Yeah man, when I lived really far South as a kid, my parents had a huge yard. That environment- hot, humid, almost always sunny, tons of rain- grew things so thick, and so fast. It was practically a jungle. We'd have to do a job about twice what was in this video five or six times a year. It usually took four to five people an entire weekend. And a week later the grass would be higher than your ankles. My dad already worked hard labor all week, and my mom has severe allergies to just about everything. It was insane and we didn't have hundreds of dollars a month to dedicate to lawn care. Don't fuggin judge.
Videos like these actually inspired me to reach out to a neighbor down the street (10 houses away) and ask to mow his lawn free. He was so grateful. I was going to help another neighbor out, but someone else beat me to it!

Just an idea, especially for those homeowners that are weirded out by the “free” part (I’m thinking of the video from last week with the power washing down found sidewalk), maybe make a yard sign with either advertising your business (if you normally do work in the area) or your UA-cam and say they can repay you by putting the sign in their yard for a week or two. Let’s them feel like there is a transaction taking place. I realise you’d do it anyway, but hey two birds-one stone!

One thing I've taken from these videos is the sheer vast amount of land even "small" homes have, in the UK you'd be lucky to even have a front garden, never mind a football pitch in the back like half of these, it's actually mind blowing.
Remember, america is a massive country for the amount of people compared to the UK, as well as the era of when population happened for either country. You have a more respectable country. :)
That looks like a pretty big urban yard by anyone's standards. I had a huge yard growing up, but I lived on a farm. That is to be expected. This guy's yard? Ginormous!

Fun fact: the phrase "to be caught red-handed" comes from mulberry fruits. Thieves who stole the fruit would stain their hands with the juice and it was really hard to wash off. So it was clear what they had been up to and they were literally caught red-handed.

WOW! That was one overgrown back yard. Transformation is amazing! I watch you to motivate myself on getting my yard back into shape after letting it go for a year or better. My mother passed and it devastated me. I just couldn't do the things I loved to do anymore and being outside mowing and taking care of my flower beds and garden was my happiest time normally. It has been over a year now since she passed and Im slowly finding myself. I have a lot to accomplish for sure with 3 acres of yard to take care of. The seriously hot and humid weather has slowed me down but I got all fall to get things looking better so come spring it wont be overwhelming mess it is to me right now. Thank you for helping me deal with the overwhelming feelings I have. I know I have to take it one step at a time. 😊
This one is incredible. They have a huge backyard. Those kids were blessed by you, also the parents being able to watch the kids play. Hope you didn't get any poison ivy on you. Be blessed
You are so efficient with your technique. I like that you edge first and then mow. Also, great camera angles, no music amd natural lighting. I watch another lawnmower channel that is pretty good too, but he is enhancing the color in his footage, so all the greens look fluorescent and it's not easy on the eyes AT ALL. Keep doing what your doing, don't change anything. The length of your videos are perfect, natural sounds of the lawnmower, natural lighting.....EXCELLENT.

Haha. .I was thinking the same. Tbh, I'm happy with my terraced 1920's London house and 60ft garden!! Just perfect to manage. I fear anything larger because I always think that the bigger something is the more headache it is to maintain it!
@@johanlahti84 Goes with out saying!
@@kitty16vcat11 , go look up dwarf carpet of stars...you could put ACRES of that sort of thing and have not only minimal maintenance on it, but that it also requires less water than grass...in fact, it only needs water every 7 to 10 days, AND it needs only some edging, and it also needs no mowing...it is essentially like Astroturf and other forms of artificial grass, but that it is actually a real life plant.
Ginormous!
Dear Spencer, I wanted to let you know, you are an International inspiration! A gentleman in Australia is offering to mow people's yards for Free, similar to what you do. Awesome!😊
The UA-cam algorithm led me to your videos. Very generous and inspiring of you to be doing this for your community. Keep up the great work!
Awesome, thank you!
🤯If I had a backyard THAT big, I know i'd have every fruit and veggie I could plant back there. I'd never have to visit the grocery store again. 😍
This man’s work ethic is truley unmatched! His will to help others with baring the financial burden is just angelic! N he puts 100% into it. Sometimes when you get something free it lacks quality. His work speaks for itself m! Much love brother ❤
Regularly makes ~$5k per job from views. He's an awesome guy but it's paid by the people watching instead of the homeowner 🤘✨
He gets paid quite well from youtube for his work. Quite the ingenious way of earning money I'd say, doing something you love to do and getting paid to do it!
@@Zak-47 I mean he could definitely charge and still make the videos and make even more money, but he wants to help out people in need.
@@Zak-47 Is SB defrauding the homeowners or the sponsors? Do the people whose yards are overgrown deserves his help? Do any of us who receive help from someone deserve it?
@@lilzajaneHe should be paid quite well for his work. Do you get paid for your work? And when you got paid did you deserve it?
Great work. I’m impressed how this family’s backyard looks like a park now, super inviting place to sit, relax and eat some berries. Hope the man gets inspired by your work and put some benches and maybe a picnic table on that backyard for his kids to enjoy the summer... kids can even ride their bicycles on their backyard now. Beautiful
Thank you so much for the support, I appreciate it!
So as I'm older now and unfortunately on disability, I can truly understand how yards can easily get out of control. It's awesome you're are out helping those in need, thank you! Keep up the amazing work.
Thank you for watching!
The local council charge money for the home occupier to remain on the land, so as they claim jurisdiction, they can clean it up. Send them the bill, they can pay it!
Its crazy how the brain works, that this is so satisfying to watch. (didnt expect that when this video showed up out of the blue) And dude, if there were more people with your character, the world would be a much better place!
@@kar-el7414 Yes I know man, I am sorry you had to experience that...but this guy is lucky, he has a youtube channel with supporters. If someone would be nasty or whatever to him, I am sure they will end up regretting it.
@@kar-el7414 We usually recieve back from people we never gave to. Have you ever noticed that? I do.
There are lots of amazing people out there. They’re just not the ones you see in the media normally. ❤
it helps me to sleep
The yards are no where even close to being this big. The houses are on a small lot with no front yard and no back yard to speak of. The houses today are like living in an apartment but with a little yard between you. You do such good work, no matter the challenge and for free. You are just a godlike man looking to help everyone who needs it. Thank you. 😊
So much edging! This was a big job!!
You are truly a credit to your family, your community and humanity. Keep up the good work. 👍
Aww thank you Michael!!!
I’d like to wish your father a happy Father’s Day because you were definitely raised right. Don’t know the story but great work ethic. Love what you do.♥️👍🏼
He is a great dad, taught me a lot!
Thank god I’m not the only one who gets excited to clean up messes. 😂 This is so awesome you do this for people. We don’t see a lot of stuff like this in NY where I’m from, society is too self focused in these times, it’s awesome when someone comes along like an angel to help out those who really need it. 👍
Thank you so much for the support!
my guy, the passion you have for landscaping is awesome. i'd say it's infectious if my chronic pain wasn't flaring up just thinking about how hard this job is on the body. it's genuinely so cool to see somebody so passionate about a job that so frequently gets overlooked by most people. not only that, but you're excited about a hard job you're doing *for free.* people like you are so hard to come by these days. massive respect for everything you do.
Best wishes for a joyous and poison oak free wedding, SB. Congratulations to you and your significant other! 💜
Haha thank you so much!
The attention to detail is what makes these jobs look so amazing afterwards. I love watching Free Friday Mow jobs! Great job Spencer and keep it up!
Thank you for watching Wendy, I appreciate the support!
Spencer you got some new friends from India.. We love your work ❤️
Keep helping the community ✌🏻
Hey thank you so much from across the world!
My husband died 14 months ago but I mowed the lawns. Now on limited income, my electric mower broke - the handle came clean off! I bought a second hand one but watching your videos I picked up some tips. Wish we lived on th same continent but thanks for those tips
Dude, I have seen a lot of people doing this stuff, but you are the only real deal. You do the full package, sidewalks, driveways, gutters just everything it is truly amazing! nice job and keep up the great works! Thanks.
this is the best one, but i suggest to get the owners reaction to the backyard or smth at the end and also its nice to see you talk now once in a while in the video if you find something interesting. It makes the video better and not boring to watch
Thank you for the suggestions!
Fun fact: the phrase "to be caught red-handed" comes from mulberry fruits. Thieves who stole the fruit would stain their hands with the juice and it was really hard to wash off. So it was clear what they had been up to and they were literally caught red-handed.
That’s pretty smart. Did you stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night? 😂
Who gives a fuck
I did not know that!
Are you sure it doesn't refer to something more serious that berry picking, _such as murder and blood?_
@@spacelemur7955 yeah, anyone knows that even large quantities of blood are super easy to wash off. Even after murdering someone!
Wow! That mower of yours is a beast! Your videos have been a blessing. I have vertigo, and sometimes all I can do is lay in bed and watch your videos and try to relax. Sometimes I can’t even watch the video, so I would lay there with it playing and my eyes closed just listening to you mowing and picturing it, and just that is soothing. So thank you so much for these videos.
Really looking forward to seeing how that hidden sidewalk is gonna look. And that mower is a beast. You were cutting down trees with it
I feel like I just watched a 39:38 minute commercial for Hustler Mowers...and loved every minute of it! It can mow down anything and will fit in my truck bed. Keep up the great work and videos!
It is awesome! One of the best mowers I've used, and they are built 30 minutes from my house!
This channel is so relaxing, and I understand why you are "excited" to do these jobs. The symmetry of the finished job is very satisfying. It's like a Frank Lloyd Wright architectural work; the exactness of it. Beautiful.
Wow, thank you so much! I put a lot of time into my videos and I am so happy to see that it is being recognized.
That is one of the truly satisfying curb cleanup and mowing jobs! Looks great! Enjoy your enthusiasm.
Thank you so much!
You are definitely doing a lot of good in your community and helping a lot of good people who have just hit on hard times for one reason or another. You never know a persons story until you knock on that door. You deserve the key to the city for all you are doing. Keep up the awesome work Spencer!
UA-cam led me to your videos, becoming addicted to your content. Thank you, very good work. Have a nice weekend.
Awesome! Thank you!
I am amazed you find this fun. I see you are in the right line of work! I like a job where you can see the results right away.
Thank you! Me as well!
DUDE, that property was HUGE! Great work, man! I'm really impressed with your "above and beyond" approach to all these jobs. Everything looks SO good when you're done. (Watching from Concordia, KS).
Right! Looked like he was mowing a park or something. That's one large plot!
That’s a huge back yard! It looks beautiful now. Plenty of room to play soccer.❤️🤸♂️
It was huge!!!!!
You are by far the hardest working man I've ever seen!!! People who are getting paid half do the work, and you are going the extra mile and a half!!! That's a lot of work for UA-cam! It's nice to see someone doing random acts of kindness instead random acts of violence! I subscribed because I know it helps pay your way, keep up the good. Now I feel inspired to help someone that I don't know! Take care!👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Aww thank you for the support!
This is one of my favorite jobs of yours!
Thank you!
Another great job spencer .
I very much appreciate your work ethic.
And that mower is a work horse.
Nicely done again.
I'm allergic to poison ivy too so I am with you on avoiding that plant!! Beautiful job Spencer, as usual!! Always a great video! ❤️
He can take a shot ruth that will make him immune to ivoy for a time limit
Thank you so much for the support! I thankfully didnt get a reaction from this lawn
Spencer, you are awesome and inspiring. You have such a positive attitude and you make a difference with your generosity
I appreciate that!
Oh Spencer, you are truly a miracle worker. You’ve done a lovely job. Thank you for helping this homeowner.
This is so wild, every time I thought you’d done the bulk of the backyard there was more😂 it would look really great if they took care of the overgrown trees too! And I’m sure now that they can walk to them theyd be more motivated to do that. You’re amazing for doing all of this work!
The lady had no clue what all he had done, but he stayed so humble. Impressive. That was worth thousands.
This is too much dude, I love it. I am a new homeowner, had our place for 3 years. Our nextdoor neighbor Raul is a professional yard care guy and he has mowed and blown my yard for 3 years now, it's an incredible thing. He just can't be stopped, what a great guy and I have no way to repay him for his amazing kindness. You remind me of Raul and you are a great guy, love these videos very satisfying and soothing.
I grew up in Florida and so I know how big and tall lawns can get, this is a really great video, like you I get excited when I see a very tall overgrown area I get to cut down.
16:04 Yeah BABY!!
I really like watching your channel...it comes with great edging, weed eating, tree trimming, mowing( one tough mower, and it gets a workout)...it’s the whole package. Makes me get out there with my tools! You sure don’t take on the easy ones! - watching from Lake Wales, Florida
Seeing the way he described poison ivy reminded me of the time I found poison ivy in my cousin's backyard where he played on the swings and stuff. Told his dad and the poison ivy was removed. Always gotta check around the outdoor playsets if you have any because a kid may not know what it is and touch it.
That was what I'd call an Urban Jungle to be sure! Definitely have to sharpen the mower blade after that one. Excellent job, as always 👏 👍 👌 Looking forward to part 2. God bless 😇
Thank you so much for watching!
Just watched you helping out with Kevin and his dad in Tulsa. I love seeing my favs collaborate. It inspires me to seek out any unseen videos. You guys are GREAT!
I love working with the Hansons, and I'm glad you saw my guest appearance!
Hey Spencer, I'm from the Wichita area as well, wondering if you have had a chance to team up with Brian over at Top Notch Lawn Care? He's a great guy, same as you, I think seeing what you guys could do for those in need would be amazing! Bless you for what you do for those not able to, no matter the circumstance.
It's really nice to see someone who really takes pleasure in doing a good job despite how hard the job may be. Hope he makes alot of money with these videos and pray his back doesn't give out, that type of work takes a toll your body. Good job buddy👍
I love that you do this for free. Especially as a lot of people just haven’t got the energy or the time or even the funds to take care of it themselves. Long May you continue sir.
Excellent job, Spencer! With all the challenges that backyard presented, I couldn’t help but chuckle at the random cutting pattern you had to utilize. You kinda reminded me of watching my Roomba go through a room with lots of obstacles in the way…😂😂
I would love to edge my curb and sidewalk could you tell me please what tools I would need for this job I cant seem to find what I need , Ihelps if I knew what Im looking for lol thank you you are a great human being.
Haha it was a very weird space!
These videos are so inspiring to watch, and relaxing, too! I'm a city girl these days, but my first job out of college was in lawn care for a small company in my hometown. I didn't much care for that job, but I found that was mostly because working in that environment lacked a sense of purpose. Watching your videos, I can see that sense of purpose in what you're doing for these people and it inspires me to carry that spirit of generosity into my daily life. Keep doing what you're doing - it really makes a difference for people!
I'm happy to help these people out! Thank you for supporting my by watching.
I am so amazed how hard you work for others. I wish there was more people like you in the world. Keep up the good work. 😊😊😊😊💜💟👍👍👍👍👍👍
I like how you get excited about the tall grasses. I'm sure the "customers" feel awesome!
Wow Spencer, you did a wonderful job on these peoples yard. You do a great job on all of your projects. Hope you have a great weekend
Thanks 👍
Never would have thought that watching someone clean up a yard would be so therapeutic! Haha! I love it!
What a great job you're doing young man! I admire your strength, will power and dedication! 💖
These are so addictive can't stop watching! Just mowed my lawn the other day, did an okay job. Keep up the quality content

I can still smell it today!

Mad love to you, dude! I live in Portland, Oregon and deliver for Amazon. There are so many homes that need this kind of love!
