The Shoei open faced helmets are brilliant as are the halcyon goggles. I have about 10 helmets now, a mix of brands, but I find Biltwell excellent value for money. I have just received a Biltwell Gringo ECE so will do a comparison with the DOT next week.
PS. I have just compared a Gringo DOT with a ECE model. The Shell size is the same but the additional lining makes it much smaller so sizes are at least a size out on Gringo and Gringo S. The Lanesplitter is about right as it was ECE from the start.
Hi Jack. I considered a Biltwell lid when i got my bell 500, but great news, my Mrs has the same size head as me so i might treat her to one so i can wear it !! 😉
@@JackBonhamMotorcycles not sure to be honest, as she knows little about riding and the gear you need she will be easily influenced. I might let her chose the colour! They do look good with the bubble visor though. Proper retro look in my opinion.
Never really considered a Biltwell helmet, thanks for sharing. I use a Shoei open face helmet with Halcyon goggles as worn by RAF pilots during WW2!!

Hi Darren just be careful of the sizing I normally have a large and had to go up one on the updated ECE model because of the extra padding
@@JackBonhamMotorcycles yes you did mention that on the video. Thanks. 🙏🏼
Hello can i know what goggles do you have on the video please?
