Amazing EMTB Ride @ Southwest Ridge Trails - Las Vegas Best Trails | 4K Relaxing

The Southwest Ridge Trail system is located about 30 minutes from the Las Vegas strip. The trails have been there as long as people have been riding bikes - some possibly originated as burro trails. The Southwest Ridge is also the site of a new, 17-acre bike park coming Las Vegas with construction expected to begin in early 2023.
For this episode I chose to ride, two main trails: Good Call and Legalize It. Although there is a significant amount of climbing, it was easy on my Luna Cycle X1 EMTB. There are a number of relatively steep stair step sections which could prove challenging to newbies, but that’s exactly the kind of terrain I seek out for these videos. This route basically contours around huge rocks and includes some amazing views of the city, with some fun desert riding. If this route was three times as long, it would be considered an epic in anyone’s book; in fact, viewing a topo map of the area shows significantly untapped potential in this area. The views on this route rival those in Utah or Arizona, and it’s closer. Mileage here is the only thing holding this trail back from being amazing, as the terrain east side of the ridge is pretty epic.
The Southwest Ridge trail system is picturesque with a good bit of flow and the right mix of up and down. For these reasons, The Southwest Ridge trails are the best trails, and most scenic in the Las Vegas valley.

THE BIKE RIDEZ STORY & MISSION :
We are Ebike Explorers! This is a channel about electric mountain bike riding for regular people. The primary focus of the videos on this channel is to show off the amazing landscape and scenery on our bike rides, not the actual mountain bike riding. We hope our videos are relaxing and filled with beautiful visuals to dazzle your vision. An extraordinary amount of time is spent setting up each shot and editing it together with the action camera footage. It takes a minimum of two rides of each trail over multiple days to produce this videos.
We are not hardcore mountain bike riders (yet). If you are looking to see trail videos where the riders drop off 8,000 ft mountains at 45° angles you are in the wrong place (at least for now). We are full-time professionals who live in Henderson Nevada which is about 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Most of the videos you will see on this channel feature bike trails around the Las Vegas valley. Although we were avid bike riders before, the change to ebikes (EMTB) has opened up a whole new world of exploration and adventure for which we hope you will join us. Side note: Although we thoroughly love riding our e-mountain bikes for exercise and adventure, bike riding is our primary form of meditation and stress relief. Our bike rides allow for a few hours without our laptops, and without our phones where we can stay focused on being in the moment. Just like meditation and yoga, when we bike ride, we focus on our breathing, we push our bodies to feel more, and, we get to see some of the most spectacular scenic landscapes, sunsets and wildlife that the Mojave dessert has to offer. Whether you are a Las Vegas local or visiting from any where in the world, our hope is that with these videos we will encourage you to take advantage of the extensive Nevada bike trail system.

Cool. I haven't been up there this year, I need to go before the flowers all wilt away (maybe too late alread). My ebike is kinda heavy and there's a feww spots I have to walk the bike over like that one spot coming up from the south end after rounding the first bend and heading east. I bet mountain goats do the same LOL.
