More of The Same

This weekend we planted grass seed behind the pigs, took care of the animals and Caroline took over chores. We cleaned out the back storage of the camper, so we are organized. Mom has all of her wheat for baking bread this fall in order now.

Good work! I hope you try eating raw beets sometime. Canned ones are mushy. Raw ones have a similar taste and texture as sweet carrots. I just peel them with a potato peeler and cut them up into French fry sized pieces. Great for snacking. You can shred them like carrots, too, and add them to salads.

Were you affected by Helene last week. I think Caroline is ready to give you back the animal chores, but let her know I think she did a great job. I have no idea why my squash did so poorly this year, your pumpkin patch makes me jealous. Listen to your Mom Ty eat your vegetables. 😀
