Matt, I'm sure you make your Dad very proud the way you have mimicked his interest in early and historic motorcycles. Between the two of you the sheer scope of knowledge on the subject is insurpassable. The museum is on my bucket list and I'll get there some day, so help me!
That table jig is a remarkably well thought out device, from the period when virtually everything was manufactured to be repairable by the Mechanics of the time. There was nothing even remotely like this at my Motorcycle Technical College and this is the first time I've ever heard of one.
Just fantastic , I love the shops ... Wright Brothers , Henry Ford , original Airports , and justifiably this Shop !... "time capsules- time machines" indeed.
As others, I am incredibly impressed how you took your father's passion and grew and progressed through time. The knowledge you all have and share is a national treasure and indeed a world treasure.
I wake up at 6 everyday. I start off with my coffee, smoke and wtt. I love listening and learning about all these great bikes. Thank you Matt, I love all these old videos, I went back and been watching yours dad's to. I found you guys from b&b last year. Because your dad I want a 45 lol. My ironhead would be considered new here lol
I worked in the Antique Car Shop in Chickasha, Ok. as a kid. They were Rolls Royces, White Steamers, Stanley Steamer engines, a Henderson cutoff engine and much more. There was a 1938 Atlas shaper there. When I was 49 I made a punch and die set for my old employers son. He was building a boiler for Jay Lenos White Steamer. My die set stamped out the boiler spacers. I got that Atlas shaper for the die set. Now I cut sprockets on it for my Erector Set Steam Trucks I build. This reminds me of my childhood at that special shop.
I really enjoyed the tour. The wealth of knowledge you have on motorcycles is impressive. The amount of history you've mast is indeed impressive. Certainly have some note worthy items.
So cool! I really enjoy your videos I hope I get to come to the museum some day. It’s amazing as a mechanic to look back in time to the early days of wrenching. Absolutely fascinating
Love the museum it is such a great experience been there twice so far and both times I didnt know what to expect other than a warm welcome and a great education
I sure hope you have a top of the line full coverage fire suppression system in that place like a massive carbon monoxide pressurized tank and water spray system
Very good channel, interesting, informative, good quality. I would love to hear more about total lost oil systems. What is the exact oil path, what is exactly oiled and what not? Where are the "lost" happens :D etc.
Hey Matt ,I asked asked before. Where are the Curtiss motorcycles? Glenn Curtiss built V twin motorcyles in 1907 ,long before Harley n.Indian! If your Dad has any I would love to see them n hear the story , thanks .
Freaking awesome videos you guys been doing been wanting a street bike for a while every time I get close life steps in and kinda screws me and my bank account over lol
The pipes on that Indian are just absurd. I thought modern ground-pounders were too short and fat for mid-range. Those are basically just to direct the flames outward a little, lol.
Can i just bring my tent? Ill camp out in the woods and just come help out. Ill sweep ill clean ill de grease ill get dirty and keep the place in shape. I just wanna hang out!
Where are the Curtiss motorcycles ? Glenn Curtis motorcycles were yrs ahead of every other brands in the early 1900s ! Im sure your dad appreciated Glenn Curtiss motorcycles and his mechanical genius minds!et
Any country could take Canada in days and on top of that he disarmed all the citizens. We have no military presence on either coast, no functional war ships , used subs , no ammo , 40 year old cf18’s and our military men wear dresses and have green and blue hair and are four hundred pounds . As a 20 year veteran of the CAF , I consider Canada lost and unprotected. Ripe for the picking.
I really hope you guys have a modern fire suppression system. No offense but that place looks like it's potentially one match, one worn electrical cord, away from being engulfed in flames. Be a shame to lose all that history.
Good to see young guys making content like this to preserve the history of US bikes through history.

Amazing machines!

I'd put a piece of heavy jeans material around the bars when using the bender, will give you a better grip and no scratches.
To go back in time and work in a shop like that, that's what I'm talking about!
So cool!
very cool.
Love your sweaters
Can't wait till you guys can open up again. Was wanting to come up there next weekend.
One day i will make the trip over from the UK
Great vid!
That bar is called a Hickey.
These are so amazing man it’s too bad nobody really makes motor bicycles like these anymore
Check around on youtube, there are quite a few people who build their own bikes from scratch - the early bikes were basically hand made.
I love motorcycles so much, I would love to roll around on the floor of that shop naked.
Thank god someone else wants to do what I would dig doing. It's a sickness!
That would make a historic video for sure😂😂😂😂😂😂
Talk about toys in the sandbox holy crap! Keep On Truckin my man. Very nice. Later on
I sure hope you have a top of the line full coverage fire suppression system in that place like a massive carbon monoxide pressurized tank and water spray system

Maybe you can use that cool old jig to work on my pull-backs that got a bit out of shape when I took a little spill.

How sad I was to here that your father had passed away . my prays are with you . when are you going to start the vidos on the bikes agin ?
Make sure to let folks know in every vid that your in Maggie Valley NC. One of a kind, nowhere else on the planet is there a more inclusive museum.
Where can I get the coat your wearing please? It looks very comfy and ready for autum/winter
Always keep oily rags in a bin with a lid , especially if you use any linseed oils . and keep fuel stored out side of the building . just saying .
Do you have a 19 16 model k two stroke Indian I have one some parts missing thanks
looks like it has a coaster brake on the back of the pedal side
Nothing in that museum should be roped off other than the work shop of course
I like that harley davidson sweater! Where did you get it? And is there a replica?
Where can I get that sweater at?
Brown buttons and deap pockets with tall collar.

Hey!! I can't subscribe your channel.
Your job is great, and I am sure you are doing great, but watching you bend those handlebars made me want to buy you a sandwich.
Im really loving that sweater... where to buy?!
I can help you for an HD racing sweater, like wearing on the mid 30s to mid 50s, but not for exactly this one wearing by Matt.
I really hope you guys have a modern fire suppression system. No offense but that place looks like it's potentially one match, one worn electrical cord, away from being engulfed in flames. Be a shame to lose all that history.
