🎬 Quick Guide to Manually Install Plugins in Final Cut Pro:
1. Download Plugin: Ensure it's a .plugin, .mtitle, .motiontemplate, or another compatible Final Cut Pro extension.
2. Close Final Cut Pro: This guarantees a smooth installation.
3. Unzip File: If your download is compressed, double-click to unzip.
4. Copy Plugin: Use 'Command + C' or right-click and 'Copy' the plugin file/folder.
5. Navigate to Motion Templates:
Go to Finder - Movies - Motion Templates.
6. Paste Plugin: Place it in the correct category (Effects, Titles, Transitions).
If the appropriate category folder doesn't exist, create one with the exact name.
7. Reopen Final Cut Pro: Your new plugin should now appear in its respective browser.
Done! Your plugin is installed and ready to use. Enjoy enhancing your Final Cut Pro projects!

I have no folders inside the motion templates folder, what gives?

No problem just create them! Create 4 folder and name them “Effects” “Transitions” “Generators” and “Titles”!

@@EllevonEditing I did that and it still didn't work. When I went to "Get Info", I added .localized to each of the 4 folder file paths. This sorted the problem!
