I'm not bashing Home Improvement at all, but the reason I love Seinfeld more than it and Friends, and pretty much every other 90's sitcom, is because they had a strict writing rule, for each episode: - No characters hugging, and no "teaching" moments... Basically, any of that crap you see in a show where the studio audience goes "Awwwwwwwwww" they said NO! And I love that... I don't want lessons about drug use... I don't want to see ANY kids on TV, especially those that are used to teach any sort of lesson... I don't want any of that warm-hearted nonsense... Just give me pure comedy...
