Puffer fish will love eating them though.
Can you tell me what fish was on the rock and eating algae
Otocinclus
Get a male Nerite and you get no eggs, when you buy one put it in a container for a good while and if no eggs appear its a male.
They were in a quarantine tank for a few weeks....no eggs.
I thought I got lucky and added them into the main tank.....

Sir my cat has eaten pleco during tank cleaning.. is that good for my cat??
I have no idea, but I would suggest you monitor your cat closely as some plecos have spines that may injure your cat's insides.
Can otocinclus be with goldfishes ?.
Yes and No. If you don't want mishaps, better not to have them.
Thank you!!
I thought Nerite snails don’t lay eggs in fresh water
So did I. I had read that females only laid eggs in brackish water. Guess the info online was wrong.
They lay eggs, they just won't hatch
Thanks! Very informative. Do the goldfish eat the snail eggs at all?
+Jakki Carey Not at all, I am considering removing the snails from the tank because removing the eggs takes alot of maintenance time.
