I'm quite busy these days which is why I don't post much anymore. Of course my proposal for the Extra 200 flight still stands. I would just like to warn you that you should not be too overweight (problem of space in the cockpit) and that the maximum height to be able to sit in the passenger seat is approx. 185 cm. Beyond this size you will have your head pressing against the canopy 😕. These aerobatic planes are real "flying Formula 1s" (rather Formula 2 for the Extra 200 😄) everything is designed to be as light (but strong) and as aerodynamic as possible. If you wish, I can also offer you to fly above the Swiss Alps on a Robin DR400 and discover the most famous peaks (Matterhorn, Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau...) everything is possible 😁 Of course if the weather permits...
@@chaviationvideos2602 Wow! To see those mountains would fulfill a lifelong dream of mine! Thank you very much! Just curious, what Lycoming variant does the Robin have? Is it a two or four seat? What year was it built? OK...I'm 174cm [5ft 8.5in] and weigh 77 kilos [170lbs]. I should fit in the Extra 200 OK. I am the RC model representative in our local EAA chapter. I don't have a pilot's license, but my friends let me fly from the right seat often. We'll talk some more, thanks. Have a nice day! 🙂🖐
@@paulkrapp DR400s are equipped with different engines from O-235 to O-360. They are 4-seaters. The Airclub where I fly owns 3 DR400 : - 2008 O-360 180HP - 2016 O-320 160HP Glass cockpit - 2023 O-320 160HP Glass cockpit You are lucky to have the perfect measurements to do aerobatics. For my part I'm a little tall which is more difficult to support G-factors. If you wish u can give me your mail address so I can give you some more informations privately. BEST REGARDS !!!
Just when I was wondering what you've been doing, this pops up. 😀👍🛩I may be in your area this fall. Perhaps we can do a flight in the Extra.
