I hope there is an editor, glad this has some menu diving though...first review I have seen where someone got into the polyend side of things too, so many reviews have external keyboards hooked up.
Hey Marc, can you ask Dreadbox what's causing that sideband noise or aliasing in the oscillators? It's really quite pronounced, and a little concerning. Whatever the cause, it's not an acceptable amount of distortion by any means. If this proves to be inherent to every production unit and not otherwise fixable, that would be a nonstarter for me. Cheers!
I will ask!
Any word from Dreadbox or Polyend on this, Marc?
I asked, and I was just told that that's how it is!
Wow! Okay then. On the upside, I guess that frees up some funds for the purchase of something else. Waiter, check please... Cheers!
Sorry that THIS is your first Dreadbox review. Would prefer you to check out the Erebus or Murmux2.
Yeahhhh, according to my very limited experience with the Nyx, this does not typify the Dreadbox sound. There has been some talk of me demonstrating the new Erebus, but we'll see what happens.
HELLO I AM HERE! ............................................Um...YEAH. Wait a second...do I spot WAVETABLE on the third oscillator?? Oh man we in for a long series.
Yes, you do spot that.
