I think BTS are *at* their peak currently. Sure, you can blame it on armys deranged mass-buying and streaming culture, but their new releases (especially Jungkook considering that he’s the most popular member) are breaking records left and right. Although, I doubt that this will continue to 2025 when they’ll eventually have a full comeback.
Girl's gen, shinee, etc are very old groups so theyd eventually stop making music but I will highly agree with the BTS & Blackpink one because their music sucks AND are veryy overrated like their old music was kinda good but their current music is so mid and def doesn't deserve the hipe
kara is an old group but they didnt fall off, their comeback last year was so much cooler than snsd's if you take out the nostalgia card

Twice is definitely maintaining their over-all quality and BTS is slaying.
You can't honestly say Indigo, Arson, Haegum, Astronaut etc were not great songs (I haven't heard the other solos yet)
They are covering both mainstream pop and deeper subjects... the same as they used to do in the beginning... what else do we need?

exactly. just because their music has changed doesn't mean its a bad change- plus the members are grown up and are allowed to release more mature/personal music especially if its a solo. the public is still eating up bts's every move, they are still at their peak and they have been for years on end

If you want to see passion, Jhope is there.
Indigo album was so soothing to the soul. Jin's astronaut was so nice.

Like, they're artists, their music style will change over the years obviously. Given the fact that they have been in the industry for ten years already.
And they are growing as artists so they will keep experimenting with new music styles.
It's immature to think an adult in their twenties will write songs with the same angst and darkness as a late teen.
Different age groups. Different problems. Different emotions. Different outlook.
I'm a new army (2021) but I loved their older songs more. But that doesn't mean the newer songs are bad or flops etc.
