Glad your new home is almost ready, Ken-san. On a side note, I came home today and found out that my 72-year-old dad has been following your channel for a few months too! He was watching your Yishun video and he said he really likes how you speak.
My dad in his late fifties also watches ghib and said the same thing about liking how he speaks!
You can get a contractor in to use gypsum board to box up all the gaps around your wardrobe and seal it off so not dust or pest can hide there. Then paint to match wall
You have a wood floor and a castor chair
Should get from ikea for the plastic floor shield to protect the wood floor
How about putting the wrongly measured cupboard in your work-out room, and rebuy a correct cupboard for master?

You might need to get your carpenter to install a soft close system to the cabinet above your dish washing sink.

Wooden door looks nice but it may corrode over time. My wooden door corroded After 2 years. I suggest you buy a waterproof tape to seal the bottom to prevent water from getting it wet. You can buy the crystal clear gorilla tape from hardware store. By the way, if I were you, I will move the cupboard to the other room and get a built-in wardrobe. Sorry to say that the big gap behind can be an eyesore whenever you look at it.

Hi Ghib san, I would recommend you to get a clear plastic mat for your chair. As the wheels will scratch your wooden floor. You can get one from lazada or shopee for around $40

Can consider: returning the wardrobe to ikea for a full refund or relocate to another room. Then get a carpenter to do a built in wardrobe flushed all the way to the ceiling. I had the same wall gap. With the built in wardrobe I am able to store my ironing board, iron and luggage inside the spacious wardrobe. Fyi, it cost me $1500 pre covid. Anyway just a suggestion only.
He mentioned in the video ikea doesnt accept refund
For your wardrobe you can always add a slimmer extra frame at the side. It will cover the gap

I'm surprised that wardrobe fits for both of u... wow!
An alternative for the toilet would be to use a Panasonic bidet seat which can be fitted on. I ve used that for years here.
It comes with 2 nozzles suitable for male or female usage . Retails at less than $150.
It's great to have the Toto if all the functions can be utilised but it's impractical to have an electrical outlet in toilets here . It gets wet when it's washed while we generally wipe the floor n bowl with disposables n sprays in Japan
Also no need for heated seat here but so necessary in winter. 😊
I use a Toto in my apt in Japan too. Its common, necessary n cheaper 😁.

I suggest you may want to do more built in cabinets/wardrobe because they look nicer and allows you to have more storage space. I find that it takes more effort for me to source for wardrobes which fit exactly and I always regret not doing more built ins. By the time I move in and if I wish to do a built in wardrobe then, I just can’t be bothered anymore because I didn’t want to move stuff out and have the renovation contractor create a mess again
