Beyond Teaching Millennial Students

Preston Jones tells Luis Figueroa his experience through high school education. It was then when he met his mentor, Charles "The Great", who inspired him to put his soul into everything he taught.
Acording to Preston it is a challenge to teach millennial students because they are young people who dont always make the best decisions. He, as a professor, tries to make a mark on students and show them that it is on his best interest and the student´s best interest to learn any subject that he teaches.
Preston Jones is associate professor of history and he was previously head of the History Department at John Brown University. His research interests focus on the US Empire and American social history in the period 1870-1940. Jones is author of American Government and Western Civilization II. He holds a PhD in History from University of Ottawa, Canada.
