are the state tree, have shallow root systems. When not in dense forests with root systems that tie together with other trees, they become vulnerable to high winds and rare ice accumulation that causes even healthy trees to uproot, and crash onto homes, cars, and people.
Prayers 🙏🙏🙏
