I decided to stick around at Rodman for 1 more day and take a gamble going downlake where I haven't been yet. Results were questionable but I'm glad I went and checked it out.

Hey man I just wanna let you know , I fished my whole life with my dad doing bass tournaments , I remember he used to pull me out of school for a week before a big tournament and we would just go fish the lakes the tournaments were on. There were guys like bob Izumi in the tournaments. So it was really cool to be doing that caliber of fishing so young, my dad is now passed away , and I don’t have a boat nor do I really live near any water anymore but watching these videos really brings me back , so thank you skunk vid or not it’s a part of fishing , I love your channel brotherman if your even up in Southern Ontario make sure you hit up lake scugog , chamong lake, sturgeon lake and pigeon lake. Some of the biggest largemouth of my life ( biggest one was 10.03lbs out of pigeon lake. But wasn’t official. But my old man got a 7.5 pounder in scugog which was in a bass masters magazine in 1995 ish .
Bro I would love to come and be you're fishing partner / driver camera guy whatever bro. I have a truck and a 14 fiberglass jon boat with a 9.9 and a Lowrance hook 7 it's not the best but it works. I am a 43 year old carpenter and I grew up fishing my whole life. Bass fishing and muskie fishing are my life but I just want to get my foot in the door somewhere. I can't really do my own you tube channel but I would be a great helper and I am a stick on the water bro. I have all my own shit all I need is to make enough to pay my truck payment and insurance and enough food to survive. Other than that I can fish 24/7. Or drive or cook or whatever bro I can work on vehicles I can do almost anything. I just want to message you and see what happened man you never know till you try. I will leave my job tomorrow and drive to Florida with my truck and boat and do whatever it takes. I just want to be around fishing everyday and I know that's my calling anyway sorry for the long ass message. Keep up the great work bro. I live in southwestern pa and I'm so bored I just want to fish ugh.

I started fishing a month ago and so far every day has been a skunk day. :) But it's enjoyable and relaxing, so no complaints.
If we don’t embrace our failures, we will never learn. And while you are pursuing a tournament fishing career, don’t loose the appreciation of the environment and the fact that you are there and that is better then most other options. Enjoy the beauty of the challenges of the earth. If everything was peaches and cream, you would be one bored SOB. Show your gratitude and the unexpected experience with be even more powerful.

Some of my best days fishing don't include me catching fish. I seem to learn more on those days than any other. How my baits work, new spots that I hadn't fished before but have a lot of potential. Enjoy your videos.

Don't feel bad. Temps are perfect to fish in Va....but rain has water straight trash. No end til Saturday, but it starts back up Monday and goes a week.
Do you have any specs on those battery chargers? I'm in the market for a dual on board or some portable singles.
I fished Rodman this past Monday launched the boat at Orange springs boat ramp tried going towards the resivour couldn't figure out how to navigate through the flats ended up going up the river past the boat ramp only caught to bass fished half the day bummer
A bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work. I love your honesty Matt. If you are a true fisherman, we all make mistakes. I once caught a Musky lure on a reed in Canada and it peeled all my line off my real. Ironically, my two buddies fished the same spot later in the day and retrieved my lineas well as the lure.
Don’t know when you made this video but if you’re in central Florida you should totally hit lake maitland it’s a chain of lakes with big fish! Fort maitland park

Hey bud heard you are going to Toho. One of my fav lakes. My uncle use to live about 3 mins from Big Toho bait shop. He lives in St Cloud Fl. Now. But you REALLY REALLY need to hit the Stick Marsh!! It's awesome. I live in TN now but the last time I was there we went to Stick Marsh. My Uncle caught a 12lb 2oz there. We had several over 5. It's a great place. Enjoy yourself!!
