Singing Wood Passive vs Saiyin Passive Bookshelf Speakers one of them may be right for you

- This video will hopefully describe two very good, and affordable bookshelf speaker that sound nice and are at a budget price. First we have the SINGING WOOD T25 Passive 2 Way Bookshelf Speakers, this speaker has a 0.75" (3/4 inch) silk dome tweeters and a 4 inch full range bass driver with a frequency response between 55 Hz to 20 kHz. And then we have the Saiyin Passive Bookshelf Speakers for Desktop Stereo, or Surround Sound, This is a 2-Way Passive Speakers, with a 3.5-Inch Woofer and a Silk Square Horn Tweeter. with a frequency response between 60 Hz to 20 kHz. Two excellent choices for any bookshelf or desktop application.

(I subscribed) I think what is good about your channel is that your reviews are believable. Your words are clear and perfectly paced. There are other channels that are out there, that may be more polished and professionally produced but your videos come across as authentic and relatable for the average audiophile gear consumer like me. I would without a doubt. In my view, I think that all Bookshelf speakers that I have heard had a better sound when you add a subwoofer to your setup.

Thank you, @@Viewmydesktop ! Based on your review, I immediately bought a pair of the Saiyin to try them out. Your review was spot on. For the price, they're not too bad at all; especially when set up with good equipment. I paired them with an NHT 10"subwoofer, and drove them with my vintage NAD 3020 (which was considered a 'budget' integrated amp in the day; yes, I bought it more than 30years ago). I also tried them through my old (budget) Monoprice Tube amp; at moderate volume level, close your eyes and the sound is impressive. Jazz, pop, folk (acoustic, unplugged, etc) classical... it handles it all decently (remember the price!).
The 'horn' tweeter on them give out a bright and 'airy' high end (they make the high-hats on a drumkit sing), give a wide soundstage and they image remarkably well. The midrange is pretty good too, as voices were natural sounding (not shrill nor compressed). The bass is remarkable, given the small size of woofer; I think these would be adequate as near-fields or in a small room or bedroom. I set these up in the living room and so the sub was needed. And I think the perfect setup would treat these speakers as more of a neutral, reference speaker rather than a rock/pop loud speaker. As you pointed out, they don't play that loud. For less than 40 clams for the pair, its pretty hard not to recommend these.
The only reason why I got the Saiyins over the Singing Wood was price. The Saiyin's listing yesterday on Amazon had a 25% off coupon, so I thought I'd try them out.

I just purchased some saiyin’s hoping to enjoy ten for the summer.
For a small inexpensive speaker, they have a lot of sound. I was just listening to them a few hours ago.
how about some dis-assembly?, take a look inside maybe, would definitely create more interest, so far do enjoy your channel

I have done a little tinkering around inside of some of my equipment in the past, maybe in the future I might be better prepared to explain the ins and outs adequately for a video. @@Viewmydesktop So I purchased a pair of the Dayton'ss 4 inch reference. I was thinking of getting a set of the Saiyins and replacing the woofers. You think that will make it a nice box for those Dayton's?

Dayton makes some really nice sounding speakers, and I think the Saiyins have a nice box also.
