Omg passing down heirloom jewellery!! A parent making a "something blue" for their engaged kids! Twins having twin jewellery that they grow up with. Vlad's lost bride's wedding ring. Mediums selling crystals and doing "crystal reads" for people. My brain is going to explode.

The bamboo bonsai! Incredibly useful for a base game object and needs an update. Now this is the kind of stuff pack the Sims team should be creating. Something that expands an already existing feature in a meaningful way
I'm sooo excited, it gives me Paranormal vibes and I LOVE that pack! I never had the jewellery store content in the Sims 3 but I really liked the jem cutting machine from Supernatural
It's interesting. I can't remember if SPs get a pre pack update ir not, but I hop they'll add dig sites in other worlds. Would be even better pack integration.

That fancy jeweler's bench makes me so happy and all the tools for the wall is making my jeweler's heart sing.
But watching them use the jewelers bench standing up is so dumb. Like we 100% sit and even sit lower then normally so the bench pin (the little wood thing that sticks out on the front) is above your elbow hight so you aren't bending over when sawing!
But even so this looks like such a cool pack!
You are the first person I thought of today when I heard the news, Mollie! So looking forward to this! Especially if we are able to sell on plopsy! You said something that really resonated with me: All new packs with worlds should have collectibles from base game! The Curator is my most picked first aspiration, for that collector trait. San Sequoia really disappointed on the collectibles. Shall we impose New World Rules: Must have base game collectibles plus at least one new collectible, at least one new harvestable, and new landscaping assets not just in debug. Wouldn't hurt to add one new wild animal in each world either! These are WORLDS, good gosh, make them lively! Gauranteed to please fans so what's the trouble? Rant Over, Let's go make rings! I feel a trip to a Gem Show coming on.
I use the bracelet making kit from growing together with every single sim. It gives adult sims mechanical skill so fast if you just spam make bracelets. I hope jewelry making is the same.
I want to be able to create my own powered up eyeball ring.
I really like the overall vibes of the pack so far with kind of a RoM/Paranormal theme witch(pun) is right up my alley. I am wondering if they will move plopsy to BG or even a sale table that isn't hidden in the gallery because selling from a sims inventory is so anti-climatic. I also wonder if this pack will override the "refine crystal interaction" or if the new gems can be slotted in either that weird mind control crown in get famous or the idols in jungle adventure or if moonstone has any effect on werewolves like decreasing fury. Probably no to all the above, but still nice to add more utility to a base game friendly hobby.
I too make jewelry in real life and I am sooooo excited to get this pack!!!!! My head is spinning at the possibilities!
Mollie, maybe that summoning the Grim Reaper ability will come in handy later on if they create a Grim Reaper pack? 🤷♀
I know they are most likely not gonna do it but I wish my spell casters could enchant the jewerly, like put the fire spell on a ring and if they wear it they become more likely to start a fire
I really appreciate this video. I watched the trailer and had no idea what was happening and this video actually has me legit excited.
I’ve also been dabbling in jewellery making myself as a hobby (love making rings too @EnglishSimmer). I’m so excited for this pack. Love making my Sims collect crystals. This will also mean more ways to make money.

@@EnglishSimmer Mostly easy ring designs I've been making lots of wire wrap spiral and some natural gemstone rings. I've noticed you love your rings but never even thought you might've made them yourself.💍
I haven't put the crystals on display in my gameplay in a while but how the smaller crystals are displayed in games differs depending on the type of surface you're putting them on. For example, if you place the small ones on general surfaces, no change, but if placed on display surfaces, they look like what you're seeing on the shelves, mounted on a base.
from what i'm seeing in my game i can't recreate this, i'm seeing it with metals but not the small crystals
I would love to see if any of the occults have special options or uses with the crystals/charging them/making jewelry/etc!
I am so looking forward to a new hobby for my sims.
In terms of pack integration I would like to know if there is any integration with jungle adventure cutting gems. On the archeology table we can cut gems for the relics, can they be used for jewels as well. I am also hoping to be able to see jewelry un plopsy and in retail stores.
I am happy we can summon the grim reaper. Now we can finally talk to him (needed for the grilled cheese aspiration) without killing a sim.
I'm flipping excited for this! I was worried they were just going to make Home Chef Hussle and then abandon Stuff Packs again, but it seems like they're sticking to it.

19:55 OMG, this so much! I feel like with all the newer worlds since Highscool Years, they've gotten very frugal with harvestables/collectibles. Even Cottage Living had shockingly little wild harvestables, especially in the country & woodland areas. A few mushrooms and dig spots, sure, but overall? Not comparible to Willow Creek or Oasis Springs in any capacity (I wish I would like these worlds better, but after so many years, I cannot really stand them anymore).
Yes we do need new harvestables in all worlds ! There arent any new plants or frogs neither, a crystal frog would have been cool ! 😂 a mining skill would have been cool if we got more metal types too
Sims 2 Freetime is now Sims 4 Stuff Packs. At least we'll have more hobbies to play hehe
This pack has some really nice content. I like the idea that we can craft jewelry and I like the idea of charging crystals affect skill building. I can't wait to put crystal trees all over my worlds.
Looks like a nice pack, but I have a question. How will the propose interaction work now? Usually, when a sim is proposed to, the ring interaction disappears after the animation is over. The only way this would work is if they changed the coding of the base game to accept the custom rings so that now they will stay on. Not sure if they even changed anything which will result in the custom ring disappearing. Maybe it'll end up in the sims family/personal inventory, then you have to switch sims so that they can put the ring on, which is just insane.
i think they’ve probably changed it so the ring that stays on is the one you propose with but ofc i’ll test this out when i get the pack

I feel like zodiacs would work really bad on long season settings. They'd have to separate it entirely from seasons and tie it to moon phase, or every teen in your high school would be the same sign.
tbf they’ve never been that in depth in sims like it doesn’t actually depend on birthdays or moon phases etc. usually just you pick in cas and then in some games it adds or subtracts from your compatibility etc. it’d be cool to have them affect the way sims get on and kind of traits they’re likely to have but that’s pretty much all they ever do in sims

The fragmented metal display isn’t new when you put small metals on some shelves/ and or displays such as the omibul's omnibus bookshelf display from get to work the metals change to look like this. Thou this is only on some shelves.
oh that’s weird! i thought they’d be fragments from cutting as i’ve clearly never had them on a shelf that does that but cool to know!!

Not this video being the way I found out there was an update to stop my lashes from conflicting with rings. Will I ever get around to fixing it? Probably not 😂
okay SO i did more research bc people have always just told me in twitch chat but there’s a second version, that’s mapped where glasses are so if you’d prefer a sim to wear rings but no glasses you can use those instead. but NOT glasses and rings at the same time, ❌not allowed!!!❌

This would be cool except 90% of the time when digging the "crystals" or for metals, you get a stupid time capsule.
I think there are plenty of hobbies in the game.
and it’s great that you’re satisfied with the amount of hobbies in the game but a lot of us get tired with the repetition of the small amount of hobbies available or just want a wider variety in types of hobbies
and also a hobby system to back it up, where your skills are affected by talents/non-talent, skills gain faster if you have talents etc
They haven't even fixed the last pack and you all still get excited over some shiny stuff. Junk, fix your game EA.
This will be interesting but none of the jewellery looks pretty. I hope they’ve made some nice stuff otherwise what’s the point?
