I loved this show, as a kid, because it was one of the shows that my family all watched together. Eating dinner in front of the TV was not a usual thing in my house. We always ate at the kitchen table. No TV allowed. Except for this show! We laughed together, and I will always have fond memories of that!
yess same!! for real!
Too bad that will never be another show like this again.
This is because there aren't enough people of color, main cast is all white, have on Anderson's character isn't transgender, none of the sons are gay, there wasn't the daughter, and the wife isn't the lead character 🙄
Similar here. I was the youngest child, my 4 year older brother and my cousin slightly older than him. We were like the 3 boys. My parents felt very similar to Tim and Pat. It was like watching an alt version of our family on TV. So memorable
Omg
..... same
Same here!
This was one of the few things my family watched together as a kid before they divorced. And the last thing I watched with my Father before he passed from cancer, it is precious to me in so many ways. I love that the critics didn't get it at award shows but it meant so much to us. Still fall asleep to it almost every night 🏆
❤ From Detroit
Tim Allen was such a a huge part of my childhood growing up in the 90s. I used to watch Home Improvement with my family as a kid, watching it now in my 30s as a parent makes it seem like a different experience since I can relate to the parental struggles. Lol. My brother and dad have both passed away and this show brings back so many memories of us watching it. ❤️
TGIF - When TV was wholesome, clever, funny with plenty of family lessons. So good.
One of the best shows created in the 90s. Sucha classic
Jonathan Taylor Thomas was the reason I bought my first Tiger Beat Magazine. He was on the front cover. My fav.show as a pre-teen/teenager.
I had jtt posters all over my walls! 🤣
@jesmichel same!
Sad that his career took a turn for the worst
This is my favorite show of all time. I never tire of still watching it!!!
I've been watching home improvement recently and its still just as funny as it was then. Its just a trip watching it at 43 vs when i was a kid in the 90s lol. I'm glad I found this channel thank you for uploading this.
Agreed
Watching it now in our 40's, you catch the jokes meant for mom and dad
@@LynxStarAuto it's what makes is so great to watch now.
I'm 43 too! We're in the 4th season, watching as a family. My husband and I both grew up on this show. It's just good fun. ❤
Patricia Richardson is such a boss! Good for her for knowing her worth and standing up for herself and her character.
@shysunrise, I 💯% agree!
She’s awesome!
She wasn't worth as much as Tim.
I bought the complete series on DVD not too long ago, and just finished watching the eighth season. So good, all the way through. And now I can watch any or all of it any time I want. Great show!
It's on Disney plus
@@sweetartz4411you dont own it if it’s on disney plus. They can take it away any time too
Oh the nostalgia! It brought me back to childhood with my JTT crush. My dear family friend, Brad Renfro, played Huck opposite his Tom and lost his battle with addiction years ago. 😢 The 90s will forever be some of the best memories of my life.
Brad was amazing actor! 😢😢
I loved him in Bully.
@@tiffy3787Me too!!
Brad was such a tragic loss. The Client, Apt Pupil, Bully and many others all featured incredible performances by him.
@@tiffy3787Deuces Wild was my fav
Yay, new (old) episode!! Grew up watching Home Improvement. Thank you for doing what you do and bringing back so many memories for a lot of us!
Yeah, didn't I see this one already?
Watched this as a kid about Brad’s age and now I’m watching it as Tim’s age. Best show ever. Streaming free on RokuTv
This takes me back to a young teenager, looking forward to the next episode each week. I think Heidi was my first crush lol. My favorite episode is when Tim had the lawn mower race against Bob Villa. He said he got 8 speeding tickets and mowed 30 yards. 😂😂
Me and my grandfather watched this show all the time. I miss these days. Everything was different. I wish they made like a 2hr movie of the Taylor’s now.
It was my senior year of high school & I remember the first time I heard Wilson's voice I went "Is that the voice of Herman Munster?" My career Army stepdad & I would watch it together & the first time Tim Allen did the grunt noise thing mom just glared at me, then rolled her eyes & smirked as she tossed a Snickers at me & went "Just like your grandfather" 🤭
I thought the same thing! And he even kind of resembles him with the long face.
And I will never sell drugs to an undercover police officer again LOL
All I remember of Home Improvement on ABC, as a literal preschooler, was that it was this really big deal. I watched the reruns starting at 14 years old. I can see why it was such a big deal in the 90s: it was a funny and sweet show with a huge heart.
Best sitcom of ALL TIME! It will always be my favorite show. I would love to see a movie reunion with everyone, and even a Wilson cameo of sorts. That would be the best movie of all time. :)
Sadly, Wilson passed away in 2003.
When I was younger, I used love watching this show on the Disney Channel just before bedtime and continued to watch the series into adulthood when I started working.
It was really sad to learn about Wilson passing away.
Loved this show. Truly a family classic.
this channel is my favorite thing of 2024
Ok...
Home Improvement was the first sitcom I saw as a kid. Tim Allen is one of my favorite comedians.
Tim Allen was also a criminal too. LOL. Look it up.
@@user-be7tc2bd6e we know lol. they couldn't stop talking about how he was a former drug dealer in the documentary.
I enjoyed this show soo much! What an incredibly wholesome watch. It literally had everything you wanted to enjoy with the family! Thank you to all that participated in Home Improvement!
Thx for uploading this!

Wholesome 90s family sitcoms were the best part of growing up… I miss it so much.
I love this show as a kid and my whole family watched it.
Great story, and I love home improvement shows and the characters. ❤❤❤
And I cried for this show again!
I like this channel! Please upload another classic episodes of E True Hollywood Story from the 90s and 2000s :)
Love the show! It's one of three I'm watching once a year to go to sleep (but only the first four seasons).
A 16-year-old with a 32-year-old? Isn't that illegal? How did she not get prosecuted or something? Even if the parents thought she was 25, that's just as bad...
The age of consent in most states is 16 it's just frowned upon
It’s 16 in SC still
Sadly, most states have loopholes for things like that. In many cases it is left up to a random judge to decide if a child(no matter the age) is eligible to marry(legally allowing sexual assault against a minor) an adult. Some states both parents and a judge have to be in agreement. It’s really disgusting and disappointing. The laws against raping animals is even less restrictive access the globe but even in the us. There really is a group of individuals that are interested in these atrocities against the innocent, a group big enough to keep these laws largely hidden from the public and protected by all the crazy loopholes. Don’t take my word for it though, please look into the laws and the history behind them.
Prob my fav show ever.
Good old days
That was really really good, I still watch the reruns.
I loved home improvement!! Such a great show!! The cast was great!! Love Tim Allen always!! Great memory!! Great video!! Loved hearing about the cast members!! I love watching reruns!! One of the best shows ever!!! ❤️❤️💜💜🦋🦋💖💖🥰🥰💕💕🌺🌺💙💙💜💜💜. RIP Wilson!!! He was a great man!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙💙💙💙
Yeah..he was a drug dealer..
1:07:02 That was so Sweet & Adorable of him. Jonathan is a Living Doll. He’s too Cute for words 💕
This show is timeless! I would love to see the Taylor’s today!
Because my father had died when I was quite young, I enjoyed watching both Tim Allen and Robin Williams as TV dad's. I was imagining that my dad could have been like that...
Same thing here! Never had a father, but boy if I did, I wish it could have been a guy like Tim :)
Still watch to this day love it
I love home improvement so much when I was seven I watch that Nick at night
Love this show, still watch it whenever i can.
Tool time and last man standing are literally the best sitcoms of all time. I wish LMS would come back!! 😟
YES!!! A nice bag of sticky Icky and some snacks to boot, and this documentary couldn't be more AMAZING!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Love this show, watching it again on Disney. They should have done another season.
I loved this show. I was 7 when they first aired in 1991 in 15 when they ended in 1999.
Same. I was 15 when it ended.
Same here. Born in 83
Such an amazing show
this show was the quintessential 90's TV show.
This show was ridiculously important to me growing up in the 90's. I related to the Randy character on so many levels it was literally strange... Yet reassuring at the same time. My brother was very similar to Brad, which gave him a reason to watch, and Tim seemed like the kind of dad I wished I still had. Being the same age as Randy meant I grew up alongside that character. That sarcastic self-assured demeanor felt like it was modeled after me in a way. This whole thing was a nostalgia fueled trip to the past.
As a little car guy with a car guy dad, a show about a car guy dad with a little car guy son was picture perfect. Me and my dad absolutely loved this show and every epsiode produced atleast one genuin belly laugh. Boy do i miss being a kid.
Loved the show. Put all the episodes on DVD.
I did not know Tim went to prison on drug charges...goes to show you can definitely turn your life around...
Yeah..yet if he was black..your sentiment wouldn't be the same..they will forever be judged by their past..
Hated this show when it came out. I was 15. My dad never spent time with me. Lots of my friends dads had muscle cars and spent time with their kids. Fast forward to 2024. I am 49. I have 11 year olds. I love this show.’just started to watch it.
Wilson's voice....💗💗💗💗💗
the season finale made mom and I cry
My step-dad loved this show!
Rewatched this recently and damn quite a few jokes still had me rolling.
I used to watch this show with my parent's when I was a kid
I love Pat! 😅😅😅
Great show which I watched growing up. I own the DVD set now!
When I was little my family had to move from Michigan to Texas and after we did one of the few things we found time to do as a family was to watch episodes of Home Improvement, not only because it was funny. It was, but because with it being set in Michigan it reminded us of home.
Such a fun and creative show. Personally special to me because my husband and I were busy raising three boys when the show was in its prime.
What The Hell are You on About?
It is STILL in it's Prime!
Great interviews. But the background music almost drowned out the interviews. Tone the music down!!!
Al Borland is the reason I am into bears 🐻
I don’t get it
I loved the show, and of course had a crush on JTT. We're about the same age. I still love Tim Allen. He will always be hilarious, and I think he is a really good man.
I LOVED Tim Allen the first time I saw him & he has made some Movie Classics for families to watch forever, besides watching Reruns of Home Improvement, & Last Man Standing 👍🏼🥰. Love that Man💜
I wish the three kids would start a podcast going through the episodes
The bleach blonde one is probably trending right now because there’s body cam footage of him in a police car after abusing his girlfriend. It just came out this week, probably why I got this video recommended too. So he’s probably not going to be a part of anything home improvement now idk.

Awesome show even now
This was a funny show. I loved watching this show. It was kind of cool learning that earl hindman had moved back to my home state Connecticut.
With all the other reunions - yes!!! A lot of the great, family values were in Family Matters, Step by Step, Boy Meets World, The Cosby Show, etc….
The things I remembered about Al was his hilarious deadpan "I don't think so, Tim". Now, this somehow doesn't sound like it should be funny, but when you put his deadpan delivery opposite the high energy Tim Allen, it was absolutely hilarious
I loved this show
I truly loved this show! I was in college when it aired and all my college buddies also loved it.
The thing was that it was sorta recognisable.
Do you mean 'relatable' ?
@@daniellamcgee4251 no recognizable a dad of my friend was “always improving” things but he was sort of an autistic Bob Villa. So I recognized it. I can’t relate to it because my dad’s actually very handy.
This was the last show my family actually watched together.
Truly loved this series totally understand why people were ready to move on this is life .
51:10 -51:14 That is absolutely not odd for disney. I praise Karn for delivering that line as realistic as he could.
Just a perfect cast
9:03 when saying “tough crowd eh” couldn’t be any more literal.
Oh ya i remember this show. I didn’t see it a lot but saw a few episodes it was good.
To this day I am still mad no one stepped in when that woman went after a literal child. Taran was a teenager and she was a full grown adult.
Who?
What?
@@Kaibigan39 Taran Noah Smith's wife was 16 years older than him. They got together when he was a minor. Thank goodness they are now divorced.

Eew
Fun fact: Dave Chappelle and Jim Breuer were in one episode of “Home Improvement,” as audience members of Tim’s show “Tool Time.” The episode was actually a backdoor pilot to their sitcom “Buddies” which was canceled after five episodes.
Breuer wrote about that in his autobiography. He said Tim was "such a dick" to him and Dave and he basically wanted nothing to do with them.
@@TeamAbrams wow, I never heard anything bad about Tim, other than his checkered past stemming from cocaine smuggling. Jim’s encounter makes me no longer amused by the UA-cam video of Buzz Lightyear saying “To infinity, and [Tim Allen grunt],” as well as his standup special “Men Are Pigs.” I guess it’s hard to separate the art from the artist.
Home Improvement was the best!
I remember seeing Home Improvement as a kid. It seemed like they all had fun doing the show despite some conflicts behind the scenes. I didn't really watch the show much until they started showing it in reruns on Laff. Laff was replaced by GRIT TV here in Baltimore after 2021. At least they got to do a series finale instead of ending the show with a cliffhanger like some cancelled tv shows did. Tim Allen is definitely a legend in his own way. He made some mistakes but he learned especially when he was younger. Hard to believe he's in his early 70s now.
I miss when life was simpler.
So do I
I loved this show I wish it could be rebooted
I love True Hollywood Story 😂❤🎉
Funny how some people are sitting in prison for life for selling less than that....this has got to change. Selling dr*gs is wrong but putting someone away for 15+ years for selling a small amount of dr*gs is a crime in its self.
one of the best shows ever
Do A movie 🎬 Guys ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉Loved this.
E! Rewind Pop Culture Throwbacks, Patricia Richardson had a guest appearance in “Law and Order: SVU”. It was episode five of the first season and was called “Wanderlust”. In my opinion, she did a great job. I remember seeing the news that Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested around the same time I saw a rerun of his guest appearance in episode eight of season two of “Burn Notice”. The episode was called “Double Booked”. I’m not surprised Tim Allen had “fits” because in my opinion I believe he was “emotionally stuck” at age 11. Going to a counselor back then, and even in the 1980s, wasn’t done when a parent past away. We kids were expected to “get over it” and move on. I equate Richard Karn’s starring as ‘Al Borland’ in “Home Improvement” to Betty White’s starring as ‘Elka Ostrovsky’ in “Hot in Cleveland” because each was hired for one episode of their respective shows, but ended up being cast for the show.
I’ve watched,Home Improvement when I was a kid in the 2000’s because my parents and brother grew up watching this tv show,& they decided to watch it again,I thought it was new or at least still going on as a child, now as a adult I understand it was re-runs & that it ended when I was 1,since my birth month was farther away in 1999.I was missing the show already wondering what happened to,Home Improvement now I know.

I could totally picture home improvement being made into an animated series since a lot of what happens to Tim happens to cartoon characters
So Anderson went from being a sex object on Playboy, to being a sex object on Home Improvement (a family sitcom), to being an even bigger sex object on Baywatch (a show about sex and whose stars hooked up on the set in trailers). They made it seem like she wanted to be a serious actress, which couldn't be further from the truth.
And your point is what..always a bum that has something negative to say about a woman..yall a so hateful and bitter towards women ..smh
No! Because she has as much Sex Appeal as an Apple!
I remember Home Improvement having some sort of 3D episode, maybe for Halloween and (I could be making this up) I remember getting a pair of red and blue 3d glasses from Wendy's that night so I could watch the special lol.
It wasn't a Halloween episode but they did do a 3D episode. It was set as a summer picnic with a long hot dog, a long picnic table among other things.
What is the name of the music that plays when they talk about Debra giving birth to her child?
Just crazy how these shows get the actors actress just fit together this one and friends big bang etc….
