I find it truly amazing the people who dedicate their lives to helping others and this platform which allows these stories to be shared with the world. It is a wonder what goes on that we might be unaware of thus lacking the knowledge we all should have.

Usually rich people are indifferent, they dont bother with such stuff. If you ask me people who disliked will probably be people poor like him, who do not like the progress one of their own doing. Just speaking anecdotally contrary to popular expectation, I have seen rich people respecting food on plate and not wasting and people who have seen poverty, have been hungry take more then they can eat on plate and waste food.
@@gsnayak06 I agree to a good extent on your points. Rich people respecting food in my country are far and few & there are many who waste food unnecessarily. I have been at their receiving end very often wherein, they mention about how their stomach, cannot be abused by stuffing unwanted portions of food. Having said that, I am proud to say, my country has heroes, mostly unsung, who ensure that, a huge number of poor & underpriveleged kids/elders go to sleep with food in their tummy & blessings on their lips. My main comment was solely based on the upbringing & values that were imbibed into me by my parents and grandparents. :-)

Thank you Curly tales. I stay in Chunabhatti but never knew about this. I will surely pay him a visit and try to help him out. Even I work in a call centre but I think I can help him little bit every month and help him establish a shop first. He is a truely hard working guy and am sure he will do his best.

I work at Sion Circle, I see everyday these people come till 11 in the morning and then they start preparing for making Vada Pav.
Then they start selling vada pav after 2 o'clock in the afternoon, then they continue till 7:30 o'clock
These people work very hard, I will never know whether these people eat food in the afternoon or not, I have never seen
This uncle and his children work very hard, I feel very proud to see them.

Yes there is capitalism, their is curroption, and poverty but people have that hard working notion which makes this city great, friendly, mesmerizing and pride of India. Day By day the city is transforming all thanks to the people providing as an engine for its growth. In 5-10 years it may be fair to compare Mumbai with Tokyo, new York, london, shanghai etc. A great city is that whose run by good spirited people

Satish ji's vada pav is my go-to every evening after work on my way back home when I have been on an empty stomach since lunch. It is the most delicious, warm, wholesome vada pav you will get in the city. Thinking of one bite makes me drool. What's exceptional aside from the quality of Satish ji's product, is the quality of his upbringing. I have been interacting with his two eldest sons for over a year and they are some of the most decent, kind, gentle and respectful young men I have ever come across. I hope this family comes into a lot of prosperity, happiness and good health.
