    Ideal for little shredders, the new JS Series Concert Bass Minion JS1X features a shortened 28.6" scale length, poplar body, one-piece bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement rods and a 12" radius amaranth fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays.
    A Jackson P style neck pickup and Jackson J style bridge pickup power this 4-string bass, which also features a pair of volume knobs, hardtail bridge with black base plate and Jackson-branded locking tuners.
    The Concert Bass Minion JS1X is available in Neon Green, Pavo Purple, Satin Black or Satin Silver with black hardware.

    You're one of those people I could listen to for hours even if you were just reading the phone book. I really want this bass, and I think I'll get the wireless transmitter system too.

    Apparenlty it isn't actually a bad ground if it goes away when you touch it. It wouldn't go away at all if it wasn't grounded at all. But one trick I hear about is to get an electricians grounding braclet, and you can hook it to the bridge or something, so it won't hum while you aren't touching the strings or bridge. One cause of the hum is the human bodies own electrical signal is causing the noise, and its picked up due to the combination of high output pick ups and distortion from the amp. One piece of evidence the grounding problem lies in your own body, is touch an input jack on another amp, that you aren't plugged into, that is plugged to a wall and turned off, you will notice the sound goes away because it grounds your body

      if one has to ware a grounding strap thats just dumb and a bad ground can still cause the problem grounds can be bad and can be fixed basic 101 of electronics

      yup the ones that suit you,, and are of course the proper length for the bass this uses short scale length strings but there are a number of choices my self i love flatwound strings my self

      passive youll never see me buy any guitars with active pickups
