I’m so excited to do a legacy save where my starting sim makes and enchants a necklace and then it’ll get passed down but not worn for a few generations until I find a descendant I like and let them wear it to discover it’s enchantments - maybe weaving in some ROM too?!
Maybe this is why the Sims team added “visit the Forgotten Grotto” in the 24 challenge, to get people to know this secret world before the SP released!

You missed the effect of a crystal (Jet) at 20:10 that's at the bottom right. You can summon the Grim Reaper with it, that's why Grim's in the trailer

it’s because they go with what’s trendy in real life. crystals/witchcraft has been trending since early 2022 and so they figure they could maybe get some new players interested this way while also pleasing ppl who already play

I love how Stuff Packs never really left us, when you consider the fact that Kits are labeled under “SP” in the game files instead of “K.”

i hope its somewhat similar to growing together's friendship bracelets where your sim can just wear the jewellery from live mode but also has it in locked cas assets too,,, that would be SO cool.
this is crazy cause I have 2 spellcaster sims and one of them is into archeology and has a store where she sells everything she finds through the skill so this pack is perfect.
archeology is not the study of rocks. you either meant Petrology.
As someone who has a degree in metalworking and jewelry, I greatly appreciate the amount of research that went into this stuff pack! The jeweler's bench is spot on, the tools on the wall as well as the placeable clutter items with more tools are so perfect! I cannot wait for this pack!!!!

I used to be a bench jeweler and I am LOVING this!! The jeweler's bench is pretty accurate to what you'd use in real life. It has a bench pin and flex shaft and everything! And I love the jeweler's saw hanging with the other tools 🥺 Really excited for the game play but tbh I'm just most excited to see my niche art skill in the sims

Honestly the jeweler's bench is a odd combo of those older type of desks and an actual jewelers bench and I'm here for it.
I have a Witch/Vampire couple as my main family I play, and this SP would be PERFECT them! My Vampire needs to make beautiful jewelry for his Witchy Wife. That crystal tree would look perfect in their garden. The decor is EXACTLY their aesthetic. Its too early to tell, but this might be my new favorite stuff pack!
Time for spellcasters and scientists to clone the gems and metals for all their crafting needs. lol
I am OBSESSED. I collect rocks, minerals, and crystals and have since I was very young. Finally having something that matches my asthetic more is so exciting. ❤
This is literally so awesome- only thing I first go to is how lots of clothes and hairs normally glitch/hide jewelry://
It's mainly only the older clothes that hide jewellery (as in base game, get to work, etc.) I've never had jewellery glitch with any of the new clothing unless it's CC which The Sims team can't really fix themselves
I'm guessing the origin of this pack is the same/ similar as the Pastel Pop kit with Plumbella- which I LOVE! Ie: The Sims team reached out to a creator and said "Hey, we want you to design a lot/pack. What do you want to do?"
Because this feels like an idea that is obvious to someone who plays a lot but for some reason isn't to the Sims Team. But because of that it's relatively low effort & high reward!
Like, utilizing existing game items and enhancing them to have more functionality/ purpose, as well as bringing in some of the game play from previous games, but building more on top of that is EXACTLY what a lot of the players want!
And being able to design a pack that not only adds game play but stylistically matches with existing content AND giving us much needed options for swatches (like muted wall patterns) are all things that really boost the gameplay for people who have been playing for a long time!

It doesn't look like they're actually using the bench pin based on the animations we see (the v-shaped wood, you use it for sawing and holding the piece while you work) but it's so cool that they even knew to include it!
Y'know, I wasn't expecting that much when they announced this pack, but seeing the trailer I'm actually really excited! I love crystals and moons and I've even done metalsmithing/jewelry making as a hobby so this pack is perfect for me!
the whole Grim thing is there because the black crystal (Jet) can be used to summon him (it's shown in the trailer, I think your facecam is covering it in the video)

It was visible on screen but every time it came up, she was busy talking about something else (like the crystal tree or the low res textures on the jewelry) and missed it

I have an original character who does woodworking and jewelry making and I was always hoping eventually the sims would add jewelry making so I could make him do it in game and I'm SO HYPEDDDD and this would be such a fun addition to the Mint gen of the Not So Berry!! Imagine a scientist Sim collecting all the metals and gemstones and their partner cutting them and making jewelry with them like ugh I'm obsessed and the furniture albeit not abundant looks SO GOOD I CANT WAIT TO HAVE THIS PACK

I was so excited when I saw the trailer, it's witchy and crafty. The style is something I look forward to playing with. This is a pack I'll 100% buy when i get the chance
I am so hyped for this pack actually, because I started an occult generation challenge and started with a vampire starter heir, married a spellcaster, and had a spellcaster baby, so this will definitely be a must need to do with my new heir!

I am beyond excited for this new Stuff Pack!! Being a jewelry creator in real life, this will be right up my alley. Granted, I now do more beaded jewelry as opposed to metal smithing, I have in the past done some. But since I do not have a metal smithing studio any more, I will have to get my love for it through this new Pack. I am DEFINITELY getting it and I suspect that a lot of my Sims will be making jewelry and cutting gems.
Full fledged witch/spellcaster with realm of magic, Herbalism skill from outdoor retreat, paranormal stuff, and now gemology...

The clothes and build items really gel with the Realm of Magic aesthetic which I love. I love when they make new content that works nicely with other existing packs that can share aesthetics and themes.

This is actually so cool. The fact that there's so many variations in the jewellery and the additional gameplay with charing, selling etc is really great. Also, the idea of sims making a ring to propose with is so sweet and I wonder if you could keep it in your household inventory after they pass and then the next generation can use it

I'm really looking forward to this pack, especially as an occult girly! I've been looking for ways to spice up my ga.eolay with them and this seems like the perfect addition.
I’m OBSESSED with the vision I have in my head: an earthly fairytale looking cottage in one of the more “forest-y” worlds. A semi witchy looking sim that collects gems and creates jewelry from it. Very homebody kind of personality, maybe a gardener and possibly even crafts as well. Like I’m just picturing someone who never needs to leave their home because they have everything around them.

5:41 I think this will depend on how much of the jewelry is actually in cas because at the very least we know the custom crafted ones are physical items as they can be placed in the charging grid thing
I am so excited for this! I’m the kind of person who only really builds houses and doesn’t really play much, so I would’ve bought this for the cool whimsigoth-y furniture alone which is my style irl. But I do actually feel inspired to get some occult sims and build a house in the witch world where my sims collect all the crystals and make jewellery now.
It looks fun! On a totally unrelated note - I hope someday we get new high heels. We are seriously lacking in CAS options, even if you have all the packs!

I really hope they tune the frequency of the rocks giving time capsules instead of metals/gems because finding elements for mint NSB was rough, and I can imagine it being hard to keep enough supplies of different collectibles
