Billie is beautiful just by looking at her, by when you hear the way she talks, when you notice how down to earth she is, how humble she is, how she respects everybody and how she always have interesting and kind things to say, it almost impossible not to think how an amazing and attractive woman she is. So nice that she uses her "power" to give confidence to so many talented people out there trying to make it.
I love how down to earth this girl is. And so wise for her age. I'm not a huge fan of her music, but I really like her personally. Such a great human being.
I love this. I understand how Billie feels. I once wrote a song to guitar accompaniment and sang it at a festival. About a year later I heard a younger teenager do a piano instrumental cover to it. I was ABSOLUTELY blown away. It was like she did it so much better than I did. She made the song seem so much more beautiful, so much more pure. And, of course, I was both really honored and flattered to hear someone play my song.
True though. There was festival of talents in our city and my friend wanted me to join. I didn't want to join, but she forced me so I took the inspiration of my friend losing herself in love. It was supposed to be a petty revenge, and wrote all the cheesy parts and "helplessly inlove" kind of thing. Later in the stage, I was cringing the entire time to my song thinking that it sound so weird, sappy and cliche. Next thing I knew, music festival went by and someone freaking cover it with an acoustic guitar. I was flabbergasted and my friend was livid. It was honor for them to sing my song and deliver with their own feelings. Although it was embarrassing to admit that the song was just a petty revenge. Funny enough, before giving the song, I told my friend the inspiration of the song and her face was priceless. Her face were mixed of embarrassment, shock, proud, and murder. Needless to say I spend 2 weeks watering the plants.
Totally agree with her about the run that first girl did. Had to replay it myself a bunch of times… she rolled down into that deep note unlike anything else. So unique

I’m repeating seeing this video because it was so heart warming
I love this. I understand how Billie feels. I once wrote a song to guitar accompaniment and sang it at a festival. About a year later I heard a younger teenager do a piano instrumental cover to it. I was ABSOLUTELY blown away. It was like she did it so much better than I did. She made the song seem so much more beautiful, so much more pure. And, of course, I was both really honored and flattered to hear someone play my song.
God that's the best feeling ever.
True though. There was festival of talents in our city and my friend wanted me to join. I didn't want to join, but she forced me so I took the inspiration of my friend losing herself in love. It was supposed to be a petty revenge, and wrote all the cheesy parts and "helplessly inlove" kind of thing. Later in the stage, I was cringing the entire time to my song thinking that it sound so weird, sappy and cliche. Next thing I knew, music festival went by and someone freaking cover it with an acoustic guitar. I was flabbergasted and my friend was livid. It was honor for them to sing my song and deliver with their own feelings. Although it was embarrassing to admit that the song was just a petty revenge. Funny enough, before giving the song, I told my friend the inspiration of the song and her face was priceless. Her face were mixed of embarrassment, shock, proud, and murder. Needless to say I spend 2 weeks watering the plants.
