Thank you so much for explaining how many sc stitches go in the sides of the blanket. I watched 6 different videos on how to do a boarder and you are the only person who explained this. Had to rip out all my sc around a 7'x4' blanket but at least I know how to do it right.
Hi Renee. That’s a great question. Honestly, I allowed the chain 5 to count as my first Dtr and take that first stitch space hoping not to crowd. It also helped to keep the stitch count the same. If I were to not count the chain 5 as a stitch I would also have to skip the chain 5 at the end to keep from adding an extra stitch to the border and making the side uneven. If you can work the Dtr row by making that extra Dtr in the first stitch space and not have a gap but also not add that extra stitch to the row, go for it! 😉😁❤️🧶
Hi Shawn! Hmm, it should take you right to my website so just go there for the pattern. Www.crochetwithTiffany.com. Honestly the amount of yarn you will need for the border is hard to identify. As a reference I made a size between a receiving blanket and a crib blanket and used 1 1/3 skeins of yarn. If you crochet with a looser tension I would error on more yarn. Hope this helps! 😊❤️🧶. Thank you for the heads up on the link. I will fix that.
How can I figure out how much yarn this border will take for my project? I don't want to start this birder and then find out half way through that I don't have enough yarn to finish it.
Hi Michelle! I believe I used just over one skein of the yarn I indicate in the video. I believe it was Hobby Lobby’s SugarWheel Cotton Solid. Definitely go online to hobbylobby.com to find all the information on this yarn. This will give you an idea of how much you will need for YOUR border. Hope this helps! 😊🧶❤️
Hi Bertha! A couple other people mentioned that in the comments here as well. That gap really blends in and disappears as you move forward. Looking at the finished border you can't notices where it begins and ends. But if this blanket border is not for you that's perfectly ok! There are many other blanket borders you can play with and use. 😊❤️🧶

You are. A very good teacher. Thank you you. I understood. All of your. Instruction. It was so helpful. To. My. Crochet. Work. Pat
Love this border. Super easy to follow. Used it for a blanket I just made my sister. I hope she loves it as much as I do. Thank you for sharing.
Very pretty! Love the border it’s like a picture frame around your work. 👍🏻

I loved the border it's easy to follow. I also loved the double V stitch. Thank you Ms. Tiffany. Looking forward to you next video.
🥰🥰🥰
Love this border, was thinking of doing the triple twist a different color
Beautiful blanket! Question please … why did you skip a stitch starting your Double Treble stitches since it left a gap? Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. The border is gorgeous
AWE! Thank you so much Sandra! 😊🧡🧶
Great I like it
In the first corner when you slip stitch, do you make a single crochet in that same space before goibg along the row?
Beautiful, but I personally do not like gaps, how can I make it so that it does not have any gap?
Great question! Try working a shorter stitch link a Dc or Hdc instead of the Dtr. 😊🧶❤️
❤❤
The pattern link won’t work, sweetie. I’m doing the lapghan size and need to know how many skeins of the border yarn to order. Thank you, Tiffany 😊

Beautiful border, but the gap at the beginning of the first row of the Double treble…… is too noticeable, sorry😔
