Great review. I appreciate you giving your height, so many other motorcycle journalists don’t provide that. I am also 6’3 and very interested in the midnight blue and brown color scheme of the nightshift version. After your review I think I could be comfortable on that bike. Thank you for the great information!
I just bought this bike and cuz i didn't have option to test drive i noticed high pitched sound like whistling when releasing the throttle or downshifting. Does anyone have that problem, its so annoying.
I hate to be the one who says it, but the new exhaust system on the 2024 scramblers isn't gonna cut it, the style is all wrong for a scrambler, the exhaust system needs to be all up high on the bike as it was on the older scramblers for good reasons, that big exhaust can right in front of the back tire will get beat to crap on gravel roads unless you install a skid plate
13k in the US is ridiculous for this bike and no that fart can bread box exhaust sucks. Extra money for something that belongs in the recycling bin at best. Ducati needs to offer this with a standard exhaust that’s getting tossed anyway and a price around 9,899
Imagine thinking this bike is worth the money Ducati is asking for it. 😆It's been out several months and my local dealer has barely sold 1 a month, and that's the base scrambler. They've only sold one full throttle over 3 months. 🤣
NEVER NEVER brake on a corner why are you suggesting this a novice watching this will think abs will let his grab a handful of brake on a wet bend the wheels will break away regardless of any electronic aids. Desmodronic valve train is only beneficial on high revving race type engines it stops valve bounce it makes no difference to this low powered engine like this. Do your homework.
totally agree its basically money pit trying adjust it periodically and you hope component mechanic is near by...Ducati foolishly clicked to Desmo valve tech without actual advantage on the streets
I love this bike! Just got it and love riding it every day
Good stuff! Enjoy, you've got a brilliant bike there.
Question, was this your 1st bike? Or you had prior experience?
@@ericmwai1149 yes, this is my very first bike. I just got my drivers license in summer

Thanks for the comment!
Can you get cruise control added on?
Is the quick shifter up and down?
Yes
BEAUTIFUL BIKE 🏍️

Probably best to do your research before the test rather than afterwards.
Can't tell if it's too small (toy-ish) for a 6'1 guy.
I'm 6'3" and felt comfortable enough on it
They say acceleration has improved, hope there’s video later comparison to old model. U know this not cheap bike.
Great vid 👌
Thanks for the comment!
How many more Scrambler editions are we going to get Ducati? -_-
is it ok for 5'4'' guy

Everything is fine until you have to adjust the desmo valves $$$$$$$$$$ did I say $$$$$$$$$$$$ so Ducati ownership is EXPENSIVE!

Who puts helmets on the floor of the road. 🤦🏻♂️
It's sat on top of a pair of gloves on a closed road, see no harm in that to be honest.
For 13k I can buy a new Ninja500 and a leftover KTM Duke 390
