The game is gonna is gonna update 26 april and the game saves won’t be compatible with the new version. From what I have heard. It will be interesting to see all the new things added.
What new things he only added some fixes ect and one new update to the market supply system.
The game needs fortifications, forts and castles.
So we could build our little castles first and expand with surrounding buildings and walls.
And then later the farmlands and later medieval city.
That's how organic old cities were born.
Its not even released yet. This will come im sure
It needs more connection to your actual lord. This game will run out of steam shortly after release with player count im assured. Why they did not add a dynasty system with ALL the time to prepare what has been finished for years now. is a joke. Just another dev trying to get rich with the path of least resistance... Typical dev playbook.
@@drewboz5954 It can't be possible that you are being serious. Is this a bait for angry people? Do you not understand the original concept of the game?
@drewboz5954 if you are serious, you must be the most miserable person in the world. If your joking, you went really far for the sarcasm.
These have been confirmed and will be added at some point
"I've been playing for 15 years" chill out dude it just came out!😂
*New Technology shows up*
CV: I have 8 years of experience on this shit
I don't really know if this is sarcasm or not
@@deevanhorne1983 it was a joke
@@prestonyannotti7661 Oh, sorry then.
If cavalry ever gets implemented, I hope and pray that it will be cavalry as in Battle for Middle Earth, and not cavalry as in Age of Empires 4.
I’ve found AoE4 to be pretty good. What are your problems with it?
Ugh, don’t remind me about AoE 4. What a let down that title was :/
@@atharvawaikar9730 People think that cavalry horses smashes through people like a Range Rover in a school zone and the horses are as heavy as M1 Abrams tanks
@@JABelmsHave you ever seen a horse? It will pretty much smash through you like a range rover
3:22 this "call to arms" shot of everybody running to the front is amazing. Imma love this game for yeeeears
Awesome video of the end. Ty for sharing man!
Can't wait!!!
Great video - Thrilling to see the end 🎉
can't wait til friday 😢
Great play-by-play. 👍
How do they burn the buildings down? do they trow torches or are the buildings just start burning?
You should try bellwright next. I know you'll love it. Definitely your kind of game. Its a better medieval dynasty with combat!
The only recommendation I need ☝🏻
Congrats
Getting memories of Myth watching the battles
Not long rubbing hands. I hope they continue developing and increasing its scope.
I think you can give food to church to get influence, done from taxes window.
put the Tide up and you have it in no time
from what i see archers definitely need a buff at ;east on lightly armored troops
Are you also gonna try Bellwright it comes out around the same time and It kinda looks like the same game, but it's 3rd person the whole time. it's like valheim, mixed with dynasty. idk about comparing it to mount and blade, but that's what I saw in another review. I think it dropped for early access today actual.
Resonant, did you play for an extensive amount of time? Or is the game that short atm?
Keep in mind this dude plays games for a living.... For those of us playing an hour or so every other day or so, we can get tons of time out of stuff like this.
Stronghold 3: 2024
This game has endless possibilities,
Imagine going through all of that and then losing the last battle
lol. the ai does seem very easy in all the videos i watch. i mean, he killed 1700 but only lost less than 80? Thats crazy easy.
1:11 Why do you only have 24 retinue in chain mail and haven't updated their armour to plate in manor?!
I wonder why games like this don't have long retention. It must be because a "session" is relatively long. If you start a new game it's a big time commitment. Compared to something like Rise of Nations where you can hop on for a game and come back whenever
imagine a total war level of battle in a city simulator like this.
How many hours of playtime did it take for you to reach the end-game?
I think that hugeley depends on how hard you go after the endgoal, but from what Ive seen around 15-25h
i hope they balance the battles. less than 100 soldiers dead and you killed 1700? Thats way to easy. i hope they have a realistic difficulty like bannerlord. I dont like games where your unit always wins in a 1to1 equal fight
I’m eating pizza rn
nice bro
Nice
imagine after release the game got UE 5 update, and everything got way better 🤭, too good to be true
how much will it cost at launch?
we dont know, we will se the prices on launch
not many which i'm sure doesnt state much for anyone until release. This will feel very repetitive very shortly after release due to lack of functionality with a dynasty or your "lord" you're supposed to be playing as. It's just an overhyped glorified, good looking Total war.... with a dev who wants to get rich off the presentation alone...
@@drewboz5954 i hope not sad really

OK fine I'll watch it 😒😒😒😒 ....omg I need it so bad 😩
You havent though have you?
If anyone's radically obsessed with hardcore Medieval warfare and society I strongly recommend Schwerpunkt's videos series
Would be nice if they would add optional PVP in a sense that it works like in elden ring, invading, if you have pvp on, other players can invade you with their army and get resources quickly if they win and have accsess to the storage areas. I see unreal potential for this sort of thing happening in the game, would be cool to fight other players army but also keep it optional so if some people want nothing to do with pvp they dont have to.
Can't wait to get this on my PC and Reshade it to make it look so much better and play at 4k max everything 7800X3D, 4090
What a weird flex. No one cares about your pc dude.
@@michaelh878
You did.
You made comment and thus, you care.
Thank You Care Bear.
I don't know, somehow I suddenly got mixed feelings... I was hoping for a more intricate simulation of life of a medieval community, where battles would come as one aspect, or complement... but another copy of Total War, just slightly more realistic on the battlefield...
it is that, This video is just the battles at the end though
Then you're out of the loop. This game, as clearly emphasized by the dev, is a city-building management game at its core while the combat aspect only comes secondary. In fact, more people are actually concerned that the game is being treated as a "total war" replacement when clearly it is not. the dev is concerned that this game may not sit well with those who prefer more of the combat aspect since he wants this to focus more on like what you said "an intricate simulation of life of a medieval community"
@KMDhighlights Definitely hope so! Just it made me concerned when Resonant mentioned that his town didn't even require paying any special attention, and he could focus almost exclusively on combat...
@@miceliusbeverus6447 Its still early access. Not like its a full release.
One dude project and indie team make a copy of total war that has better gameplay better machanic better graphics better animation have synth kill but soldier not lock in 1v1 each other also have a tactical retreat but total war don't know how to make a game like this for 18 years
14 seconds ago
when are you gonna start shitting on this game and start hyping up another?
after seeing people end game status and burn out after just several days of pre release advertising.... I already feel burned out. I'll will be waiting for Norland, as this is just a slightly glorified total war with way too much over hype. All the devs cared about for this game was release day sales. 5 years plus from what ive seen.... Yea this game was finished along time ago, just not satisfied with the amount of wishlist sale projections.... until now. 30 days after release. you people wont even see more than 1-2k playing...
Lol buddy of course you feel burnt out, your goofy as is raging over this whole comment section because you’re mad that the devs haven’t built the game to your exact specifications
Call it what you will. I remember living in a world where it was ok to agree to disagree.
@@drewboz5954 and no one asked for your opinion.
@@soulblade3291 Welcome to the internet! This must be your first time, Cause right back atcha!
"just a slightly glorified total war". It is nothing like total war aside from the small battles, which also do not play exactly like total war. Finished a long time ago? Really? This version clearly has more content than the version 2 years ago and there is a plethora of things the dev is working on and may have teased already that is also not in this version. What are you smoking?
It might not be asthma it might be allergies from running through all those verdant fields🤔
People need to stop getting their hopes up. The devs already came out and said that this game is a city builder first with the occasional fight from time to time. Its not a total war or age of empires game.
……I’m here for a city builder. Didn’t even know they’d be adding a decently-fleshed-out combat system.
