    I'm now thinking: these videos are sort of the "wipeout"or "ninja warrior" tv-shows but on a very tight budget.
    And actually this mouse is more fun to watch than the expensive shows. No ads, no bs, no intros and replays, just pure content.

      @@insAneTunA Erm, no. America has never elected a stupid President. Stupid Congressmen, yes - the comparatively limited pool of voters they have to face makes this more feasible. Senators, no. And Presidents definitely not.
      The Presidential average IQ _has_ declined over time - along with that of the population - but Trump fits comfortably in the high-120 range along with his predecessors of the last half-century.
      Pathologizing one's opponents as stupid is a poor strategic move when its used as an excuse to avoid confronting their actual ideas and arguments.

    People acknowledge your sound design to be a key to the success of your mouse videos.
    I think it's because it reminds people from Gen Y of early computer "games" that were more like interactive pictures. The entire sound design really reminds me of them.

    I am just so glad I do not have to work that hard for my dinner! When the mouse family asks what he brought home to eat, he tells them to go get their own. Had to watch twice it is so enjoyable. Thank you Matthias.

    Your videos are always FANTASTIC Matthias == what's just as astonishing is that they climb amazingly slick surfaces AND make these dramatic leaps in almost total darkness! It's truly remarkable to see how quickly the confidence of a wild mouse builds. Thank you again and again for sharing something so entertaining and whimsical. We'll be watching as always. Mice, smarter and more capable than most would ever consider.

    Thats so cute. You have a cute deer mouse there!. Mice are quite intelligent. I found one on my sidewalk last fall when she was about 6-7 days old and now she’s the cutest sweetest thing ever. She loves me for saving her life.

      Yeah but, food packs an _amazing_ amount of chemical energy. You run for an hour an that's just half a chocolate bar. This is why fat slobs will stay fat slobs until the day they die --- all that fat represents a f*ckload of hard physical labour they will never get around to.

    This video highlights one of the most admirable traits of mice -- their persistence. Some of Mathias' other videos highlight their curiosity and inquisitiveness. All are quite admirable traits -- unless you're fighting off an infestation.
