with "idontwannabeyouanymore" Billie has said that "models" can refer to more than just fashion models. Role models, people we look up to, are under constant pressure to look and act a certain way in order to be just that: the perfect role model. Billie, experiencing this herself, tries to show the other point of view. That's a LOT of pressure for anyone.

she actually is referring to models, meaning models who pose for photos. She said in the Genius video for idontwannabeyouanymore lyrica explained, she feels that models are actually very sad people because they have to act happy and relaxed when inside the could be depressed or like they are dying.

In Bellyache she's portraying a psychopath. Earlier in the song she said "my friends aren't far, in the back of my car. Lay their bodies." She was losing her mind and killing those close to her. Not sure where the money came from though

When she was a kid she lived next to crimals who had a ton of money and Billies mom was helping one of them move a safe. Not know tons of cash was in it. It could be the source but idk.

I dont know if you know, but she also has Tourette's, had a dance and a horseback riding injury that contributed to her depression, she had to quit dance, riding, and when she started to blow up she quit choir which further isolated her. Knowing that, the "box" in Lovely makes so much more sense. Because her stardom is amazing but she's also had to leave behind her support system, except her close family.

The box in "lovely" represents isolation. If you'll notice, even though Billie and Khalid are in the same box they still aren't really interacting. They aren't seeing each other. Because sometimes when you're not really alone you still feel alone because of the mindset you've forced yourself into.

I think your interpretation of the 3 songs are pretty spot on, I really appreciate the way you get into the lyrics on a much deeper level, rather than give some superficial commentary! I think that's why I enjoy your video's TBH! Billie is extremely intelligent, she's definitely an old soul! this song is really just so sad and vulnerable. Her Genius video where she explains this song is soo good! she said that she's never related to anything she's written more than this song. Cuz she's been open about her mental health and she does suffer from depression and the like. This song is essentially a message to herself, hence why she's looking in the mirror; she's singing to herself. So when she says "u" it's really an internal conversation she's having. Whether it's the lines "only u know the way that I break" meaning only i truly know what im feeling and thinking so only i know really how to hurt or better myself, and "got a mood that u wish u could sell" meaning she is always sad and wishes that she didn't have to feel that way all the time but she does, and of course "i dont wanna be u anymore" meaning that she really just doesn't want to be herself. She said in the genius video too that the idea of being you and only you for your entire life is such an insane idea. And so the fact that she has to live with who she is and how she feels everyday 24/7 for the rest of her life is something she doesn't want to do. Everyone from the outside says they want to be her/be like her, when in reality she doesn't even want to be herself. Very emotional song

Hi there! Biliie Eilish is a homeschooled 17 year old, just about to turn 18! She has been singing since she learned to walk she says. At 14 these songs were written by her with the musical accompaniment and some lyric assistance from Bro. Finn... her song have open ended collaboration with her brother Finneas. He has his own band, and a record contract that he got recently, he is 22! They are best friends and spent thousands of hours in the bedroom/studio of her family home, recording her magical emotional voice, and the lyrical dance of love/hate and live/die and ebb/flow.... she is mentally and emotionally above her chronological years...almost as if she came back from an incarnation, to live again, and tell her story! Just thought I would share..lets watch her get all six Grammys she has been nominated for! Hugs from KY🥰

Billie is now 18 years old. Her music is all amazing...that voice just draws you in to every word. She also has tourettes syndrome...she doesn't have really bad, noticeable tics...but making faces and stretching neck and face at times. You should react to Ocean Eyes which she actually recorded at 13 years old....and her Carpool Karaoke w/ James Corden.. it's really good and she goes to her family home where she still lives with her parents and her brother Fineas . Fineas is a great writer and singer also...he is older than Billie.

I rarely comment on anything, but you sir, have caught my interest in your perspective of her songs. Great reaction video and I applaud you.
In the "idontwannabeyouanymore" song, she actually wrote the majority of that from a personal level as she did suffer from body dysmorphia in her earlier years. Of course, Billie being Billie, she always throws dozens of different messages into a single song. So in other words, it proves how cruel and dangerous people can be through criticism of any sort. As she stated on her chorus "If tear drops could be bottled, there be swimming pools filled by models told that tight dress is what makes you a whore". So she's pretty much saying, many women (models or not) are suffering from different mental illnesses (body dysmorphia, in her past case) due to the hurtful comments people always find the need to say towards ANYTHING they wear or even simply do. Like she recently stated "If I wear what is comfortable, I am not a woman. If I shed the layers, I'm a slut". So she wasn't only placing her own personal struggles on that song, but also being a voice for women.
Edit : Forgot to mention, I have liked, subscribed, and hit that bell button for your channel! Keep the videos coming! Great content!

1st of all is there a parental advisory label on her music.. if there is I didn't see it... and btw the depression in this is not good for a pre teen??? I'm so baffled by your thoughts are you suggesting seriously in 2019/20 that depression can be brought on by music as if listening to an emotional song that may have a depressing tone can take a happy well rounded kid and cause depression!!! I suppose you buy the notion that songs and song lyrics made kids kill themselves in the 80s and 90s as well.. that shit is so ridiculous and could not be further from the truth.. get your head right lady fr, 1st of all weather a kid is depressed or not the fact is at some point in there life chances are they will be and btw most kids these days do struggle either openly or silently depending upon if they are allowed to be themselves by there parents and peers or if they have to hide in shame more than they already would be, and music and just about every other form of art is how humans adults and kids alike are able to cope with those feelings weather your the artist or the audience. I've suffered on and off throughout my life with depression starting I'd say around age 6 or 7 fyi (I had a great home life and my parents were everyone's favorite parents on the block) at around 12 I was actually suicidal and listening to music and writing poetry is exactly what saved me never did the whole counseling thing or the suicide thing clearly and thankfully. If your daughter wants to hear billies music I can't imagine for the life of me why you would deprive her of listening to someone so incredibly talented and honestly uplifting when you know a little more don't be so closed minded she may be able to relate to her on some level and hopefully that helps her out realizing it's not just me, I'm not alone or the only one who feels sad sometimes whatever it is I promise you it's not going to make your perfectly happy daughter clinically depressed or even sad if it does there's more beneath it and it's probably really good for her to get it out vs holding it in like I was right before the thoughts of suicide ... Thank God somewhere around 1984 or 85 (oh shit I just really aged me)Metallica fade to Black found me being able to relate not feeling alone that shit saves people weather she needs to hear it now or someday when she's older why stop her now from hearing it if she wants to going into the absolute hardest years of her life most likely.. I'm sorry but I just wish more parents had a clue unless your locking them in a dungeon forever your kids are gonna get out and they will do what they wanna do weather you say so of not... Let her listen to what she wants to .. let her express her feelings and be herself and if she is feeling depressed ever guess what that shits fucking normal nothing to be ashamed about.. casting shame in depression that's the shit that's killing kids and causing them to take there lives there is and should be no fucking shame in being depressed or feeling sad it's called being alive and thank God we are we all have bad days without them we couldn't have good days listen to some more of her songs they are just like life all over the place good days bad days her voice and music are absolutely amazing and I like what she's about and since I did it already anyway I'm a 45 year old mother of 3... My oldest is 21 and my youngest is 8, I encourage all of my kids to hear her music if they wanna hear it.... Sorry for the book but that statement just hit home to me and in the last 5 years I list a cousin and a nephew to suicide I thought about it myself there is no age limit on emotions and your daughter's a raging pool of emotions or could be right now she needs an outlet I say let her let it out.....

@NoochTV right I completely agree... Nothing on the tv pc or social media is going to have the capability to control a kids mind enough especially if it is somewhat limited and monitored by a parent who is at least somewhat present I get that it's important to know what our kids are viewing on the internet but to say there's too much depression. Especially for a preteen girl who is going through a range of emotions and changing hormones that they don't understand already I just see no reason to deny a kid a very well known source of comfort and outlet for helping to put those emotions in check and mostly a feeling of it's not just me because let's face it as humans we are all emotional beings who feel isolated when we're not and often feel like it's only me who feels this way when almost everyone feels the same I think it's healthy to be in touch and in tune with all of your emotions even the ones that make you sad because it's part of being human and there is nothing wrong with it in fact if you go through life and all of it's problems and never feel sad or get depressed there might be something kinda scary in that . I think it's an important topic that is often times misunderstood and people tend to deal with it wrong by shaming depression and being sad as if its wrong and a person shouldn't feel that way when in fact there are many reasons behind it and the reason why it never gets better is everyone wants to portray these perfect "normal" not really happy kids and so they are forced to hold it in and it's simply not healthy live that way. Chances are unfortunately your kids will be depressed weather or not you know it accept it or allow it I your home and take it from me there is nothing worse than hearing your child say I just don't wanna be I don't wanna kill myself I just don't wanna wake up cuz I'm sad and I don't know why and it's fucked up I know Mom but I don't know why ... But music is a great source of comfort where kids can hear other kids and find someone who they relate to especially if they find it hard to talk about it with someone else don't deprive your kids of something because it makes you feel uncomfortable or takes away from the perfect image your trying to portray.
