In 1970-80 the owner of saroj sweets used to give a small scholarship to students of swami vivekanand high school. He gave a scholarship to my friend. My friend was inspired to study hard because of the scholarship. I am happy to say my friend still remembers it very fondly. He is the head of the department of cardiology at St Louis , USA. This public service aspect of saroj owners needs to be appreciated.
I lived in Chembur till I got married. Saroj was the most famous shop 40 years back. I have fond memories and I am proud that quality is still maintained. Congrats, madam. 👏👏. Mrs. Viswanathan
Thr is a Big n Sweet Battle btwn Jhama & Saroj in chembur..... Saroj consistently n strictly goes for pure n quality ...quality n quality only....being a Chemurkar we r proud of you n your inspiring journey Manisha Mathare mam... a big salute
I am not from chembur but have visited jhama everytime I am in chembur.I had never heard about Saroj .will try it next time I am at chembur.for people who are not from chembur somehow Jhama is known to everyone as a”that famous sweet shop in chembur “.
I was born in Chembur and stayed there till 2023 and since last 8 years I've working overseas but when ever I visit India I make it a point to visit all the places I spent during my childhood days. I still rem there was a tread to distribute 50 gms peda when you pass 10th or 12th grade. All students used to queue up outside saroj or kashi diary 😂
Being a Chemburite myself , felt a strong bonding with you Manishatai. I have always purchased sweets and namkeen from your popular ‘ Saroj Sweet Home ‘ and enjoyed its taste and freshness. Your journey is remarkable….
Being quality conscious and maintaining constant supervision at every stage is the key to their success...The Director Madam looks a non-compromising character...otherwise she could'nt have taken this business to the second generation ( having been started by her Father-in-law ) and earning the goodwill as well... Very lively person.. I wish her all prosperity.. Thank You again Kamiya Madam..🌷
Lived in Chembur for most of my life and I used to only eat the brown peda from Saroj, it was divine stuff! I've actually even met Marathe ma'am once in school during an event, she was damn sweet and so lively! Full of life, full of energy. Good to come across their story.

Thank you for such an inspirational journey. Looking forward for more such videos. Lovely vlog 👏👍
I stay in vikhroli and was very happy when Saroj sweets opened their branch here!
They have only one branch and that is opposite chembur station. Not the vikhroli one.
@@TSS8373 I think I am sure they have it as the bag has both the addresses.
Now I am guessing it is some other Saroj brand and not the one which is shown in the video.
Loved her so much.Great inspiration mam.
She is a strong and intelligent woman 👍
Proud of you Manisha mam,❤❤❤
