Credit Warp in Pokémon Diamond / Pearl

- I'm back again to show off glitches in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl! The voidglitch is cool, but today you will rethink the possibilities of glitching in generation 4 for sure!
Using ASLR scriptcalling, a glitch that allows us to load overlays and scripts that are not defined within a map's runtime table, you can break the graphics of your game, call some scripts that read from garbage data and jump straigth to the credits.
The idea is simple, the game is reading from RAM that is not controllable, but ds systems have a built in RAM randomiser known as ASLR. Using the voidglitch you get a Menu that can acces this RAM and then can load scripts or overlays to your likings.
This might one day be useful for Arbitrary Code Execution, if a script lands somewhere in controllable/manipulable RAM.

Bro hope you remember me. Glad to see you are still doing great. I think you should address some FR/LG or R/S/E glitches. I know you really adore gen 4 but you have mastered it. You're a smart guy. You can literally break the pokemon internet if you can figure out how to get mew or deoxys. Then again, it might literally be impossible cuz nobody all these years later can't do it. I'm just a guy with a dream that wants mew and deoxys haha
It's already possible using emerald's pomeg glitch, giving ace. Metarkrai wrote multiple methods of getting them

Have you tried going to route 224 to see if you could get the Shaymin event cutscene with Professor Oak to trigger using this method?
You can trigger it, but the issue is that there are no npcs to follow up on the cutscene and the game crashes. Using some specific stipulations you can play the first half of the cutscene by using npcs from another map, but the cutscene warps you at the end to the real spot. This results in there being no npcs anyway and crash

There's an RNG manipulation trick used in speedrunning; could that be used to more easily get the scripts you want?

Why do you need a gen 3 game again? And will this work on an emulator like desmume?
Could we use this glitch to reactivate any cutscenes we want???
Does desmume treat the console as a ds or dsi?

looking at the results we have right now, besides credit warping or changing your playername it might be possible to get invalid scripts that land in ram, if that's possible then we'd be able to do essentially anything. We're not close to that yet tho haha :p
How do you get the bad egg?
the game is just reading unrelated ramvalues as pokémondata, obviously this data didn't correspond to any pokémon so it became a bad egg

yeah I own all the languages of the game haha :D you can do that one on other versions too but it requires you to do more setup and I was too lazy :p

@@paifu. both should work, I tested on lite but I think they influence ASLR in the same way so it shouldn't matter
