    Sodalite is the blue speckled stone you wanted to know about and the crescent moon with the R stands for Carolyn Pollack Relios. She is one of the designers of jewelry for the American West brand of jewelry.

    Hi I Google lens searched your fishing pole broach and it sold on Ruby Lane for $44. It's vintage circa 1950's. The Jeanne jewelry company was around from 1919 til 1960. Thanks for sharing your experience and advice throughout your videos. You're a cool guy. Thanks

    Rusty, the “crackling” on the blue bonsai pot is called crazing. It can show the age of a piece, a lot of turn of the century or older will have some crazing. Newer pieces that are really crazed are usually found in warmer, much dryer areas like Nevada or Arizona. The glazing dries out and cracks.

    • @loisruthstrom8143
      @loisruthstrom8143 Рік тому

      Sometimes the glaze is not meant for outdoor use and is suseptable to crazing outdoors. That happened to some premade pieces my mother glazed back in the 1970's.

    That gold rose pin with the hook may be for a shoulder bag. Pinned on the shoulder it would help to keep the strap on a purse from falling down the arm. From the sixties.

    Excuse me for my mistake. I looked at my jewelry and it’s signed Hardy HARDY I think it’s John Hardy and it’s 925 silver. People who have this collection will recognize it. Pebble design? I think it’s beautiful. The pendant would have been worn on on a black leather cord with 925 fastenings. I have some pieces I wish I could show you. Not to sell but for reference. The back would have 925 and an H for Hardy

    The amber necklace is NOT squash blossom, the latter is a Native American style quite distinctive and not at all similar to the piece you have. Your necklace looks to be from Bail/Thailand area of world. Otherwise, I found the video useful and informative. Some other viewer comments have ID'd marks and materials for you.

    The blue bead necklace with the unusual sterling clasp, the mark looks like a Carolyn Pollack Relios mark. I dont know what the stone is , its a very pretty blue. It looks too light a blue to be sodalite, but I seen another Pollack/Relios necklace listed exactly like yours on Google that was attributed to sodalite. The listing is on Etsy and even mentions that the clasp is a little tricky to figure out!! I have a question about stick pins. I have a large collection that I would like to sell individually. Do you have any luck selling them individually on ebay?????. What amount do you ask for each if they are not name brand?? Your reply would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

    That little blue ceramic pot with a chip….someone would pay $10-15 for “all day long on Ebay?” I’m certainly not familiar with the kind of customers that would buy a cheaply done small vase with an obvious chip on it, Hey, ole Rusty, I don’t mean to be snippy here…and I enjoy your videos and all the helpful info you provide…I really do, but I just don’t see that kind of sale happening too often. Honest? That blue vase look like a “Dollar Bin” item to me. But if you can sell it for $10-$15, more power to you. 😊
