I totally agree with what you said about situational awareness. I'm relatively new to Halo. I've got about 500 hours solely on kbm since season one (I haven't had the time to jump into season five yet), half of that time is in custom games and academy to improve my aim. But in all of that time, I've gained absolutely ZERO knowledge of spawn predictions, strategy, positioning, map control, basically no "Halo IQ" whatsoever. I'm just not getting that from passively playing the game. How do I actively practice these things? I'm wondering if it has anything to do with playing solo -- I always queue solo because Halo is simply not popular among my peers. How much does not talking to teammates hurt your game sense?
You gotta be on drugs to think MnK is at all OP in this game especially with a long TTK and movement spam. If you miss one shot in a 1v1 trade with a high diamond/onyx controller player then youre losing that fight majority of the time with how aim assist just sticks to you in this game. Controller is by far the better input device in Halo Infinite and definitely easier to use. As the player base keeps increasing for Infinite I would like to see them bring back input device based matchmaking
Eh, don't agree, as much as I WANT to agree. The aim assist is so strong, the magnetism so strong. The only mouse advantage is flick potential but that's only in play for sniper quick shots, which are situational and rare if you're playing right. Most of the game is tracking and staying on target, which essentially is done for you fully with controller, even with the Bandit its still there. At almost all ranges the aim assist is following as you strafe and try to shake them off. Yeah you can swing around faster and track at weird angles with mouse better, but again, if you're playing right you don't put yourself in those situations.
@@CAL1MBO Yup. There are rare scenarios where mouse potentially has the edge, but in most scenarios controller wins, esp if you know what you're doing and position right. Its very hard to find that balance. Cross play is the ideal, but its so easy to mess up controller. Too little assist and it feels really bad and like a tank turret. Too much and its easy mode, barely any skill, and is dominant. I think most controller players actually want less aim assist. COD has the most recently and you see players asking for less because even on controller only it drastically lowers the skill ceiling. All you have to do is look in their general direction and its locked in. Even tracking the hitbox reg for controller is so forgiving. That bullet magentism. I think Halo 1 had it dialed in right from the start honestly. They essentially popularized the modern control / aim assist/magnetism and they had it dialed in from the start. It wasn't too much or too little it was perfect.
When I left the game about half way through season two I was in like the top 1% of MnK only players in crossplay and tbh that wasn't saying much mostly because MnK was so bad. But coming back holy moly I have been BLASTING people with the bandit. It feels SO good to actually have consistent 3 shot melee as opposed to the 2 shot melee from the BR on MnK. Its much stronger vs the average player. But like before - Diamond 4+ controller players who know what they're doing will melt you with tracking. With autorotate - they can track you simply when you're juking and weaving in a gunfight - but you have to manually track and with a single shot weapon if you miss even one - you're going to lose that battle. Face to face 1v1 with a good player - you're probably going to lose. I reached Onyx 1687 on controller - can't even get out of diamond 3 on M/K - but I still like it better. The movement and freedom M/K gives you is so good. This season will be more about teamwork IMO.

2:58 so refreshing to hear an MnK player tell the truth. MnK is SO strong, I just believe controller is more consistent with AA and to really master MnK in a game where guys have mastered controller by playing for 20 years, it’s not going to be easy. However, I don’t think it’s an impossibility to one day see the number 1 player being an MnK user in the future.
It's not even so much the AA that makes controller strong in halo. AA is in most games where MNK still dominate. AA is also not the "aim bot" most think. It's most useful aspect is a built in lower sensitivity while on target while still having faster setting. Halo is good on controller because it takes less advantage of MNK strengths. Slower movement speed, longer TTK, little to no recoil ECT. All play well into controllers smooth analog sticks. Faster paced twitch shooters where movement and quick flick shots mnk win
The flicking is a bad habit. Evo is a legitimate precision weapon. Anyone trying that against someone with a serious straffe is gonna have their world rocked.
Idk. When were talking about the best players in the world having the option to play either or you tend to see a pattern where the majority chooses the better input for very high levels of competition. If mnk really was "extremely strong" or op even you would see more pro players using it. This is true with any competitive activity at the highest levels. The majority will always shift to the meta. So until you start seeing alot of pro players making the shift, I wouldn't be calling out that mnk is "extremely strong". Just as always, both inputs have advantages and disadvantages. Us please just play with what's most comfortable lol.
Well, there is some legitimate input lag for MnK on the Xbox. Unless you use a Razer Turret, maybe. But that's not gonna be viable for all MnK players due to mouse shape preferences and hand size differences. I'm pretty sure this is a big reason why you don't see any in the pro space.
@connorjosleyn386 but didn't the guy say that at the top level tourneys they play on pc? I may have misheard. I haven't tried mnk on console so I can't confirm but I'll take your word for it. That would be good reason.
i play around with a mouse on my series x from time to time. I've always been a controller player. But ive realized that it's easier for me to aim and shoot with the mouse than a controller but I'm super trash with movement using a keyboard. BUT, when i play with the mouse, i don't use the keyboard. I use a controller with paddles (series 2, Instinct pro, Gambit [yes i have all 3.]) Yes mouse in 1 hand controller in the other. So im looking to get a "gaming keyboard" with a thumbstick , a game pad. Sorry for lengthy message, just informing of another set up. Good luck
Im not sure MnK is overpowered in Halo (but this is coming from at best a Plat3 ranked player lol) but i def agree that Bandit Evo starts are a shift in our favor. Honestly, I wish they would take the bit of aim assist for MnK and give us a true raw input. And if anything, just give MnK a bit bullet magnetism.
Ya know, I hadn't thought about your first point much. When I went to my last event, I did notice everyone in the open bracket was playing on Xbox and thought it was super weird. Probably going to make me lean toward playing with controller again. Just getting back to Infinite after a long break, but have been playing The Finals on mnk like a mad man.😊
Started using controller as an avid m&k user and went back after a couple days, I was GOOD (about 50% acc), but not godly like I was with m&k (similar 60% acc), however I believe why I switched back was because even though it's about the same accuracy, it was way less consistent than mouse, beyond that it's very important for every m&k user to try it at least once, since it really forces you to play smarter and not harder, and that rubs off when you go back from controller.
I think if you've only experienced that you'll be fine. I don't personally have a series x, it's just what I've heard from players that compete at events on them!
Question about mnk sens. I set my sens how I like then throughout my session my sens will skyrocket without changing anything. Not sure what’s happening or how to fix. Advice?
I am loving it. On controller I can’t use mnk. Just a quick question how are you getting the colours of enemies and your friends to pop so much. What’s your monitor settings.
Mouse and keyboard player here. I use a high sensitivity mouse setting. Which helps my movements and look speed. But my aim suffers sometimes. Which causes me to lose a lot of 1vs1 gun fights.
02:40 fair. If you capture live, then compare to replay the desync is clear. The replays show how unoptimized the netcode is. It sounds like it is worth giving MnK another try.
Aiming aside, the movement is why MnK is and will be meta. Movement with sliding and the disruptor is awesome with MnK, you can do stuff that controller just can't do.
MnK movement is absolutely cracked you’re right, there’s so much you can do so fast that you can’t on controller, that being said, you can moves much more precisely on a controller without using your aim at all which is a huge benefit because it lets you do skill jumps and other base movements while shooting someone.
Thanks for the video, Active. In my view, 343 should never have added aim assist on PC in the first place. Instead, they should have lowered it for controllers, which is clearly set way too high. This would have led to a more competitive and skillful esport and shooter experience. It would have been a much more satisfying approach imo. I remember when I started playing Infinite on release with MNK. I had to practice my aim to gradually improve my accuracy, and it was awesome to play Halo that way again. I could see that my practice efforts paid off, and players often missed shots. I could win or lose my duels depending on a bigger skill gap, which created a more dominant dynamic. With a controller and no practice, I just had the same accuracy stats from the beginning, and fights, especially with the BR, were primarily based on who shot first, every time. I generally preferred playing Halo with a controller but refrained from doing so due to the modern Halos aim assist levels and model, which differ from the Xbox/360 days. I believe there's room for a more suitable level of aim assist on controllers that would eliminate the need for it on PC. Aim assist isn't necessary on PC in the first place, its a step in the wrong direction. Halo Infinite's competitive potential would be much better utilized if they took that approach instead. I love this game and competitive Halo. I hope that 343 Industries makes adjustments moving forward, i dont think they will though :( . Letting the Bandit be the starting weapon instead of the forgiving BR is a good start though. Good day to you!
Thanks for watching! Yeah I think honestly the friction was added to hide performance flaws but I agree that friction should not be on mouse. I'll continue to monitor thoughts and send them over to 343 as time goes on with this new meta.
I feel like people put way too much importance on the effect aiming has in this game. It's obviously a fundamental and you need to be able to hit your target. But with either input method the ceiling for aiming is pretty low.
I play both, but i definitely leaned heavily on controller for ranked last season. Bandit starts have changed that. Lol. It's been so much harder to land that last headshot with controller. MK has helped me land those headshots much more consistently.
Overpowered M&K?.... Nah. There is a HUGE gap in accuracy % of the top 100 M&B and top 100 Controller. And the gap is even bigger outside the top 100. Getting a pro to switch and be successful is not the same as getting a M&K player who isn't a pro to be competitive. There will always be outliers, such as yourself, but overall M&B in Halo Infinite is faaaaar from overpowered, in fact the opposite.
it comes to controller missing in average as much as humans with MNK. Until those average misses are more or less the same a pro wont have an inceptive to change. If with controller i 5-6shot 90% of the time and with MNK i 6-7 shot 90% of the time why change? the only good point is that AA seems lower so that is the only step in the right direction.
I think you misunderstand the point isn't to make you change to one or the other. It is to make people who prefer one over the other be able to compete on a level playing field.
@@LAZYLOFTY if you compete does not matter your preference IMO, if a pro knows his consistency for damage over time is better with an input he is not going to use other thing no matter preferances
What's funny is ranked is playing at a phenomenally SLOWER pace now. Overall the bandit evo starts suck in comparison to the BR. People are just camping now and not trying hard to do so since they don't need to.
As someone who's been playing Mouse and Keyboard since day 1, I thought the original bandit was absolutely garbage. Shots never felt right, no matter what range shots were just impossible to hit. On the contrary I thought it was great on controller, but they did something magical with the bandit evo. It feel so nice and crisp on K&M. Its what the bandit should have been in the first place.
I play a couple hours everyday and I can get more kills with mouse and keyboard. Couple weapons respond better to mouse and keyboard, bandit, commando, br, sentinel beam, magnum. The others are all better on gamepad. I feel like the AR is underpowered for basically any engagement you’ll lose most engagements against any other weapon.
After watching top players use the bandit for a week, I have to conclude that mouse is still not viable in high level play. Controllers have at least a 5% accuracy advantage.
In close range fights I agree, but I think you're comparing apples and oranges. The only time input will matter is if you're in the top 16 teams, otherwise I think you should play whatever you have more fun with!
I made a reddit post about this and reddit shat all over me. Mainly because I said bandit starts confirmed after mint blitz said so. He was right, again.
I didn't want to comment on this video until I had more time with the Bandit Evo. I'm definitely enjoying it. I'm actually starting to pick it up and use it instead of the BR when given the choice. Close to Mid range it shreds. You can hit a lucky long range target that's one shot, so you help damage at a distance and the updated reticle is an improvement over the strange waffle iron pattern from b4. I'd still like some visual flare but I understand ADS isn't a Halo thing. Someguy is doing mods that adds ADS and it looks amazing. ua-cam.com/video/_lrvOhxAzdc/v-deo.html
Idk why anyone would think it isnt viable. I have the most headshot kills 90% of my ranked games. Honestly watching controller gameplay that isn't pros or high elo is hard to look at even before with the BR 😂 The amount of poor controller players that can do nothing as I ninja them because of their turn speed is hilarious. Its actually pretty funny when they get shot in the back and all then can do is run because they're dead before they can turn.
I have also heard that the Polling rate for M&K on XBOX is only 250Hz instead of 1000Hz like on a Pc . Is that true and one of the causes of M&K players not qualifying for HCS?
@@ActiveOnHaloyou think that's a good thing? I hope you get your aim assist removed. Lol. It's absolutely absurd that you think you should dominate in a console game.
@@ActiveOnHalo lol git gud and stop asking for handicaps. The idea that you think you should be able to come into a console dominate game that people have been playing for two decades, and expect to get pandered to, is pathetic. The fact you guys can't play halo correctly is why you were demanding aim assist in the first place and still bitch about controller players. Cause all of you people think controller players aim primarily with their sticks, instead of player movement. Which is exactly why PC players were getting wrecked. Playing the game like cod or csgo.
Controller or M&KB isn't the problem it's PC THAT'S THE PROBLEM I play console and when I'm up against other console players I can get a 16/10/5 match but if I'm up against PCers FORGET IT I'm lucky to squeeze out 10/15/0 match which then draws the ire of Teammates because they ALSO might be on PC so console players are behind the proverbial eight ball no matter what we do. I average a mid thirties to low forties ping, and I'm stuck at sub a 60 frame rate you've got a 20 ping & + 200 frame rate no amount of skill is going to compensate for that kind of advantage I propose 343 turn on the feature to Disable Crossplay, and create some kind of cap where you only face people at your tier so we can't get these awful disparities even amongst players on the same teams Golds face Golds... Plats face Plats like WHY isn't this already in effect. The other thing I would implement is a Rank Rest option because people get BETTER you could have a shit Rank assessment because "Oh look PC players, MORON Teammates, or you just get out played" now you're at Bronze because of factors beyond your control NO GODDAMN WAY would I grind Rank for hours just to get one level of Bronze.
More precise aiming and movement, even strafing on MnK is better it’s left-right or right-left instead of left-center-right or right-center-left… making MnK players hard to track during fights… all those advantages lock at 250fps..you have no choice but to be good
I will say I feel it is viable especially in pro play. I think I say that as I am biased & I am pursuing a pro career in Halo. I feel confident in my mechanics to compete & keep working to improve them. The Bandit feels wonderful on M&K so I feel this is the time for M&K to rise up & be competitive against controller.
Oynx player every season. M and K and controller let me tell you M and K is dog shit on halo. I just pick up a controller if I’m struggling. I’m an M and K main. Just I can’t play better with a input I don’t have much time on. I typically hit max rank on any game I play. But halo is by far the hardest to play on M and K H3 50 HS every playlist H2 and Ce vet. So y’all nerds can talk trash to me for speaking truth
Hey Eric! Yeah M&K takes a bit to get used to, but I can say it's a lot of fun once you give it time! I think the best thing to do is just to play whatever you have more fun with! No need stressing over an input if its not for you
@@ActiveOnHalo then in that case it's more than capable of competiting with controller. IN fact no kbm player should really be complaining about input imbalance now.
There's also bullet magnetism, which KBM always had alongside controller, which is the shot itself bending towards the target to forgive near-misses. The Bandit EVO seems to have significantly less bullet magnetism than the BR does, which results in more outplay opportunities even at a high level. While still having a similar aim assist and friction radius so aiming is just as comfortable.
It’s absolutely capable of competing with controller. The problem is that it is less consistent over time because it relies on human input more and the controller is a basically guiding the auto-aim feature around the map. It’s far more intense to play MnK
Nah, I think controllers will still dominate the field. Sure aim matters slightly more, but Halo is forgiving enough for controllers because of strafes and TTK. Mouse and Keyboard players will probably have a higher chance of winning duels and stuff, but it's irrelevant towards rank. Good players will stay good players, and less-skilled individuals will stay their respective ranks REGARDLESS of the new Bandit starts.
agreed! mnk bandit is not op, maybe for a person who has high fps and thousands of hours in on playing mnk n thousands more mnk play in halo esspically after what 1, 2, 3, 4 seasons of shit mnk support etc it feels op to them but controller halo iq is far more dominat the game is litteraly built around controller iq, its at a great balance doe now with bandit aiming but the desync just ruins the whole transition still, overpowered no, balance yes but maybe still needs a bit more balancing etc due to dysnc and input lag issues like blank mnk shots, i see that more of a messed up response on the games end rather then someone completely missing shots etc we should be able to yeet flick shots over an enemy n have those shots land, controller can get away with the most yeeted shots ever cuz magetism, not asking for aa mnk just fix the desync or add reticle friction for bandit to cuz i dont see it even when watching seasoned halo mnk players on high fps etc
Nah, I’ve played the game since launch and have competed for my college and played MnK. Halo infinite has major issues with the mouse. Mouse acceleration plagues this game and aim assist does exists on a small scale. So MnK players have inconsistency with aim and also controller will always be better at close range with MnK with aim assist especially with the bandit
Almost every shooter these days accommodates the strengths of MNK. MNK is far superior in recoil control, accuracy with high sensitivity, flick shots ECT. Which is most all modern twitch shooters. People always blame AA but most all games that play into mnk strength, mnk is still vastly superior even with AA. Halo is one of the FEW games that take little advantage of those MNK strengths. Slower movement, higher TTK, little to no recoil ECT. All of which played very well on the smooth strafe of an analog stick. ITS THAT gameplay that gave halo ITS FEEL. All these MNK players who keep wanting to change halo to better suit their input method are simply wanting halo to not be halo & become something diff. Most all people who cried about BR are MNK players or halo players who started in later games. Most older halo fans want halo to play & feel like halo. It's simply that style plays better on controller. But MNK crowd is a loud entitled group who cry alot about things they don't like so in the end get there way & eventually just another mnk dominated twitchy shooter
I completely agree. 343 has done everything accommodate mnk players. It’s not even fair at the moment. That’s why I don’t rate mnk users as much as control as because control you actually have to learn the mechanics. I see noobs on mnk do ridiculous things. 343 definitely turn its back on Xbox users and made it more into an mnk shooter.
This has been hidden by friction that has been added. Also make sure you watch my updated settings video, maybe it'll make it feel better for ya possibly.
Mnk is definitely overpowered. You already have the advantage in movement and you aim with a mouse with aim assist. That is is why I don’t rate mnk players compared to control players.
@@ActiveOnHalo Im also having this issue where my accuracy is now up 10% and I'm still losing most of the gunfights to people with 10%+ less accuracy lol
3 months later, no! Installed infinite for the first time since day one. game is still largely unplayable on m+kb, unless you are okay with not being able to aim in a firefight. easily the worst m+kb experience in the last 5 years still.
I wholeheartdly disagree brother. Just because you can't hop on and be amazing, doesn't mean it's not a good experience. Halo isn't CoD where you can jump in and just slay, it takes really solid tracking. I mean just look at WuTum. He's an up and comer and 100% shows what M&K is capable of.
@@ActiveOnHalo "just play for 500 hours to get good" seems to be a pretty typical response, but that's not the mindset you want if you want halo to survive through infinite. The fact that you have to put in hundreds of hours just to learn how to deal with the aim assist speaks to how poorly the game has been developed, not to how "good" the aiming system is. I honestly can't think of another game that has a pro league that requires keyboard users to use aim assist. Instead of giving PC players what they've been asking for since release over 2 years ago now, they've doubled down on requiring PC players to play with a massive handicap. 343 is trying to re-invent the wheel instead of listening to the industry.
I'm completely sure they just played that, I went back to halo and it felt too good to play in mnk, but I feel like something changed, and now it's a lot harder to aim with a mouse
Mnk has always objectively been better. If keyboard players were suddenly beating controller players with 2 decades of non stop experience, it'd be a PROBLEM lol. Mnk can objectively make every single play controller can, and tons it flat out can't. It's always been better. It's purely a skill issue. Mnk begged for aim assist like children. Cause elitism. They still complain. Still. Even when they have aim assist and the bullet magnetism they always had.
Exactly. It's not even opinion. Mnk can do everything controller can do faster, with more precision, and plays controller straight up can't. Idk why mnk players expected to come into their first nee halo in over a decade, and wreck players that have been playing on controller this entire time for two full decades. It's nonsense.
Would be a massive mistake to let the input meta shift heavily towards MnK 🫤 Really appreciate what was said here. Kudos for being honest about things and not sugar coating what this update has done. The biggest thing I took away from this was that if LAN tournaments had PCs, no one would be playing controller after this update. There are so many shooter games on the market that PC players can enjoy if they want massive advantage. Halo, because if it’s impact on console culture, has done such an incredible job up until this point with maintaining its presence as a balanced shooter while respecting its very own history of input selection. This is a fast track way for Halo to lose it’s identity IF the input balancing isn’t managed correctly. Don’t let the opinions of a small percentage of the player base completely shift the enjoyment of the overall experience. The ones who aren’t necessarily active on social media or droppings comments should be taken into account as well. Keep Halo, Halo.
As a MandK player my accuracy has gone from 45% to 55-65% without changes anything. Taking your time on that last shot is key.
Yup, that's been a big factor for sure! Thanks for watching!

Yes, Yes it is and I havent even watched the rest of the video. I am loving the Bandit Evo and the skill gap it provides! It is our time to shine!
Couldn't agree more!

where have you been my guy@@ActiveOnHalo
You have to flick. It's impossible to track Halo Infinite strafes without aim assist.
@@malceum i would disagree. Everyone has their play style tho.
I've been experiencing more input lag and weird physics with my movement on MnK since the new update. I thought MnK had gotten worse honestly.
Is there fr input lag on m&k on console?? It runs super smooth to me but I guess I haven’t experienced higher than 120hz
I think if you've only experienced that you'll be fine. I don't personally have a series x, it's just what I've heard from players that compete at events on them!
BEEN PLAYING SINCE THE BETA ON LAPTOP WITH MOUSE AND KEYBOARD! I've believed, and wow, Bandit Evo feels great!
Question about mnk sens. I set my sens how I like then throughout my session my sens will skyrocket without changing anything. Not sure what’s happening or how to fix. Advice?
might be mouse acceleration or you have a dpi switch binded to a keyboard button or mouse button without realising
Yeah you gotta try and find that middle ground. The most important thing is to make sure your shot is consistent.
02:40 fair. If you capture live, then compare to replay the desync is clear. The replays show how unoptimized the netcode is.
It sounds like it is worth giving MnK another try.
Scoobmeistr who is playing in the AUS/NZ HCS for Mindfreak is a MnK Player and is currently playing at International Level!!
Yeah, i've casted him multiple times, he's great! Going to be hard for him this season though with only 1 ANZ team getting flight and hotel stipends.
Aiming aside, the movement is why MnK is and will be meta. Movement with sliding and the disruptor is awesome with MnK, you can do stuff that controller just can't do.
Movement is awesome. But the disruptor? I think it feels absolutely awful.
MnK movement is absolutely cracked you’re right, there’s so much you can do so fast that you can’t on controller, that being said, you can moves much more precisely on a controller without using your aim at all which is a huge benefit because it lets you do skill jumps and other base movements while shooting someone.
It definitely felt better against roller players for sure. I did feel like the reticle is unnaturally low on some of the headshots I hit last night
Hmm, didnt notice this, but I'll try and see if I can
Thanks for the video, Active.
Excellent point! Instead of raising something, lower the other thing and vise versa. That concept can/does work well with other subjects
Do you only coach MnK?
I feel like people put way too much importance on the effect aiming has in this game.
It's obviously a fundamental and you need to be able to hit your target. But with either input method the ceiling for aiming is pretty low.
I play both, but i definitely leaned heavily on controller for ranked last season. Bandit starts have changed that. Lol. It's been so much harder to land that last headshot with controller. MK has helped me land those headshots much more consistently.
season 5 feels better on mouse ive noticed i felt like i was getting headshots a lot easier
What’s a spawn wait?
Spawn "weight" some spawns are heavier than others for a multitude of reasons.
I'm Diamond 6 in team snipers (MnK). Bandit evo feels really good in Infinite
it comes to controller missing in average as much as humans with MNK.
@@LAZYLOFTY if you compete does not matter your preference IMO, if a pro knows his consistency for damage over time is better with an input he is not going to use other thing no matter preferances
excited to see how it changes the flow of the game
Same here, excited for next season!
Isn't it so incredible?
The bandit evo is good. I don’t want to use any other gun in Halo rn
Can you explain in detail why M&K isn't "viable"?
Idk why anyone would think it isnt viable.
I have the most headshot kills 90% of my ranked games.
Honestly watching controller gameplay that isn't pros or high elo is hard to look at even before with the BR 😂
The amount of poor controller players that can do nothing as I ninja them because of their turn speed is hilarious.
Its actually pretty funny when they get shot in the back and all then can do is run because they're dead before they can turn.
Hey active what fov are you using with the new bandit starts?
I'm up to 120 right now. Dynamic reticle is really nice.
Dynamic reticle meaning the circular style? Or bloom?
I have also heard that the Polling rate for M&K on XBOX is only 250Hz instead of 1000Hz like on a Pc .
Is that true and one of the causes of M&K players not qualifying for HCS?
Well I'm sure that adds to it yes. But I think with some changes we might start to take over.. hold your hats.
@@ActiveOnHaloyou think that's a good thing? I hope you get your aim assist removed. Lol. It's absolutely absurd that you think you should dominate in a console game.
LOL.. old man
@@ActiveOnHalo lol git gud
and stop asking for handicaps.
More precise aiming and movement, even strafing on MnK is better it’s left-right or right-left instead of left-center-right or right-center-left… making MnK players hard to track during fights… all those advantages lock at 250fps..you have no choice but to be good
infinite buffed mnk and evened controllers, mcc still has massive problems on that side
Let's go!! Good luck to you!

No need stressing over an input if its not for you
You use mouse and keyboard to be more accurate.
I use mouse and keyboard because my controller is dead...
We are not the same
Hahaha
MnK is so fun now
Agreed! Thanks for watching!
is aim assist still on kbm?
Its considered Friction. Aim assist pulls to the target, friction slows down your reticle when over the target. But yes, it's still there.
The duals are tough on MNK compared with the BR IMO. The last shot in a strafe battle is tough against good movement
agreed! mnk bandit is not op, maybe for a person who has high fps and thousands of hours in on playing mnk n thousands more mnk play in halo esspically after what 1, 2, 3, 4 seasons of shit mnk support etc it feels op to them but controller halo iq is far more dominat the game is litteraly built around controller iq, its at a great balance doe now with bandit aiming but the desync just ruins the whole transition still, overpowered no, balance yes but maybe still needs a bit more balancing etc due to dysnc and input lag issues like blank mnk shots, i see that more of a messed up response on the games end rather then someone completely missing shots etc we should be able to yeet flick shots over an enemy n have those shots land, controller can get away with the most yeeted shots ever cuz magetism, not asking for aa mnk just fix the desync or add reticle friction for bandit to cuz i dont see it even when watching seasoned halo mnk players on high fps etc
Late watching the vid, but one word for us KBM players wondering if theres a chance... WuTum!
The game feels like shit on mouse. It feels like you are dragging the mouse through water
This has been hidden by friction that has been added. Also make sure you watch my updated settings video, maybe it'll make it feel better for ya possibly.
Bandit = M&K >>>
Agreed!
Mnk is definitely overpowered. You already have the advantage in movement and you aim with a mouse with aim assist. That is is why I don’t rate mnk players compared to control players.
is mnk in a good balance rn yes, is mnk overpowered hell no, its all iq experience and better fps that makes it feel overpowered lol
I need to try again rankeds, the aim assist on controller was so overpowered
Too bad, the bandit feels extremely unsatisfying to get kills with.
I kind of agree from an audio design standpoint but once you get used to it.. it's a TON of fun.

The aim assist is way to strong in infinite, in mcc games it feels way softer
No one mentions how there is aim assist on m&k in this game
It's there, but controller aim assist is still too strong. HCS will be 100% PC controller players in 2024 if nothing changes.
I'm completely sure they just played that, I went back to halo and it felt too good to play in mnk, but I feel like something changed, and now it's a lot harder to aim with a mouse
FMNK!
I think you are giving that 2 decades of controller experience a bit too much credit.
MnK will never be on top in halo.
Halo is and always will be a controller game. The best controller players will always stomp the best MnK players.
