Fisker has really tried fixing all issues they have faced and the 2.0 update has fixed the vast majority of them...the Ocean One is a fantastic EV and I really hope it stays for the foreseeable future.
Yeah major steps forward or better said 2.0 should have been the first software with a tide up update following up with hope we will get more updates now and long the still alive.
Man I wouldn't wanna be a guinea pig, with this car, we'll watch all your problems and hopefully by time we get ours next year, they will fix all the bugs

So I like to know how close Fiskar Ocean one is to become complette😊 1) Did you have problems with you windows? They can sometimes open by them self. 2) Suddenly messige that the brake system was defekt and the car had to go to service. 3) Driver pilot deactivate by it self? 4) only one key and buttons are unstable? 5) navigation TomTom only option? 6) driving status before you drive. like how much % state of charge is left from A to B. Sure happy to answer your questions, 1) Yes I had with the doggy windows there been water driping in and was fixed by Fisker anyhow I need to say they started to leak again - the standard windows a more tight up and normally there is no issue with. In winter my doors been frozen because huminity been in beetween. 2) Well in former software version the car was pushing forward when you been driving on a non smooth road and breaking in regen but this seems to be fixed now. I had once that the car died when I was breaking and onces it was shaking like hell but also a bit longer time ago. 3) Driver pilot? There is nothing on my car beside the crusies control what works as an assistence - the car been shifting in neutral some times just once while driving otherwise when the car stands still. 4) Yeap the key is and will be forever an Issue you just can open / close the car and the trunk nothing else and you need to replace the battery all weeks or all 3 weeks depends what batterie you use lithium is the best I figured out. 5) yeah the only option is tomtom 6) yes but is not correct it just an assumtion so you can´t take if as a liability it went to be a bit better as it been started but still somthing you can´t trust 7) oh my favourit topic because still like to figure out ^^ sorry for the sarcusmen here. Well what I had was at the beginning once 600km but in the meanwhile 350km as a max in winter time around 200km this is it more I would not bet on specially on the older builds first once they developed the cars further with newer builds. Patrick Another great video! I just received the 1.11 (2/2) update today. I can't wait to try some of the new features out. I too am loving my Sea Grass FOE. My wife and I like to drive in Fun mode. I'm looking forward to the future OTAs and hopefully, hill assist and 1-pedal driving will be in 2.0! I agree that @fiskerinc should include an app store. I would love to take advantage of my Plex Media Server for my own curated music and movies :) Quick question, have you been able to use the Auto High Beam feature? If so, how did you get it to engage? I tried what was written in the owner's manual but no go. Curious. Thanks again!
First off all thank you for the great comment and I still so jealous with the Sea Grass such a cool color. Fun mode is the best to use takes a bit more energy anyhow it´s simply the best driving from all ac/heat pump, how the padle reacts functions in the car just pretty cool 100% agree with booth of you there. Yes hill assist is normally working (but just like 2-3 sec. in fun mode but not always) this needs to get adjusted and also the one pedal drive I hered that booth belongs to each other somehow with the server that would really really cool imagine or adjust the backgroud with ownn pictures like on a smartphone. No the Auto High Beam is not working at the moment tried it also multiple times hope this will also come with updates soon. Thank you again.

Hi, it´s really good paint quality sure you should not drive into washing streets or washing carports better use handwash program but all good not scratches or something very well done and the looks is super beautiful

Yes as per Fisker all updates what will follow should work OTA now even when you not having the best connection it could be that you need to have some prepreparation to do as e.g. having the battery charged more then 30% not connected to a charger things like that but if needed they will inform the owners upfront.
you always welcome thank you for all the support and comments. Yes you can open the car via the app on your phone now and you have multiple drivers profiles what you can set up all works well. Also on the update center in the car you can check about are there updates to download etc. like in your phone pretty cool feature

Hi Marcus, at the moment this is set to TBD so I don´t know when this will be working with Bidirectional charging. A good group is Fisker at Reddit there is also some really cool people supporting eacht other and Fisker at itself is also active there now. And thanks a lot for your comment.

thanks for your comment. Yes the Fob is a bit cheap I need to say in my opinion I also have posted a pic here on the channel where you can have a look at it on a bigger size. Inside all is very cool and not cheap sure there is no leather inside or metal what other manufacture use. You can see the interior better also in the review the first video I uploaded - sorry wasn´t the best shot but I think there you see a lot about inside etc. there will be also more videos following to get a better impression.

Vielen Dank für Dein Kommentar. Ja ist wirklich gut das Fisker das ganze Thema ernst nimmt. Als ich damals meinen Fisker bekommen hatte sagten sie auch direkt Proaktiv das es ein paar Probleme noch gibt aber sie die Auslieferung nicht verzögern möchten. Klar kann ich mal das Display mit rein nehmen wie es reagiert, ich finde es jetzt nicht schlimm es verbessert sich ständig und so langsam wird es Meckern auf hohem Niveau gerade mit dem Ladestationen z.B. heute morgen hatte ich das ganze noch mal getestet und war ziemlich schnell das ganze. Welchen Tesla hast Du denn? Bin nur paar mal mit einem Tesla bis jetzt mitgefahren aber selbst noch nie am Steuer gesessen möchte auch mal den Y mit dem Fisker vergleichen denke das passt ganz gut da der Fisker auch ziemlich neu ist. Wann hast Du deinen reserviert? Wenn es weiterhin so schnell wie jetzt geht mit den Updates würde ich sagen das Du keine Probleme haben wirst (je nach dem wenn er dann kommt, natürlich) die können auch ziemlich gut die Autos auslesen ist beindruckend. Natürlich hast Du aber dann die Erfahrung mit dem Tesla und die haben halt einen enormen Vorsprung was die Daten angehen. Welchen hast Du denn bestellt?
Momentan ist es bei mir das Model Y, bestellt ist der Ocean One. Er soll wohl noch im September kommen. Beide sind sicher gut vergleichbar. Ich glaube an das bessere Fahrwerk des Ocean, finde das Aussehen und die zusätzlichen Feature hervorragend, die Seasalt-Ausstattung unheimlich attraktiv, muss aber mit Kofferraum und Software große Abstriche machen. Das ist mir klar. Die großen Fragen sind, ob der vermutlich viel höhere Verbrauch von später einmal besseren Assistenzsystemen ausgeglichen wird, wann diese zur Verfügung stehen und wann in Summe alle Kinderkrankheiten ausgemerzt sind. Vielleicht sollte ich bis dahin abwarten. Kannst du bitte noch auf den derzeitigen Verbrauch und das angesprochene Infotainment in einem Video eingehen? 👍
Model Y muss auch ziemlich gut sein. Bin leider nur den S gefahren und das bis jetzt nur als Beifahrer. Möchte mir aber gerne mal den Y holen um Ihn mal direkt mit Fisker zu vergleichen. Kofferraum habe ich schon ein Video abgedreht muss es nur noch schneiden das kommt dann mit allem was dazu gehört. Also ich bin heute von München nach Stuttgart zurück geflogen also wirklich immer topspeed und habe va. 30kwh gebraucht das finde ich nicht ganz s viel muss ich sagen der Fisker ist auch schwerer als der Tesla so viel ich weis. Normal hast Du einen verbrauch von ca. 18-25KWh bei normal betrieb je nach dem beim Fisker. Werde noch ein Test machen mit dem Verbrauch das habe ich länger auf dem Schirm muss ich nur zwischen die Arbeit auch mal quetchen und klar gehe ich auch mal gerne genau auf das Infotainment ein.

Could be to you correct and they limited it now cause I was last weekend on the 300kwh charger and it was also not charging on a decent speed, then I went to a 150KWH and it worked so may somehow they limited it right now I have send a request to Fisker to ask if they can let me know. Thanks for charing and given me the update, I´ll came back when I have been in the car

Thank you for your comment. To give you the excat number let me check later with the car and give you the answer normally is the FM 29 1.06 anyhow they use also in the car a bit different numbers what I need to get confirmed good question should have show it in the video already.

there is no torque vectoring! this requires mechanics that are not installed. Check the Fisker page, they do not say anything about torque vektoring, they just want to update some kind of slip control (standard feature in every car)
Hmm strange because the even road me that with the torque vectoring and it was annouced the spec itself is not really helpfull in so many ways but I will ask them again - thanks for the comment! If it would be just by software I would be pretty unhappy about honestely speaking.
@@gentlemensworld just look at their website, they never mention torque vectoring. They just write Smart Traction. Torque Vectoring can only be done if there are two separate electrical drives for left ans right wheel or if there is a way the differential mechanic can be influenced to distribute torque specific to one wheel. That's only possible with an additional electric drive in the differential. Fisker does not have either, it's really expensive. They only want to add software to always try to achieve the ideal slipe, and that's s basic every competitor already has.
Just checked again all interviews even Henrik mentioned it all the time also this year in interviews. Again thanks a lot I´ll check the homepage and try to get an offical statement what I can also may public on the channel from then again. Anyhow as mentioned I would be massiv unhappy if they not would have it caues they (all staff members etc.) talking about and I ask specific about and they told will be running with the update. TV is something HF has repeatedly sold as a feature standard on the One/Extreme and was supposed to be a part of the Performance package for the Ultra unlocked with an OTA. Please get a firm answer on this for both trim levels. If it’s no longer available, much like the off-road mode has been completely pulled from the performance package for the Ultra, I’ll likely eat the $1k and go elsewhere. This is a terrible way to treat all the early adopters not just the earliest, being One owners, that will can keep Fisker alive and help them get a strong foothold for long-term success.

you always welcome thank you for all the support and comments. Yes you can open the car via the app on your phone now and you have multiple drivers profiles what you can set up all works well. Also on the update center in the car you can check about are there updates to download etc. like in your phone pretty cool feature

Hi Marcus, at the moment this is set to TBD so I don´t know when this will be working with Bidirectional charging. A good group is Fisker at Reddit there is also some really cool people supporting eacht other and Fisker at itself is also active there now. And thanks a lot for your comment.

I've read reviews saying the key fob felt a little flimsy and cheaply made? Can you give your impressions of it?

thanks for your comment. Yes the Fob is a bit cheap I need to say in my opinion I also have posted a pic here on the channel where you can have a look at it on a bigger size. Inside all is very cool and not cheap sure there is no leather inside or metal what other manufacture use. You can see the interior better also in the review the first video I uploaded - sorry wasn´t the best shot but I think there you see a lot about inside etc. there will be also more videos following to get a better impression.

Ich fahre noch Tesla, habe ebenfalls eine Fisker Ocean One Bestellung laufen, bin aber sehr unschlüssig und leider recht skeptisch geworden.

Vielen Dank für Dein Kommentar. Ja ist wirklich gut das Fisker das ganze Thema ernst nimmt. Als ich damals meinen Fisker bekommen hatte sagten sie auch direkt Proaktiv das es ein paar Probleme noch gibt aber sie die Auslieferung nicht verzögern möchten. Klar kann ich mal das Display mit rein nehmen wie es reagiert, ich finde es jetzt nicht schlimm es verbessert sich ständig und so langsam wird es Meckern auf hohem Niveau gerade mit dem Ladestationen z.B. heute morgen hatte ich das ganze noch mal getestet und war ziemlich schnell das ganze. Welchen Tesla hast Du denn? Bin nur paar mal mit einem Tesla bis jetzt mitgefahren aber selbst noch nie am Steuer gesessen möchte auch mal den Y mit dem Fisker vergleichen denke das passt ganz gut da der Fisker auch ziemlich neu ist. Wann hast Du deinen reserviert? Wenn es weiterhin so schnell wie jetzt geht mit den Updates würde ich sagen das Du keine Probleme haben wirst (je nach dem wenn er dann kommt, natürlich) die können auch ziemlich gut die Autos auslesen ist beindruckend. Natürlich hast Du aber dann die Erfahrung mit dem Tesla und die haben halt einen enormen Vorsprung was die Daten angehen. Welchen hast Du denn bestellt?
Momentan ist es bei mir das Model Y, bestellt ist der Ocean One. Er soll wohl noch im September kommen.
Beide sind sicher gut vergleichbar. Ich glaube an das bessere Fahrwerk des Ocean, finde das Aussehen und die zusätzlichen Feature hervorragend, die Seasalt-Ausstattung unheimlich attraktiv, muss aber mit Kofferraum und Software große Abstriche machen. Das ist mir klar. Die großen Fragen sind, ob der vermutlich viel höhere Verbrauch von später einmal besseren Assistenzsystemen ausgeglichen wird, wann diese zur Verfügung stehen und wann in Summe alle Kinderkrankheiten ausgemerzt sind. Vielleicht sollte ich bis dahin abwarten.
Kannst du bitte noch auf den derzeitigen Verbrauch und das angesprochene Infotainment in einem Video eingehen? 👍
Model Y muss auch ziemlich gut sein. Bin leider nur den S gefahren und das bis jetzt nur als Beifahrer. Möchte mir aber gerne mal den Y holen um Ihn mal direkt mit Fisker zu vergleichen. Kofferraum habe ich schon ein Video abgedreht muss es nur noch schneiden das kommt dann mit allem was dazu gehört. Also ich bin heute von München nach Stuttgart zurück geflogen also wirklich immer topspeed und habe va. 30kwh gebraucht das finde ich nicht ganz s viel muss ich sagen der Fisker ist auch schwerer als der Tesla so viel ich weis. Normal hast Du einen verbrauch von ca. 18-25KWh bei normal betrieb je nach dem beim Fisker. Werde noch ein Test machen mit dem Verbrauch das habe ich länger auf dem Schirm muss ich nur zwischen die Arbeit auch mal quetchen und klar gehe ich auch mal gerne genau auf das Infotainment ein.

Thanks if you can confirming. I read somewhere that due to supply chain issue, Fisker can only get the 32 Amp hardware. If so, that’s disappointing. Thanks again
Could be to you correct and they limited it now cause I was last weekend on the 300kwh charger and it was also not charging on a decent speed, then I went to a 150KWH and it worked so may somehow they limited it right now I have send a request to Fisker to ask if they can let me know. Thanks for charing and given me the update, I´ll came back when I have been in the car

Thank you for your comment. To give you the excat number let me check later with the car and give you the answer normally is the FM 29 1.06 anyhow they use also in the car a bit different numbers what I need to get confirmed good question should have show it in the video already.

Got now the first OTA there is another to come it was the 1.08 and should them been the 1.10
there is no torque vectoring! this requires mechanics that are not installed. Check the Fisker page, they do not say anything about torque vektoring, they just want to update some kind of slip control (standard feature in every car)
Hmm strange because the even road me that with the torque vectoring and it was annouced the spec itself is not really helpfull in so many ways but I will ask them again - thanks for the comment! If it would be just by software I would be pretty unhappy about honestely speaking.
@@gentlemensworld just look at their website, they never mention torque vectoring. They just write Smart Traction. Torque Vectoring can only be done if there are two separate electrical drives for left ans right wheel or if there is a way the differential mechanic can be influenced to distribute torque specific to one wheel. That's only possible with an additional electric drive in the differential. Fisker does not have either, it's really expensive. They only want to add software to always try to achieve the ideal slipe, and that's s basic every competitor already has.
Just checked again all interviews even Henrik mentioned it all the time also this year in interviews. Again thanks a lot I´ll check the homepage and try to get an offical statement what I can also may public on the channel from then again. Anyhow as mentioned I would be massiv unhappy if they not would have it caues they (all staff members etc.) talking about and I ask specific about and they told will be running with the update. TV is something HF has repeatedly sold as a feature standard on the One/Extreme and was supposed to be a part of the Performance package for the Ultra unlocked with an OTA. Please get a firm answer on this for both trim levels. If it’s no longer available, much like the off-road mode has been completely pulled from the performance package for the Ultra, I’ll likely eat the $1k and go elsewhere. This is a terrible way to treat all the early adopters not just the earliest, being One owners, that will can keep Fisker alive and help them get a strong foothold for long-term success.
