I went to this park multiple times in my childhood. My dad grew up in a rural village near Uruapan💟 México lindo
Hi Cindy,
This park is one of the most beautiful spots we've been to in Mexico. The countryside around Uruapan is simply stunning and Michoacan is one of our favorite states in Mexico. Do you make it back to Uruapan often?
Another wonderful location. Thank You Both. The water park engineering is amazing.😎
Hi Roy! We could spend a few days exploring this park - it's such a peaceful spot! The amount of clean, clear water springing from the ground here is amazing!
Those torta's were huge and what a bargain price I must say. Two people enjoying a nice meal for only 2 US dollars. You surely can't beat that. Also, the park with all the waterfalls was absolutely stunning. What a sight to behold.
Hi William! Those tortas were amazing and the place is owned by a very kind family - it's lovely seeing a little restaurant like that doing such good business. The national park is a spot we could easily visit again and again - such a lush, peaceful place to be!
Love the incredible places you two find!!
Thanks so much Catherine. We're still working our way through the tonne of footage that we took between last November and April! We have many more special places to share in both Mexico and Guatemala. We're also dying to return to Mexico later this year. We really do appreciate you enjoying our videos and we're glad to be able to share these places with you 🤗🤗.
Thanks for sharing, awesome video great memories
Thank you for the compliment, Mozzyforest! This park is amazingly beautiful and it's a place we'll visit again.
@@ACoupleofDrifters it's definitely a gem, thank you! Take care you guys
Amazing video! I really liked that you two really appreciated the park!
Thank you, Amado513! This park is such a lovely spot - we love it here and we love Uruapan. Michoacan is such a beautiful state.
Looks like an amazing site to visit. love the water falls and the creeks. Very interesting vidéo and enjoyed your touch of humour. Thanks to both of you. 😉
Thanks a million Marthe. This is a beautiful park to visit and Uruapan has been a favourite of ours since our first visit in 2013. We hope to make it back to Michoacán later this year to explore even more of this stunning state. Thanks for enjoying our bit of humour 🤗🤗.
I went on a trip to Uruapan 8 years ago cuz my anxiety was through the roof. My brother in law suggested we go to this park and watch my anxiety melt away. True to this day, just watching your video now gave me such a sense of tranquility. Can't wait to go back someday! 😌😌
Hi MAGZ-77. Please accept our apologies for not getting back to you sooner - we were in a very remote region of the US for six weeks and our internet coverage was very unreliable. This meant we fell behind on a lot of things so we thank you for your patience - and your lovely comment!
It's absolutely wonderful hearing that our video brought you back to that relaxing visit eight years ago. Indeed, Uruapan is such a lovely city and this park is a place we could spend hours in each day. It is an incredibly tranquil spot and it's so good knowing our video has managed to capture a bit of that - thank you again for such a beautiful comment!
Excellent video, Fi and Jerry ! Michoacan is also our favorite state in Mexico. Haven't been as much in the last few years, Time to renew our friendship.
Thank you Phil! Michoacan has always amazed us, too - we plan to spend much more time there soon. Hopefully you'll get back there soon for a visit!
Great video. Love the snapshots at the end too. So sweet!
Thanks a million Chickens. We had a lot of fun snapping those photos at San Juan Parangaricutiro, though we never thought we'd use them! We were just taking them as a piss-take 😉 😂🤣!
@@ACoupleofDrifters Ah, guys. Lovely to see you so happy and well.
Yo soy de Uruapan pero tuve que venir a USA 🇺🇸 a trabajar pero pronto regresaré a mi hermoso país gracias por tan bonito video 👍🏻🥹🥹🥹
Gracias a usted! Uruapan es una ciudad tan hermosa y Michoacán es un estado hermoso. ¡Esperamos que regrese pronto a Uruapan y disfrute de un tiempo maravilloso con su familia y amigos!
An absolutely stunner of a park. (In a beautiful looking state) Great vlog you two and those massive tortas looked fab 👍🇲🇽
Hi Ricky and Raquel. The park is a beautiful spot to spend a few hours in Uruapan. There are loads of vendors in the park and there's also a restaurant on site. As for the tortas, they are amazing and the family who run "Loncheria El Tio Quito's" are absolutely lovely. Uruapan is yet another city we're dying to get back to. Thanks for enjoying the video 🥰🥰.
Gotta love those tortas! Thank you for adding two more "want to go" flags to my map app!
We plan on eating _a lot_ of tortas milaneseas on our next visit to Mexico later this summer. Keep filling your map app!
Loved that park 25 years ago. Had no details back then. Thanks for all the information!
Thank you Clf - we're happy to share some information about the park! This spot is stunning and it does Uruapan proud - we could easily spend hours and hours here!
Hi Fi and Jerry - the park looks lovely. Fi that must be some sandwich if you’re tolerating pigeons 🐦🐦🐦 🙈 Take care, D & Susie 🐶😘💕
Hi D and Susie. The park is fantastic and we have to say it s also surprisingly mosquito/buggy free! It's such a beautiful, peaceful oasis in Michoacán's second largest city! It was a mighty sandwich, but those bloody pigeons... We'll be back though, for another sandwich. Fi and Jerry (Your Drifters) xx ❤️❤️
Hi guys, I am very grateful for your kind words about Uruapan, you are welcome anytime you want, here you have a friend if you need anything in your stay. Another places you can enjoy near Uruapan are: Zirahuen (awesome lake), Santa Clara del Cobre (all you can imagine and more made of cupper). Another places near Morelia worth your visit are: Santuario de la Mariposa Monarca (from November to March), and Los Azufres (sulfur hot springs and beautiful Forest). And if you like, we have virgin beaches awesome for your relaxation like Maruata, highly recommended. Nice to meet you.
Hi Carlos! You've left us such lovely comment and have offered a very kind gesture - thank you!
Playa Maruata is the most beautiful beach we've ever been to - such a dramatic coastline along that part of Michoacan. We also have very fond memories of getting a ride along the coast from Maruata to Caleta de Campos (also beautiful!) and we even remember many of the songs which were being played in the car - they still remind us of that gorgeous ride!
Recently, we've seen Los Azufres on google maps and have seen loads of photos - this is someplace we will go to on our next visit because we love hot springs.
We visited Zitacuaro in November, 2021 and tried to enter the butterfly reserve at Cerro Pelon (this reserve is actually in the state of Mexico) but it was closed due to the pandemic. We still had a lovely time in Zitacuaro and even hiked into the hills around the village of Macheros, located just outside the reserve.
Thank you for your suggestions - we know for certain that we'll return to Michoacan again and again!
I grew up there, beautiful city, and the people are very friendly, when you go to a house before greeting you they ask you, have you eaten yet?
Uruapan certainly is a beautiful city - it's been in our hearts since our first visit in 2013. Cupatitzio Park is such a gorgeous and peaceful spot - we could easily spend an entire day here. Indeed, the folks in Uruapan are very warm and welcoming.
just beautiful wish there were more guides but guess i can take bus from guadalajara
Very nice! Were any of the water springs 'hot'? Seems like it would have to if the Devil Knelt there. :)
This is an incredibly beautiful natural area! Indeed, some hot springs in this park would be an _amazing_ feature but, sadly, we don't know of any.
