Completely agree. Best combination smooth with jubilee. If the dial was mint green then it’s an absolute winner, the back is lovely also. Great honest video
I owned that watch on an oyster bracelet. It is a great GADA watch indeed. I decided after 3 years of ownership that I prefer 36mm, but the 41 is a great choice if you have the wrist for it. My wrist is 6.75" and the 36 is more comfortable than the 41 for me.
I used to own the datejust, but had to sell it. I really like the Omega Aqua Terra over this watch, if I had to have one watch in that style. For me if I had to have one watch it would most likely be a GMT for overall versatility
Great video. I owned the 41mm Sub Date for 2 years as a daily and I have to say that you’re 💯 spot on. This DJ41 is much more slimmer, lighter, comfortable and wearable. Yes, it’s more versatile and not a hype watch like the Sub. Great video 👍 subscribed.
I own a 126344 and its a lovely watch but not gada, i find myself wearing my other watches more than this , but it is amazing . It wears smaller than 41 and smaller than several of my 40mm watches so anyone saying its too big and you should get the 36 is lying or has a childs wrist . If you like it either the 36 or 41 would fit the vast majority of people fine.
Why why why did Rolex not use the superior glide lock? On the fly micro adjustment is a basic requirement for a luxury watch and I feel the crude 5 mm easy link doesn’t do it.
@@Bob_Dobalina123 I now find I like them both but a bit too much to have two. At this point in time I would go 41. If it was a watch for a lifetime I would go 36. The reason is that when (and if) im old I would prefer a 36. Thanks fir watching.
@@Diderot68 I have, that is why I feel the GS are superior. The finishing of the DJ is not comparable with the GS, and the GS movements are in a different league. I was going to buy a DJ (availability issues aside) a couple of years back, but opted for a GS instead after comparing them.
I own a few Rolexes and owned one GS. The finishing is certainly better on the GS but not by much. The problem with GS is their design language. The dials are incredible but there is always something which doesn't feel 100% right with every model. For me it was the bracelet and that's why I sold mine.
Couldn't disagree more! I went to the AD wanting a 36mm DJ because of all the internet hype and at the end bought the 41 instead with the mint green dial and jubilee bracelet. I've a 17cm wrist and the 36 just wasn't convincing. The 41 is in fact a 39.5mm and not 41 so it has already the perfect proportions. I usually prefer smaller watches but the proportions of the 41 are already perfect. This tought me to always buy what I like on my wrist and to try the watches first. If you prefer the 36, go for it! It certainly means that it is the right watch for your wrist!
The crown is too small, that's the only flaw. Doesn't look right. I haven't had the opportunity to measure, but it's not impossible that they are using the same crown as the 36 mm.
Completely agree. Best combination smooth with jubilee. If the dial was mint green then it’s an absolute winner, the back is lovely also. Great honest video
Yep, agree to 100% I've the exact configuration you mention with the mint green dial and I absolutely love it!
Have same configuration but with Rhodium dial and superb as a daily plus it’s sooo comfortable!
Now we’re getting somewhere. Agreed. Thanks. Great video.
Thanks for the kind words and for watching!

Agree as I can either way and love them both. Thanks so much for watching.
My wrist is only 6"- 6.25" and wearing this (silver dail with oyster as daily driver) fine.

I like the case of the AT but the bracelet is pure crap.
@@maitrehgcheck out their OEM rubber strap. It's amazing.
What stop you to choose the Mint Green? I got the black dial and thinking whether I should change to Mint Green dial - any opinion?

And it has those new clasps ? That opens super soft or feel super soft and not like you are going to break a nail ?
@@ramontg5488 Yes, nice! Thanks for watching.
Is there a film over the top left lug?
Yes, forgot to mention its stickered on the sides, top and also some on the clasp. Thanks for watching!
I’m confused. I thought you much preferred the 36mm size based on your video of the blue dial DJ a while back.

@@erikkinginnyc Got it. I appreciate your feedback and content. Thanks.
Personally I prefer the explorer, but the datejust is amazing. Really you can’t go wrong with any Rolex model
Agree and the DJ, OP and Explorer are very similar other than dials and date. Thanks so much for watching.
This watch beats most Grand Seikos hands down.
GS Night Birch or Lake Suwa both beat the DJ in every way.
@@tiegoz I am also a dial person. Nevertheless, hold those GS in your hands and compare with a DJ and you may change your mind.

The new OP black looks nice too
Agree, as I love that watch as well. Thanks for watching.
Fully agree 👍
Absolutely beautiful.
You SHOULD buy the watch you like NOT what someone else tells you to.

They call it 41 but it's smaller than that.
True - a bit smaller. Thanks for watching.
Its a 40 mm !

Completely disagree. If you want a Datejust get a 36mm! DJ 41 has all the wrong proportions.
