- The changes to the 2018 model Honda Odyssey are from the ground up and include an all-new chassis and a stunning exterior. Where ever you are hauling the kids, the Odyssey does it comfortably and with style. There are 5 trims levels ranging in price from $29,990 to $46,670 with the top-of-the-line Elite model seen here. Under the hood is a direct-injected 3.5 liter Earth Dreams V-6 engine that makes 280 horsepower.
The ride is remarkably smooth, the steering precise, and the cabin is wonderfully quiet. The 2018 Honda Odyssey earns a Top Safety pick from the IIHS and a 5-Star rating from the NHTSA. The Odyssey is a stunning evolution of the minivan segment. If you need to haul a big crew, with a focus on comfort and capability, the Odyssey is a best bet.

Great review!
That thang sounded good when he stomped it
But torque steer was more then obvious. Only really fast minivan was the Mercedes R class.
Commentator541 I just looked at moterweeks review of the Mercedes r class van it did 0to60 in 8.3.....and the previous odyssey did 0to60 in 7.4...........and the 2018 Honda Odyssey does 0to60 in 6.6 according to road and track reviews
Commentator541 so the odyssey is still a little faster
I'm a supercar/exotic car guy but man this is a nice van
Devin Gary yea there pretty nice I like that vtec sound these thanks are fast
Ron Jeremy is great at these reviews
Ron is better looking than this guy. I thought he was Gene Shalit from the early 70's?
2018 Honda Odyssey Elite, 2,553 miles
This is the All New 2018 Honda Odyssey Elite.
I have no wife and kids but I think I might buy this van. Where can you find a vehicle that can haul this many passengers, or by removing the seats have 150+ cubic feet of cargo space, and STILL get over 20 miles per gallon? Not to mention I can park it in any normal parking space and it easily fits in my garage. I also like all the high tech options. Plus Honda reliability. I'm planning on pulling out the middle row of seats and use it as a camper van.
Geezed Out
I hope you aren't going to be the creepy guy parked by the junior high school in your new minivan......lol.
Nope. I'll be enjoying my retirement in one of our beautiful National Parks.
Car and Driver has Odyssey Elite with 10 Speed doing 0-60mph in 6.6 seconds. Fast for a minivan and quick in general.
Rediscover Film true...that's faster than a Durango hemi😂😂
Rediscover Film I think the 9 speed is a little faster than the 10 speed because the 9 speed comes on the lower end models which are a little lighter in weight...but it may be wrong......but either way that's fast for a van
Autobytel you should do a 0to60 video of this to see if you can get a better time than 7.5......cause car and driver got 6.6 secsonds
damn nice!!!! you had me at vacuum! 😆
I learned about the sliding seat design on Autoline Daily interview with the Odyssey designer, but I still think they should have adopted Chrysler's Stow-n'-Go design. Let's hope it's not corporate pride that prevented the licencing of the Chrysler design.
Does odessey 2018 EX model has adjustable front raw armrests?..pls anyone reply..thanks
Chassis isn't new. It's an updated version of the old one which they've been using for like 10 years
oopsisuckeditagain it's not a new platform...
Nasty 2700K interior halogen lights.
No stowaway seats kills it. It's a minivan! If it can't be that, then there is no point, you can just get a large SUV. I LOVE THE NEW DASH.
Plus the seats in the Pacifica are uncomfortable in the middle
The pilot is a better minivan.
