my only complaints. 1. underpowered. 2. no undertail exhaust. 3. the whole frame tends to get hot. The frame kneepad needs to be bigger to cover more of that frame also the rear seat is SUPER small for a girl to be on so they tend to squirm on it a bit more. I like the electronics except I can't get one of the users to save with no traction or wheelie control on it. Feeling like I should've gotten an r1
First of all, the bike stickers for $16,599, not $18k like this clown suggests. Secondly, I have the sneaking suspicion this guy creates his own problems wt regard to the check engine lights. He added a tune to the ecu, as well as a slip on exhaust, as well as the exhaust valve removal. If… you don’t do these changes in a specific order, there will be check engine lights, lolz. Plastic covers over the magnesium engine covers doesn’t indicate cheap. This bike is a torque monster, combined wt small size, and light weight, enabling it to pull hard out of turns. This clown clearly doesn’t know what he’s talking about. 😂
@@CK_RIDES I’ve been rockin a 22 of this bike since last may. I’ve already put 5k miles one it and never had an issue with a light. Knock on wood. But yeah I’ve been running a KCS tune and it WAKES this bike up. Way more then a Moore mafia tune IMO. There’s mods you can do to make this bike insanely better. I do agree I paid a lot for it not coming with certain things. But if you upgrade the pads, put good tires on it, get a proper flash made for it, remove intake restrictions, and get a good exhaust. This bike is a completely different beast. But yes that does all cost money where you’ll buy a zx-10r and get all that out the box. I made do with what I had and I love it! I also find it way more interesting to build it myself.
@@CSS_Fifty I'm so glad you're enjoying your bike. Again this is just my personal opinion and experience with this specific bike. Every other bike I own is just sooooo much better out of the box. And after Mods were even better. My Honda...It's still Blah. Love you Bud. Be safe out there.
The whole point of a Honda is for reliability and longevity. If your not planning on putting 30,000 miles on it, then replacing the spark plugs coils and timing chain tensioner, and then put ANOTHER 30,000 miles on it and do it all over again, then dont buy a Honda. Everything else you will have to throw more $$$ at it to keep it going, but not the Honda.
@CK_RIDES Splitting hairs otherwise Plus some people aren't loaded with money and are just looking for a bike that lasts Shameful to call that retarded
I own a 2018 CBR1000RR, and I installed a full Akrapovic exhaust, K&N air filter, Power Commander V, and Dyno Jet auto tuner. So far, I am delighted after riding 18,000 miles on mine. I used mine as a daily rider, and I just love it, and I had no mechanical issues so far. On the other hand, other brands lack the reliability of the Honda and or are as forgiving. The only thing that I agree with you about is that it should come with ABS and auto blippers as standard equipment. My other vehicle is a 2020 2Door Jeep Wrangler, which barely has 30,000 miles. Finally, I don't have the skills to extract all the power from this bike. That is why I don't see no reason for getting the Triple R or any other bike. I plan to get an additional bike, but it is more of a sport touring for longer distances. Besides, the road is not a race track, and I crank my baby up occasionally. It all depends on what you want from the bike, and the best thing is that my bike is paid off.
@@tonyhackett3512 It is better to flash the ECU. But if you plan to put a full exhaust and k&N air filter then you are going to need to put the power commander.
@Edwin6932 I do have full akrapovic exhaust. Haven't put it on yet. Debating on power commander or getting ecu flashed. With filter. I been reading it is best to keep oem filter
@@tonyhackett3512 I just put my OEM filter back in after running a k&n hi performance filter. It runes smoother and quiter. I also noticed with the k&n filter my exhaust had a lot more soot in it then it did with the oem making me think the air to fuel ratio was off with the k&n. Also note I did not tune the bike.
Stock ehaust on thie bike is only quiet when at idle or at rest. The exhaust valve opens up and actually becomes one of the loudest stock exhausts I've ever heard. Odd you would complain about it when most profsssional reviewers note this fact
I want one of everything. I've got 5k on my 22. Slip on, clip on, and tires. No tune yet. No cel ever.....yet. I wouldn't rate it #1 for sure but I think it's an amazing bike. I love how confidence inspiring it is. Wheelie control has to be worse than none at all though. It has never once tank slapped me any so I'm grateful for where honda decided to lean on its geometry. I've only got a few track days on it and for most of us, I think it's great for a street/track bike. I can get away with my mistakes without getting instant regret (except for one time in the rain at VIR) so I can learn without getting an expensive lesson. I hate you've had a bad experience with yours, can't blame you for your opinion. If I could go back knowing what I know now, I'd have bought one sooner. I wouldn't loose any sleep with a zx10 either though, no more yamahas and I don't need any of the 30k bikes
The check engine light is likely due to the slip on exhaust. The stock one has an electric valve that gets deleted. Have to have exhaust related engine light option in ecu turned off when you get it tuned from what I understand. I love my RR . It’s not for the straights you can get busy on the track and twisties though which is why I got it.
I have a slip on and pulled the valve controller and do not have a CEL. In terms of straight line performance, the bike is INSANELY nerfed from factory. Reach out to paul @ KCS Solutions. He knows this bike inside and out and will definitely get it running right for you.
Interesting that you gave it only 3.5 out of 10. Is it really that bad? I am having a hard time choosing a new bike. Already had R1 09, MT09 16, MT10 2017, R1 2020, not sure which one to buy next. The problem I am having is not being able to remap the bike because of the warranty issues.
If you have a Woolich tune they give you a tiny box that holds the map. If you disconnect it prior to dealer service or warranty work you just disconnect it and the stock map takes over. Problem solved.
I do have a question about the ZX10R. I got a 2023 last Saturday. 1. I could not find the Corbin seat at the dealer for the KRT edition! 2. I bought extended warranty for additional 48 months form$600.00. Do you think that was a good idea?
I was able to add the Cowl as part of the deal. So the Dealer ordered it directly from Kawasaki. I never by extended warranties. The reason...I dont keep the bike long enough to make it worth it. And honestly...the ZX-10R is a super reliable bike.
@@CK_RIDES thanks. I have old sport bikes so no much technology but the Zx10R has to many electronic components so that is the only reason I got it. The dealer told me I can cancel the warranty and get a refund for the time i will not use or transfer it to the next buyer. Thanks again
I own a sp2.. it has a special 4-2-1 akra exhaust.. got it flashed and it makes only 3.5 rwhp less than the new bm with a full akra and flash. Also its lighter and i realy love the looks of it. The electonics are not the best but i always have m off so i dont mind.. sorry to hear you regret buying this model.
Hmmm. Second watch since I'm debating a CBR1000RR ....I've noticed that you're comparing the CBR1KRR vs bikes that are $10k+ more...BMW M1000RR ...H2... 2023 CBRs can now (8 months later) be had for the high $13ks (non-ABS) NEW. Not everyone wants to map or throw parts on or be the show stopper. Value-wise for a bike right out the plant, the CRB1KRR is awesome. No need to order from the manufacturer to customize a package bc the dealership doesn't have the pkg you want. I think it's different for a bike "lover" who wants to get in deep financially. The CBR1KRR is the practical choice for a non-modder who waits for the end of the year for when the sales start to hit. And the top speed on the CBR1000RR is enough for most ...except the enthusiast....$1.80+....
@@CK_RIDES Ohhhh. That's a different story ("was a lemon"). Good to hear / clarify in the comments. I did not get that impression nor do I think it was stated as part of the video. Honda doesn't take back lemons?
Get a ZX10R not this bike!! Even a GSXR 1000R. The amount of kit ZX10R and the GSXR has makes it leagues better than this turd. I don’t understand what purpose of this bike is. It’s like Honda just resubmitted the older 1000 as the new one. Doesn’t compare
I agree,I don't understand why he didn't get the cbr1000rr+r sp2, since all the other ones are over ten thousand more. Not a good comparison,I guarantee he would have a totally different opinion if he had gotten the rrr sp.
I owned a 2011 hrc version and what a top bike. Use it for daily, track day and weekend mountain rides. Every bike feels different and seating position and power. Whats important is how much you enjoy the bike.
I have '21 and the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have the QS! Other than that it gets a ton of looks and I've been parked next to RSV4's and Panigale's and people get geeked over it.
man sorry for your issues, I have a 2018 cbr 1000rr flashed by more.... im smoking r1's and r6 man its great Ifeel like the BMW is great but all the electronics wont make a better rider or more fun I feel like the BMW is the cool thing to have now kinda like the starbucks in the world LOL best of luck and ride safe!
I bought this bike last February this year and I haven't had any issues so far. ALL STOCK though. Never modified it. Probably the only complaint I can utter is the plastic fairings. Like come on it's $18,000. But other than that, I can give this 9/10. No major complaints. I guess it just comes down to personal taste. I owned a ZX10R as well and I can say we're on a opposite. My ZX10R gives me quite a few false neutrals from time to time and to make it worse, sometimes my signal light doesn't work if you are quick enough to press it. Needs to slow the pressing down a bit to make it work properly. But so far, false neutral is so frustrating.
I wanted a r1 but i found a good deal on a cbr 1000rr 2017+ and what a excellent bike its so light and nimble and after a tune its got a perfect amount of power.
Which of those bikes is most comfortable for 2 hour rides? I’m almost 50 and comfort matters as much as speed, but I do want to move up to a liter bike.
I have a '17 ZERO issues. Now, my now ex just bought a 23 like yours, has couple hundred miles and check engine light already. I live by my bike and others here want mine also. I have no idea the issues around the new 23 but my 17 is beyond great.
Unfortunately, the base models of all these bikes Suzuki, Honda and Yamaha put out are the practically the same from 10-15 years ago. I honestly think it’s either buy S1000rr, CBR SP, R1m or don’t buy a sport-bike if your looking for something new in terms of a liter bike. With all these emissions laws Europe is instilling. There’s no point in updating these bikes in the manufactures eyes. That’s why they put out there top end model and that’s it and just keep producing the same bike as last years.
been shopping around for a newer cbr1000rr and appreciate the insight. im sure that its probably slower than the other bikes in the garage but i would bet diamonds to doughnuts the cbr is a lot faster than you are. not trying to be disrespectful in any way. enjoy the nice toys, im secretly jealous. ive been riding the same 08 since 2011.
I'm sure you're right. Did you ever notice that 90% of sport bike riders think they're in the top 10%, lol. I'm guessing that's what we have here. I bought a 2022 CBR1000RR and freely admit I'm in the bottom 10%. But I hadn't ridden since 1997 and am now 71 years old. Most guys my age are riding a Jazzy Powerchair.
Totally disagree. Woolich has maps. He doesn't have a real pipe on it either. He's comparing a fully decked out BMW or R1 to a regular CBR not a SP. Check engine cause you don't have a full pipe and still using a 02 sensor.
I don't know why anyone would buy this bike brand new as it's just the same as the 2017. For a lot less money you could have a used 2017 sp with quickshift and ohlins smart ec and better colours. Those horrible plastic engine covers can come off, they're only to sneak it through the us noise regs. The electronics feel old because they are, and they weren't the best when it came out in 2017. It is still a sleeper though, torqey and light.
Oh yeah, and the ecu is hidden because the euro model has an immobiliser programmed in it. It has to be covered to get the insurance approval. Not that big a problem is it? How often do you want it reflashed?
I've had my FI light on for close to 4 years and never had any issues on my 98 vfr800, as long as it runs im good, yet for that amount of money I can understand some of the drawbacks of the issues that may come up.
1200 so far. After break in it was 700 miles of hard aggressive riding which resulted in 2 CEL’s after every session. Which was super disappointing. 2 trips to the Dealership and Zero explanation why.
I think Honda is solid. I like the CBR 1000 RR even thinking on getting a 2024 grand prix color. I also have the ZX10R and R1. Wondering if CK sold the bike?
i had a check engine light come on once because the abs wire was too close to the radiator fan and basically severed the connection. Still love this bike. will still buy a s1k soon
The ABS light was stuck on for one fast ride we were on and then turned off and was replaced by a CEL. When the dealer scan the bike, there was no sign or record of the ABS light being on just a check engine light which they cleared and then charged me $50 for it because there was no explanation as to why it went on. That’s what I bought my own OBD and cleared the third CEL myself.
@@CK_RIDES yeah it sucks cuz even online its hard to find answers for most of tge newer bikes but i just treat it like a car since it is honda and they use i believe same codes as cars. Every issue i find and fix ima just post it on the cbr forums if i get a lot of them. One day we will have the fireblade
very interesting. this is the very first time EVER in history that I heard BMW bike being more reliable than a Japanese (Honda), going against all the stats and publications in this matter.
The Hondas are throwing unexplained CEL now with these engines. After post flash. Like the engine can’t handle being unrestricted. I’ve had 4 CEL come in after hard riding. And I’m not the only one. BMW also comes with a 3 year 36 month warranty. Honda 1 year. Times have changed. BMW is coming for market share. Can’t wait to get mine next month.
Color and look of the CBR 1000 is great. I really like the 600 version because the 1. Exhaust is bellow the seat. 2. The passenger seat is bigger 3. Like the font face more that the 1000
I used to ride an R1... Was thinking about getting another used R1 (2014-2017) or a brand new CBR (now I see why so many local shops are selling them for $14k new)... This vid answers alot for me...
This is my first 1000 liter bike and I love it. The bmw will be my next upgrade after a few years from now. I’m about to change the stock exhaust to an sc project slip on and I was told that I need to install a servo buddy before I even start the bike to prevent any engine code. Perhaps is what you need! 🤷🏽♂️
Ed...already have it installed. Thats standard protocol on a cat delete. We always remove the servo housing and cables as part of a pipe install/cat delete. Thanks for following.
Bro claims 156hp is fucking delusional. 183hp on all forms stock. Guy just straight up hates Hondas. Yes it’s a lot of plastic, BUT WHAT BIKE ISNT that doesn’t cost over 17k? They are plastic so they go faster and easy to replace. I own a cbr1000rr 2023 so I can actually say he is genuinely wrong
I have a 2017 one of these. I have left it standard! No messing around with the bike apart from having Michelin Tyres!... I looked at the R1 ZX10R and the GSXR I have owned all three before in various forms over the past 22 years. These bikes are all similar in BHP etc... I picked the Honda on build quality only as I like all the sportsbikes. I have been riding motorcycles 40 years now and Honda have always been the best built throughout all the years!
I think i commented on one of your previous videos in regards to this bike. Since then, I was coming across discussions of other owners having to derestrict theirs and other things to have their bike less "neutered.". I cancelled my plans on getting a 22' and just went in on the nostalgia choice of getting an 11' instead. Very happy with my 12 year old cbr, i love the aesthetics, the power delivery and rawness of it, and i spent half of what i would of on the 22'
I've always owned CBR's, they aren't the best bike but they aren't that bad....lol. They are hit an miss on years too, its hard to tell when a good one comes out. But for quality they are the better of the Japanese bikes. Others are faster, but all around Honda CBR's, will always have my heart. But not for $18k, lol...
@@CK_RIDES Sorry man I picked up a CBR a few years back, was kinda of disappointed bc I read reviews of the 2004 and 2005 CBR 1000RR's, they were trash. I lucked and got the 2006, which had more power, and better handling. How do you like the BMW S1000R? Is that what you were gonna trade?
a guy near me has a 2022 regular model cbr1000rr with only 500 miles he is asking $14,700 i cannot afford a new bike and honda brand is one of my favorites. i currently have a cbr650. And i want a liter bike bad. I dont know if i should pull the trigger on it seems like a pretty good deal if i want to get one this is a goood deal or i could get an older one for cheaper but would like a newer model
I’m an owner of a 2015 CBR1000RR (which in many ways is the same bike as the 2023) with almost 18K miles. I’ve had ZERO issues. Its fast, light and reliable. So, it’s hard to take you seriously when you give it a 3.5 out of 10. I’ll have to pass on the sub.
my first bike was a honda (919, many years ago), used to love the brand, but now, or rather recent years, generally speaking the CBRs seem to fall short compared to the other brands/models, dont think id ever touch a honda motorcycle, in fact i wont... but good feedback, more or less what i would expect, R1, GSXR ... maybe an italian (RSV4), not the S1krr, that thing about the dead midrange requiring tuning turns me off of BMW.
I mention in the video how my friends really love their Fireblade. I loved it too when they let me ride it. I may end up pulling the trigger on one in the future.
Idk man I see lots of these bikes lowered and stretched, just basic bolt ons and a tune and they keep up with the best of them with ease when it comes to straight line performance. It has the shorter wheel base to allow for tighter cornering, hard braking at apex without low siding. These hondas at the track are usually much faster than the BMWs/Kawi’s everyone praises so much. I’ve ridden all of them and can attest. Actually just this past weekend the guy who ran the fastest lap BY FAR was on a 2019 cbr1000rr stock besides quick shifter, exhaust, and copy/paste tune. It had 22k miles on it and was just destroying the competition. Not saying you’re wrong, just saying that all I see is satisfaction and top placements coming from these Hondas. It feels lighter/more agile than my 07 Cbr600rr and that’s the lightest production 600cc made until very recently
Wow, what a disappointment! Would you consider the RSP? I'm learning a lot from you, thanks for the informative video's. I'm retired too and recently bought a SC33. Such a beautiful bike...no flashing needed...😊. I really like your Kawasaki....what a great bike. Best regards from Portugal.
So look at the ZX10R or GSXR for a 23 model? Either bike I get plan on doing exhaust and tune. Have the opportunity to get a 23 GSXR1000 for 14.9 OTD or a 23 ZX10R KRT edition for 15.2 OTD. Family friends with a local dealership. Love Suzuki but the green is calling my name can’t decide!
Ok let me start here for one I live Honda as a car company one reason I havnt went Honda moto way compared to my r1 which I have had no issues with and its a 14 year model just cracked 30k miles and runs amazing never a checked engine light in 10 years and that’s one thing I’ve heard is check engine lights going off….so I am buying a 25 r1 soon as they hit showroom floors…now come this video my issue with the thought about plastic issue is you bought this whole bike for the money you say is not worth it knowing all the plastic on it if that’s the problem. You did not look into check engine light problems before buying bike it’s just kinda odd to buy a bike then complain about it when you could have done all this homework and avoided the purchase
I love my 2017 cbr sp,size wise feels like a 600cc,but equipment wise, ohlins, quickshifter with auto blipper ,brembo,i know these things are a personal choice, but Honda's are usually bombproof!
After riding it super hard it was extremely disappointing compared to my other bikes. That and the CEL has come on 4x with no rhyme or reason. Zero fault codes. It’s wack. I’m trading it in for a 2023 BMW S 1000RR M package that’s on order. Stay tuned.
@@colquhounluke As far as the frame sliders look up R&G no cut frame sliders that’s what I have and on mine. They are one of if not the best company that makes sliders, they actually crash test them. These have a thick bracket that hooks around the frame then into the motor mount. The slider bolts to the mount at the other end of the bracket at a place where you don’t have to cut plastics. The idea being an impact should be distributed through the bracket and a very thick part of the frame after they slider has soaked it’s load up. Most other sliders bolt straight into the motor mount and can brake off if the slider hits anything while sliding. As far as the bike goes, I asked about your style of riding because if you are going to just do freeway runs with your boys and some light to light drag launches I’d say stay away from it and get another bike with all the power and launch control etc. but if you will be in the twisties and/or the track it can be an awesome bike. I track mine here in NorCal. When on track it’s much more about the rider than the bike until you get way way up in the fastest arena and still it’s a lot on the rider. I’ve passed all kinds of other 1000’s at Sonoma, Laguna Seca, thunder hill, etc. This CBR is the lightest and is focused on handling and momentum. Once you get your riding down it’s all about corner speed and carrying a lot of momentum around the track. The CBR is very forgiving where a lot of other litre bikes are snappy and aggressive. Our U.S models are detuned a lot from the factory. The other units around the world have a different ECU that gives them max power. We have to either buy an outside US ECU or just have ours tuned by a reputable shop. If you get full exhaust and lighter wheels, chain, gearing. The thing is a murder weapon on track with the right rider and feels like a 600 weight and handling wise. If you don’t want to be bothered I don’t blame you. You could cancel your order and go with just about any other litre bike. I’d go R1 or ZX10.
The bike is better than these UA-camrs say. It feels like a 600 cc and the power delivery is not as aggressive as the R1 or 10RR but it is fast enough. That said buy used not new
@@CK_RIDES supersport are not all about top speed. Most users want the city commuting and the handling of which bikes like the R1 can be a handle in traffic
It's not really a fair comparison, you bought the top model of every other bike you mentioned, they are ten thousand dollars more if not more.I guarantee you wouldn't feel the same way if you had gotten the 1000rr-r SP 2.
Dude just casually hates on a new CBR1000 for no reason. This bike is built for reliability, yes the check engine light is a little sus but it's supposed to last the test of time, that S1K that you just ordered won't have a long life. They're full of issues and dead engines. reddit is filled with it, so is youtube, and sometimes BMW declines the warranty for whatever bs reason. But hey if you got the money to just order bikes constantly you probably don't care about long term reliability. Still though, this is a great bike for the price, if you wanted to go full on performance there's the fireblade.
Obviously it’s not gonna preform the same bc it’s has a lower compression ratio and used a smaller camshaft that’s why it’s 25ho below other bikes, but it’s way more reliable and cheaper
I feel like if you look at the CC, it doesnt look like all that, but if you look at the $$, its everything. $16k and Honda reliability? If you want cutting edge, the price of the SP makes sense. I think the other liter bikes are sold on a mddle-ground, where they are street machines that can be used on track, while Honda broke their lineup up into the regular street 1000 and a seperate serious racing machine, priced accordingly. 600cc bikes are only slightly cheaper than this...
The R1 is more of top-end power and it is useless on the road and super unconfortable. If I was all about the power and bang for the money I would have gotten a Suzuki GSXR 1000. It is cheap fast and reliable the only issue with the Suzuki is that the front end is ugly in my opinion and the brakes are not that great in cooperation with the CBR1000RR.
I feel the CBR1000RR doesn't fit anywhere for the reasonable rider, somewhat the same way the CBR600RR isn't the bike a streetrider or a trackrider would buy. The trackday rider would buy the SP version for not much more, and the streetrider who does occasional trackdays would buy the CBR650 which also comes with ABS/TC. I do think if you're buying a literbike then you really need TC, especially performance TC like what BMW/Yamaha/Honda SP has on their bikes. It's so easy for even experienced trackday junkies to highside themselves to the moon without TC, and by now performance TC is incredibly good.

Carlos...love you Brother. A Fireblade may be in my future. But as for the regular CBR 1000RR...after riding it hard the last two months has been super disappointing to me.
It’s 40hp off those other bikes. You simply bought the Honda for the wrong reasons. They are very easy to ride. I also don’t think ANYONE needs the M1000RR unless it’s a strict track bike. I have the 24 S1000RR M and it’s almost identical to the M1000 minus the carbon fiber and titanium internals. Def not worth an extra $15k

After riding the bike aggressively like I do my R1's and ZX-10...the CBR wasn't even on the same playing field. And that was POST-FLASH. I may buy a Fireblade in the future. But no more CBR 1000RR's for me. I would have taken a GSXR 750 over this bike if I knew what I know now.

6 videos ago you were raving about this bike and how its the best bike in your garage. What a complete 180.
That was 2 CEL's ago...

Idiot Honda has always been ahead of the rest. He's talking about plastic covers. Take them off
The whole point of a Honda is for reliability and longevity.
What a retarded reason to buy a Liter Bike.
@CK_RIDES Splitting hairs otherwise

Ok.
I have the 2022 cbr1000rr how is the power commander 5 on your bike. Is it worth it or is it better to sent ecu to some one to get tuned?
The plastic is the engine cover that protects the engine. At least honda thought about providing the cover.
Yes. It also protects it from producing any significant horsepower too.
It's a noise cover- it doesn't really provide much protection.
Stock ehaust on thie bike is only quiet when at idle or at rest. The exhaust valve opens up and actually becomes one of the loudest stock exhausts I've ever heard. Odd you would complain about it when most profsssional reviewers note this fact
You're not wrong. I thought mine had a hole or a loose baffle
I’m so glad you’re enjoying your bike. That’s what it’s all about. Be safe out there. Thanks for the support.
We have flashed and remapped this bike 2x. CEL still comes on religiously.

I would suggest something from kawsaki. A Zx10r will really put a smile on your face.
If you have a Woolich tune they give you a tiny box that holds the map. If you disconnect it prior to dealer service or warranty work you just disconnect it and the stock map takes over. Problem solved.

I would love to have a Fireblade in the stable to test it out. 2025 will be the year I buy it.
honda need to release a $18k base model fireblade and replace this.
I think you missed the point of my video. The bike was a LEMON. The main problem was the CEL that came on every ride that they couldn't figure out.

1200 so far. After break in it was 700 miles of hard aggressive riding which resulted in 2 CEL’s after every session. Which was super disappointing. 2 trips to the Dealership and Zero explanation why.
As someone who is getting a 2023 CBR1000RR for my first liter I’m excited cause reliability is what I’m after with more power than a 600
I think Honda is solid.
That’s what I bought my own OBD and cleared the third CEL myself.

my first bike was a honda (919, many years ago), used to love the brand, but now, or rather recent years, generally speaking the CBRs seem to fall short compared to the other brands/models, dont think id ever touch a honda motorcycle, in fact i wont... but good feedback, more or less what i would expect, R1, GSXR ... maybe an italian (RSV4), not the S1krr, that thing about the dead midrange requiring tuning turns me off of BMW.
How about triple r?
It's still rocking the 2008 motor

That said buy used not new
I agree. Definitely felt like a 600cc. But slow AF. Buy it if you love getting gapped.
Dude also said this one was a lemon, even LESS of a fair comparison
Thats why Marquez was always frustrated while racing because that respol kept having issues, and that was on top of the issue with his arm.
everyone redubbed him as "sir Crashquez" after idk how many times he went down lol smh.
As a daily it’s the best but it just lacks too much hp compared to the others but it’s hella light tho.
Honda bought it back for me because it was a lemon and replaced it with a 2024 Fireblade
You live my dream man
It can be yours too. www.cktraderpro.com
🤣🤣🤣
Hey News flash buddy.. you're BMW is coming with Nissan calipers.
Mark...actually they're not. I upgraded them. Booooyah!!!
@@CK_RIDES 🤣
@@hardhitt3r410 I know.
I had my 2017 flashed by Moore mafia
Everything you are complaining about was right in your face when you bought it and… you still bought it lmao. This feels like a you issue.
Jess go back to riding your 50cc scooter to Starbucks and leave the riding to the big boys.
Back when I first started riding early 2000 people barely rode CBR they start no matter what but other than that no one wanted a Honda.
I know. They kind of still don’t. Unless it’s a Fireblade.
@@CK_RIDES even then fire blades were slow until this rrr came out
In your area
Hondas have Always sold plenty
People Love CBRs in the early 2000s
2001 cbr600f4i won a championship the year it came out 🏆 with Miguel Duhamel the most winningest racer in history
As well as the great Nicky Hayden
Theres a guy on youtube that went 400k miles including track days with his
Number 1 Stuntbike in the world
Swiss army knife of sportbikes
Dave Moss calls it "Venerable"
The CBR line up has proven Most reliable overall
@@SystemAdministrator1 places I’ve only place I’ve seen a lot of Hondas was in NY but everybody wanted the fastest bike R1 the kaws then Zuk’s Honda was last thing people talked about. Maybe your area they like Honda’s which was nowhere near the fastest bike on the block. I can say reliable it would start right up after sitting for months.
I had a 2021 CBR 1000rr it had about 175 hp to the wheel. My 2023 ZX 10R has 195 hp with just a slip on. Moore mafia ecu flash of course. I was going to keep both bikes because it’s fun having two but I just sold the CBR. Idk why Honda has such pathetic hp numbers
They are just geared differently. Kawi is a BEAST!!!! Chris Dynotuned and ECU flashed my ZX-10RR and it was a monster.
@@CK_RIDES oh yeah I saw that video sick bike man! Dude the 40th anniversary zx10 RR that’s purple and pink 🤤
Bro You Should Have Talked to CHRIS MOORE. He'd Make you happy with that bike.
You buggin ?¿
Ok.
You should have bought the SP version, it has everything you said yours doesn’t have.
How do you feel about the 2023 GSXR1000R?
Buy.. this CBR model is the old one, is the 2019 model. From 2020 is quite different... Sorry buddy. But.. I love your channel
Carlos...love you Brother. A Fireblade may be in my future. But as for the regular CBR 1000RR...after riding it hard the last two months has been super disappointing to me.
Something doesn't look right on that bike. It doesn't look like the same 2023 model that we have in the UK. 🤔
Many have said that. Here in the US this is what we have being sold on our soil.
This guy is awesome. 🎉
What do you expect from an outdated bike...it's the same as a 2017...not sure why the US doesn't get the base RR-R
I should have never bought it.
Honda makes an RR-R without the trick suspension etc....I think you'd been happier with that bike...over this old gen bike.
❤my neighbor swears by honda.. I want a r1 tho... but the zx10r has been on my radar idk..
I've ridden them all super hard. The R1 has my heart up to this point in my journey. That could all change with my two next bikes.
This bike has a block off in the air ram u have to cut it out and the bike works fine
Thats the first I've heard of that. Great info.
Iam glad I didn’t buy another one,,I had a 2012 and was looking to purchase a 2023 cbr 1000RR,,I couldn’t find one we’re I live so I looked at 2023 zx10r,, iam still in the break in with 205 mikes on it,,it’s been in rain mode the whole time I’ve had it but I can already tell it’s a animal compared to the cbr I had stock for stock,,I don’t regret trying something new cause I liked the Honda but it is what it is in the end,,spending that kind of money u don’t want to look back and regret it,,team kawi
@@CK_RIDES I hear you,,,the 750 is no slouch,,,I've had two of them,,,
@@slimd98 Absolutely.
Dude your tire say you just ride straight! Get an MT-10 and stop pretending.
Drastic Thomas your comment tells me you’re some dumbass punk who’s Dick is the size of a mini dill pickle. Compensate much??? I’d smoke your ass on a track at 50 years old. Watch who you’re talking to Son. Respect your Elders.
This guy should not have made this video just wants to complain maybe you should have left the bike stock the things you mentioned you should not even have the right to an opinion
Is that so??? The bike was a lemon. Honda bought it back from me and gave me a Fireblade to replace it.
