Great video, but why the fReaK did Geese let go of Terry?
What's so great about Geese, is that he started out as a likable and understanding villain (similar to Magneto) and you could understand why he did the things he did, but he eventually got corrupted through his quest for power and became just like his father. He's a villain you love, but also hate at the same time.
Right. Just like how you would compare Iori to Venom due to thier Anti-hero personality.
He's not likable at all. He's a piece of crap individual
Wouldn’t say geese likable or understandable in any of his game appearances.
@@fightingmedialounge519well he's likeable as a villain and I can understand why he does what he does but I don't agree with it That's how that works.
@@isaiahhellems7901 what you're describing is him being entertaining and sensible. Similar sentiments, but ultimately different from being likeable and understandable. The fact that the OP compared geese magneto should have tiped you off.
I still remember when Fatal Fury premiered back in 91/92 and how NO one could defeat him in the arcades. Toughest for me of the bosses, worse than Bison or Khan.
Naw Khan wit the hammer was a crime he actually didn't show up till FF2 cuz of Krauser was number 1
One thing I've been noticing recently is the similarities between Terry and the characters/Italian actor Terance Hill, he's blond with blue eyes, is similar in height, 1.82m, has a good-natured way in his roles, and many movies are set in Miami/ Florida which Southtown is clearly inspired by, Terry's team at Kof its from Italy like Terance, it's possible he was one of his inspirations, I've never heard anyone talk about it. Do you think it's possible?
And Terry is short term for Terance.
He should make for a great boss for mafia game...he looks just like godfather...
That would make a cool and interesting story. Geese would have his very own story in another game. It's been done before with other cjaracters
He looks similar to Goda from Yakuza
5:42 K' : "Actually, NESTS had a part to play in Geese Howard's tragic life. They already had his father, on their payroll. They even secretly interfered with him, by drugging him--right under Tung Fu's nose! When he became Southtown P.D.'s comissioner, they kidnapped & cloned him, leading to the point, where Terry & Andy lost their father. The real Geese would however, escape & kill said clone in one of the KOF tournaments that occured......"
WTH?!
I've never heard this before, but the Fatal Fury games and KoF games are two separate timelines anyway.
Well sort a it's like Geese still alive prequel before he die cuz Rugal throw a Tournament it's like u said it's on time line but still a continue some of the lesser stories@@dreamthieving
Another great video, even, though I already know the entire story of geese I still watched it. I like how you piece together the images along with the clips from the Fatal Fury movies and games. Hopefully you do a part 2.
Fun Fact:
SNK at one point almost have Geese his own starring prequel in the Garou franchise. The only evidence is some artwork featuring a young Geese with a new and unused cast of fighters.
The greatest fighting game character ever created. There I said it.
After M.Bison (Vega in Japan )
I second that.
Who gives a shit if you said it or not? Who the fuck are you?
He one of the best but not HIMONTHEE
@@bullymaigure680Way better than Bison and much more badass. Bison has zero depth to him and is just evil for the sake of it. He’s basically an outlandish Saturday morning cartoon villain.
Nightmare Geese 👹👺
If you can put your hands on it, I advice you to read the Geese Howard Gaiden manga. It's well drawn and tell how Geese got into power.
You missed all the part about art of fighting's events and his battle vs Ryo and Robert
My favorite video game boss of all time, good move set , back story and theme song.
STILL WANT THE SAMURAI SPIRITS RPG/MANGA VID CONTINUATION.
"GEESE!" 😡
This was amazing 👏 now please do a video on Wolfgang Krauser 😊 thank u
Interesting lore, however, i know of a different lore where geese used to live with his father in his castle. i guess there might be multiple lores for geese.
I think that's the kof:destiny series timeline...I think
lol wut?? nah krauser wouldnt be ok with that. need sources bro...
Loved the vid!
Very good video! This fan approves
Loved the episode.
Are you planning a Mr.Big episode? Theres virtually no art of fighting lore vids out there except the main 4 (ryo, robert, takata, king)
great vid ,but i would of like to hear about his defeat by the invincible dragon ryo still tho great vid!!
Excellent!
Interesting, in some ways similar to Jojo's Bizarre Adventure with Dio, or perhaps more appropriately Tekken with the Mishima family... with a sprinkle of Streets of Rage with Mr. X and his children
Great as always @NeoGeoNow. Where did you dig up the opening image of Geese (starting at 0m03s)? Absolutely love that picture, and would love to get a source if I can!
Geese Howard is the Bowser of SNK
As others pointed out, you missed all of the AoF side of things except Mr. Big. You also are incorrect about Geese's motivations for killing Jeff, probably because of the anime.
Jeff and Geese did study Hakkyokuseiken together, but Geese was not primarily a fighter of this style. He was known for picking up things for a brief time before moving on. He didn't stop studying under Tung over the final technique, that was a pure invention of the anime. Jeff himself wasn't a practitioner of Hakkyokuseiken, he used a mixed style and just happened to also study Hakkyokuseiken along the way, very similar to Geese.
Geese ultimately killed Jeff because Jeff was getting involved in investigating Geese's criminal activities.
This is revealed at the end of Art of Fighting 2, and is a major reason you should have included it. Don't mix canon game info with anime info, the anime was not made by SNK and even though they liked it, it isn't 100% canon.
This will be redone. currently working on the full lore of Fatal fury as i just aquired some never translated official Fatal Fury lore books.
@@NeoGeoNow Excellent! I think aside from that AoF 2 stuff, your video was quite good. Glad to hear you're working on more!
Why did you reupload this? Did you have any copyright issues or did you add something new that I havent spot? :)
The original cool king of fighters style class skill culture Power calm relaxed focused dangerous influential they really got the design right on what a true bad guys show to speak should be and that boss theme is as legendary as it can get the various versions of it but nothing beats that original version
Considering that he's still alive in King of Fighters it'd be cool if they made him more like a Dr. Doom style anti-hero who is a net positive for South Town even while being a ruthless bastard overall.
Geese's and Wolfgang's father was an Austrian terrorist? Interesting to know... Greetings from Austria 🇱🇻
A lost child, striving for power to control everything and died for good.
geese respects krauser and knows not to cross him in adulthood
Wait...wasn't Geese 15-ish when he went to Germany to try to kill his father? Krauser was the one who was 9 years old at the time.
Fun fact: in the same year this happened, Ronette Sakazaki(Takuma's wife, Ryo and Yuri's mom)died.
Wasn't Geese responsible for her dying though
@@metal42 He was 15 years old
Question, what happened to lead to Rock Howard tho?
Sometime in 1989, Geese met a woman who had a very similar name to his mom, knocked her up and then just went on his business.
@@Ticketman99 Kinda weird that it took the mom naming convention to get him in the mood.
@@HolyHadou Maybe he just decided to act like his dad
@@Ticketman99 I hate it when that happens.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😎💯
I'm not fan of this game but I always see him evil I didn't play this game I play better fighting games like Street fighter mortal kombat and tekken
Narrator is so irritating, need a different one.
