Did it today just lifted fan unit took off turbo front flex pipe unbolted one end plastic cable try and two bolts for starter motor and two wire rear starter 1/4 socket and 3/8 sockets yours 4hours some struggle with bending to get to parts
Worth mention if one knows what is doing. The entire front can be disassembled in less than 15 minutes. That I'm 100% sure. Because I've done it a couple of times. Tip: If using cordless tools I've clocked 8 minutes. It's really fast and makes life SOOOO much easier. From the many vehicles I had/have. This Trafic is probably one of the easiest to work on. And the quick removal of the front is a major factor. ;-)
My starter motoer is sticking. It will only work if you rock the van in gear.there is a tick sound coming from the battery bay.could this be a dodgy starter relay? Is there a relay near the battery bay? Hope you can help good video.
The fault with starter motor. Did the imbolizer light work .also what fault did it come up as diagnostic. Sorry having trouble headaches .it will bump start .2nd gear .run fine .but not start on key .2010 dci 115 ..thankyou
Indeed, BUT for what it's worth I can take the entire front off in less than 15 minutes. Without rushing... Although it's possible to replace the starter without removing the front. In reality, should be said, most engine bay operation on this van are supposed to be done without the front. Precisely the reason why it's so easy to do. ;-)
Thanks just changed it today. What a nightmare of a location. Horrible to get to. All done and van like a rocket. Thanks a mill you legend
Superb! Changed it today after seeing your video. Thank you. 👍

Should of cleaned the Shebang first before commencing repairs. Far out, what a gunk job.
