Eating a banana with a family isn't even the worst thing about it, it's the fact he didn't even peel him
It's like in cartoons when they eat the candy with the wrapper
He hoards bananas for a living, even golden ones somehow. I'm sure he doesn't care, only eats.

I love how he reacts to "we're not sure he has opposable thumbs or not" and looks at his hand for conformation. It's small details like that that make you one of my favorite animators
turn on the captions and go back to that moment
He even goes “urr?” Like “huh, *do* I?”.
He also says “yummy-“ when it mentions he ate two pens and laughs when the narrator criticizes us for laughing. He’s a fairly smart ape. Just not smart enough for his taxes.
His expression as he is about to get another banana is priceless.

Twas thinking about how much I loved the Donkey Kong Country series shortly before watching this. It's like you're both inside my mind and my heart at the same time, Doobus!!
I know he’s committing murder, but the sheer childlike joy on DK’s face whenever these banana people approach just makes it impossible for me the stay mad at the big guy.
The voice of the narrator just makes this whole thing tbh.
Just absolutely perfect for the punchlines.

In the animated series, this friend plays with bananas and acts as if the bananas have a voice and scream when he is going to eat them (like when a little boy plays Godzilla and the cereal on his spoon is people floating in the sea) .
On the other hand, he has an alien friend in the shape of a banana (Xananab) who took him to his planet of living bananas and no Kong devoured any alien.

If Mr. Kong uses that computer for business, he can write it off on his taxes. The desk, too. He did destroy them, though, so that might hurt his case. He needs to check up with his local tax preparer to be sure.
