- One day my LG dryer was not heating. In this video I will show you the replacement steps for the heating element. I ended up having a lot of trouble with this because I bought an aftermarket part that only lasted a week and had to take it apart again to fix it with an authentic LG part.
Here's a link to the LG heating element - amzn.to/47mSp44 - Навчання та стиль
Those dual coil elements never fail. I don't even carry one for van stock.
It's probably the $10 genuine LG high limit fuse.
Is that an auto-resetting fuse?
@@CarolinaCowboys the high limit is a one time fuse, the thermostat, also on the canister is a bi-metal and technically resets
@@wayneloyacano249 ya I thought the high limit fuse was one time, so if I replaced it, it would just blow out again, I think it’s because of a temperature regulator or thermostat
Also I’m pretty sure I replaced the fuse and it didn’t fix the problem
@@CarolinaCowboys typically replacing both is recommended. If fuse keeps blowing it's usually related to airflow. Not just venting but also the lint filter. Those can get clogged, not long you scrape off but perminate clogging the screen. Very fine material of filter means dryer sheets and fabric softener are not recommend.
Help after removing the front panel you disconnected wires. That red and white on I just can’t get out. I try to pull in really hard. On the side and in the front. Was there a trick? I tried doing what you did 3:44 minutes in the video..
Most of those wires have squeeze clips on them, sometimes you need to squeeze on the sides and sometimes on the front or the back. Check out my other dryer videos I have other angles as well.
im buying a new dryer instead.. with my clumsiness, i will misplace screws or literally fk up this process ... LOL
You could also call LG and they can send a tech to your house to fix it
Great job and thanks...Gonna try to do mine too
Glad to help, good luck!
no wonder its a twenty min video...🥱
Yeah, several hours worth of work condensed down to 20min LOL
