90 percent of the time I play Ai vs Ai. I wish they would fix weight detection I'm tired of seeing Andre the Giant do roll reversal and cruiserweight stuff. Also cruiserweights Irish whipping Giants. Very few cruiserweights moves work on Giants. Mostly striking, diving and running attacks and running attacks work only if they are weak. No wrestler should lift Andre unless they have the strength boost payback I forget what you call it. Weight detection needs a lot of work. Also reversal should have categories like Giant, Brawler, Dirty, technical, and striker, these little things would add a ton of realism to Ai.
@stephenleewheeldon74 As long as it's been, I'm surprised more people are not complaining about weight detection. Also, do you know I don't even play Gm. I don't think I ever even clicked on it. I guess I won't be satisfied until the story creator comes back. 2k14 had everything. Custom music ,custom story some games had create a finisher. If they took out Gm mode just to have some of this, I'd be very happy.
Idk how much 2K is listening to us considering we’ve yelled to the mountains about how we want Story Designer to return. Just imagine what we could do with AI vs AI if we had more control over match outcomes, promos, run-in’s, etc… I miss those days
My whole entire time with WWE 2K games have been dedicated to AI vs. AI. Every game I first get my hands on is immediately rushed to figure which settings and attributes can create the best and most realistic TV-like AI vs. AI matches. Edit: Although WWE 2K23 has better AI than 2K22, it does not have this feature and is only exclusive to 2K22, 2K16, and 2K15. The AIs can kick out at 2.99 in those games. Any other games the AI mostly kick out at exactly 2 or 1. It's very rare for them to kick out at 2 and a half or later taking out the realism of real TV WWE called "near falls".
Some of those older games you could let a round go to the simulator and take on the virtual winner. This is definitely beyond that yet similar ….sometimes.
I started doing AI vs AI with 2k22 and enjoyed it then once I got 23’ and learned how to get the game play sliders right I really enjoyed it I love it now because I feel you get to see all the moves done smoothly rather than trying to remember all the button combos the only time I’ll play is to unlock showcase but i really do enjoy AI better

We all like to take control sometimes ai vs ai, incase you want to have an opponent win or kick out etc. but instead of pausing, un pausing to take control of a wrestler, which is now a pain in the ass as it takes the steam out of the match. How about taking control of wrestlers and in control them actual in game so it flows your way. There’s plenty of buttons to use for this option… get me?

I’m not sure if this was added in on wwe 2k23 or if it was added in earlier but I like how if the ai gets stuck or bugged, I can go in the pause menu and take control of that wrestler just to get him unstuck. Then I’ll switch him back to com. Before that feature, I’d just end the match and start over. I’m sure all of us com vs com guys did. We didn’t have a choice.
2k24 ai vs ai is trash. Only works in normal matches. Ladder matches break all the time and noone attempts to climb them. It happens in steel cage too.

I play more AI versus AI than I actually play nowadays especially it's good to do if I'm like eating or something so I can just kind of spectate it

My humble opinion 2k19 was the best AI
2k24 was good, and the only complaint was AI never go for tag team finisher
