I like to hang out with them every now and then, playing guitar drinking beers. most of the time they're nice people, hanging out with their dogs. they're kind of loud so that's why most people don't like them.
For a Mac DeMarco and Final Fantasy fan from Liverpool, the first minute is about as good as it gets. It's amazing when you find a shared interest with someone you respect/admire beyond what it is you initially admired them for. What a guy.

Mac, I found you completely by accident years ago on UA-cam and you've been a hidden treasure for me. I honestly thought you were gonna be some dope white rapper with some song called 'Salad Days'. Years later, and I still don't know what it is about you.., your voice, your guitar, cadence, personality etc. but there's something that makes a hardcore hip-hop, trap, reggae, soca music fan take a few moments out of every month and just listen to a few of your tracks. The way you just deliver anything and everything just makes me think you're truly a blessed being. Your musical soul is as if you've lived multiple lives and have awoke now to give us timeless ballads intertwined with a little wisdom here and there.
Very few artists can breach a wall of having me feeling so transcendent. I get heavy nostalgia and also a nice refresh on where I am at the moment. Listening to you makes me realize a mental present-ness in a chaotic life. You help me realize the time, people and things I take for granted and also what I should be holding near and dear.
