CRUSHING LAKE CHAMPLAIN LARGEMOUTH (FISH AFTER FISH!!!)

With bass being closed in Quebec, the boys and I decided to make an early season run down to beautiful Lake Champlain in search of some Donkeys. With very little experience on this body of water we went to fish what looked right, found warm water in the back of a bay and managed to have a hell of a day!!! With tons of fish caught, we absolutely hammered the pre spawn largies on a wide range of techniques!

I live in Texas and we have some really good lakes but for my money Lake Champlain beats them all. Stayed at Alburg RV for months at a time three years in a row. I really got to know the upper part of the lake up to the border buoy. Biggest fish I ever caught was trying to spawn between the bank and one of those barges. Close to 8 lbs I would guess. I had days when I caught over a dozen in the 5 lb range. I could sure tell you some tales. Couple of meth heads snuck up on me and my wife when we were fishing the trestle. Scared the shit out of us.
